    Hi,
    actually there's none. The UITableView class needs to "know" the tableView's height so either it can calc <number of rows> times <row height> or it has to sum the height of each single row.
    If the row which needs to be of different size always is the first or the last row you can user a tableHeader or tableFoot view.

  • How to print all the same color events together?

    I am wanting to print off a chore schedule and have all of the blue tasks print off together, all of the green tasks printed together, ectra.
    It all looks good on the screen with all like colored events grouped together, but when I print it off the events are in random order.
    How can I get ical to print off all of these events in the order that they appear on the screen?
    I am using ical 2.0.3.

    I am pretty new to this.  How do I calibrate it?
    I am not sure what a command workstation is. I have tried different choices in the properties of the printer and it doesn't change anything for the better.  Some make the graphics worse.

    I want to convert a .PDF file from Black-&-White to White-&-Black.  A 303 page manual I need to print has black pages and white ink (ouch!).
    Thanks

    Hmm, I found this link that has a post indicating most PDFs can be inverted using a well rounded image editing software like Photoshop or Gimp(Free). If you decide to go that route here are the steps from that0n3guy's post:
    "-Download and install gimp
    -Open the pdf with gimp: File -> open ->file.pdf
    An import from pdf screen will pop up. You can only import one page at a time (well.. you can do multiples, but it puts it in its own layer... ). I usually only up the resolution to about 150 or 200 pixels/inch.
    - Invert the colors: Colors -> Invert
    - Save the image as a tiff -> file -> save as
    done" -- The post is somewhat dated so more functionality could have been added to handle multiple pages.
    Best of Luck!

  • How to print with an HP Color laser 2600n via USB

    Hi,
    I am new to this forum and have read many responses but so far I have been unable to use my new HP Color Laser 2600n. The steps that I have followed are :
    I have installed the drivers from the HP web site : hpColorLaserJet2600nv1.3.dmg
    "Installation successful"
    I have installed the firmware "2600FWUpdate-20061215.dmg". The software ask to connect the printer using an USB cable. The printer is recognised and the installation is:
    "Successful".
    When I add the printer to the printer list, I can see the printer "HP Color laser 2600n" but not a driver with a same name. If I use the driver 2550 as suggested in this forum, the installation is also : "Successful".
    When I print the page, the system tells me that the document has been printed "successfully" and I can see the document in the list of "task completed".
    The computer tells me that everything is fine but no page come out of the printer.
    Has someone come up with this problem?
    PS: I cannot use the Ethernet cable because I don't have a network and am already using the socket for Internet.
    Thank you in advance for your help.

    Thank you for your suggestion. I have already repaired disk permission several times. When I send the document to print, it appears in the print queue for a while before being moved into "task completed". The printer status is "ready". There is ink and paper. I do not receive any error message. The printer just does not blink as if it were not connected. However it is connected and is recognised because I can see it name from the computer.

  • How can print alv with out color  ?

    i am printing an alv report that i define certain colors for
    The columns.
    But when i print the report i see lines (like XXX or /////) on the
    Colors ( may be to see the difference of the colors )  .
    is there any way to ignore the colors in printing ?
    i checked  IS_PRINT I didn’t see any parameter to ignore
    Colors in printing.

    Hi dakota,
    if you print locally via SAPGUI, please play around with color options (use color!) of SAPLPD. If it happend with a SAP network printer, is has not been properly installed.

    How to print different colors of Strings into JEditorpane?
    Can any body give me answer ...

    JEditorPane contain HTML. So write your HTML using the color attribute.
    Start by read the the API description of JEditorPane. you will find a link to the Swing tutorial on "Using Text Components" which has working examples of using a JEditorPane. It also has an example of using a JTextPane where you can dynamically change the attributes of individual pieces of text.

  • Printing photos from iPhoto 9.5.1 on my printer yeilds garish two color prints. Exporting the photo from iPhoto to desktop then printing from Preview works fine. How can I get good prints from iPhoto?

    When printing photos in iPhoto 9.5.1 with my HP inkjet printer the multitude of colors in the photos are reduced to two, Magenta and Yellow. If the photos are exported to my desktop (MacPro) and printed from Preview, the colors in the prints are fine. How do I get iPhoto to print the colors correctly?

    Brad
    What settings did you use in the Export Dialogue?
    When you go File -> Export you get a tabbed box with various options. In the File Export tab you can choose to scale the pics, or keep them the same size, change or retain the format.

  • How to Print Envelopes - HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP

    I can't work out how to print envelopes on my HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP.
    I put the envelope upright (flap down) in the adjustable tray at the very top of the machine (as I have done in almost every printer I've used) and it prints the address on a sheet of paper!

    Hi goodgrandma ,
    I see by your post that you would also like to know how to print envelopes.
    I will be happy to help you.
    Both the Laserjet m251 and M276 have a main tray only.
    Above the tray is the jam access door to remove paper jams.
    To print on the envelopes, you would need to remove all the paper from the main tray and load the envelopes in the main (bottom) tray, to print to envelopes with these two units.
    If you are using Word Application, click on Tools, select Letters and Mailing/Envelopes and labels, the envelope box will open, in the envelope tab enter your address, click on Options, click the Printing Options tab, you will need to change the Feed from to Auto, it is likely set to Manual.
    What is the full name and product
    number of your printer? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
    Hope this helps.
    Thank you for posting on the HP Forums.

  • How to set HP OfficeJet 4500 used as a network printer to print in black not color as a default.

    I have my HP officejet printer set as a network printer but it prints color when I had initially set it for B&W as my default during set-up
    How do I set my HP OfficeJet 4500 used as a network printer to print in black not color as the default.
    Thanks,

    OK, go to Start > Control Panel > Printers.  Right click the printer in question and choose Printing Preferences.  Set it the way you want, then click OK.
    That should set the defaults for all programs using the printer.
    Say thanks by clicking "Kudos" "thumbs up" in the post that helped you.

  • How to print diffrent color and diffrent size of text in JTextArea ?

    Hello All,
    i want to make JFrame which have JTextArea and i append text in
    JTextArea in diffrent size and diffrent color and also with diffrent
    fonts.
    any body give me any example or help me ?
    i m thanksfull.
    Arif.

    You can't have multiple text attributes in a JTextArea.
    JTextArea manages a "text/plain" content type document that can't hold information about attributes ( color, font, size, etc.) for different portions of text.
    You need a component that can manage styled documents. The most basic component that can do this is JEditorPane. It can manage the following content types :
    "text/rtf" ==> via StyledDocument
    "text/html" ==> via HTMLDocument
    I've written for you an example of how a "Hello World" string could be colorized in a JEditorPane with "Hello" in red and "World" in blue.
    import javax.swing.JEditorPane;
    import javax.swing.text.StyleConstants;
    import javax.swing.text.StyledEditorKit;
    import javax.swing.text.StyledDocument;
    import javax.swing.text.MutableAttributeSet;
    import javax.swing.text.SimpleAttributeSet;
    import java.awt.Color;
    public class ColorizeTextTest{
         public static void main(String args[]){
              //build gui
              JFrame frame = new JFrame();
              JEditorPane editorPane = new JEditorPane();
              frame.getContentPane().add(editorPane);
              frame.pack();
              frame.setVisible(true);
              //create StyledEditorKit
              StyledEditorKit editorKit = new StyledEditorKit();
              //set this editorKit as the editor manager [JTextComponent] <-> [EditorKit] <-> [Document]
              editorPane.setEditorKit(editorKit);
              StyledDocument doc = (StyledDocument) editorPane.getDocument();
              //insert string "Hello World"
              //this text is going to be added to the StyledDocument with positions 0 to 10
              editorPane.setText("Hello World");
              //create and attribute set
              MutableAttributeSet atr = new SimpleAttributeSet();
              //set foreground color attribute to RED
              StyleConstants.setForeground(atr,Color.RED);
              //apply attribute to the word "Hello"
              int offset = 0; //we want to start applying this attribute at position 0
              int length = 5; //"Hello" string has a length of 5
              boolean replace = false; //should we override any other attribute not specified in "atr" : anwser "NO"
              doc.setCharacterAttributes(offset,length,atr,replace);
              //set foreground color attribute to BLUE
              StyleConstants.setForeground(atr,Color.BLUE);
              //apply attribute to the word "World"
              offset = 5; //we include the whitespace
              length = 6;
              doc.setCharacterAttributes(offset,length,atr,replace);

    Let param="red"

  • My pictures are not printing well--how do you do a proper color calibration say for--Costco

    My pictures are not printing well--how do you do a proper color calibration say for--Costco, Target and other companies? They lack color and are too dark, but on my Retina OSX 10.9.4, they look dreamy!

    Hi Clinton,
    Firstly thank you for replying to my plight. I just use Costco, Target. They all come back rather dark, or on the brown grey side especially Costco. I will try to ask these companies for their color profile, but then what do I do with it once I have it? I am not computer literate, so you would have to explain in English for sure. I do not use a printer for printing--only commercial places. I loved Apple printing, but sometimes they take a little too long turn around time so I use Ritz Pics (which I have little trouble with their pictures).
    Thank you so much for your help!!!!!
