How to print all columns using af:showPrintablePageBehaviour component ?

Hi,
JDev ver : 11.1.1.2.0
I have 25 columns in my table and table is surrounded by panel collection.
In panel collection toolbar facet I have added one command button and inside command button I have added af:showPrintablePageBehaviour compoent.
I can able to see only 15 columns which are fits to entire browser window.
How can I print all 21 columns using this in new browser window or any other way ?
regards,
devang

Hi,
showPrintable behavior only removes action components and beside of this renders the screen as you have it. If the screen you have doesn't show all of the columns then show printable behavior doesn't do either and you may need to look for alternative printing/reporting solutions

  • How to print all pages using ALV from CL_SALV_TABLE?

    Dear friends,
    I have a report which displays a dynamic internal table using CL_SALV_TABLE. The display format is normal list.
    And since this dynamic internal table is big, I have divided it into a sub internal table which displays 10 columns in one page at one time. And each page is displayed using a customized button that I set as MyFunction.
    The problem is, when I click List->Print or Ctrl-P, the system will only send to spool the current page even though in the Print dialog box, I choose Print All option.
    Is there a way to rectify this? Thanks.

  • How to bring all columns in a single/first page in report painter

    Hi Experts,
    There are 9 columns in a report painter which includes 1 lead column.

    Please suggest how to bring all columns in a single/first page in the new report.
    Please revert if I'm confused anywhere.

    Hi Rajneesh,
    Thanx for the quick reply. When I change the column width to 10 it comes in one page. But the requirement is to keep the column width to at least 12 or 14 and moreever the original report from where this report is copied having the same no of columns and the column width for original report is 14 and it comes in one page only.
    Do I need to do something more to achieve this. My question is how the original reports data comes in one page where as the current report having issue with same number of columns.
    Pls suggest.
    Thanx,

  • How to retrieve multiple columns using "returning" in the Insert query.

    hi,
    wanted to know how to retrieve multiple columns using "returning" in the Insert Query.
    For retrieving one column we write the query as follows:
    Insert into TABLE values(1,2,3,4) returning COLUMN1 into PARAMETER
    But can we retrive multiple columns in the same query?
    am using oracle 10g and coding in .NET

    Hi,
    You can definetely get multiple values from a single query using the 'returning' clause.
    Eg : insert into emp (empno, ename, job, deptno) values (7324,'ADAM','MARKETING',30) returning ename, deptno into var1, var2; PN : var1 & var2 to be declared as varchar2 & number respectively.
    More insight into the 'RETURNING' clause in this link.

    I don't have CS3 anymore but I don't think this has substantially changed in the last few versions of InDesign.
    Choose View > Grids & Guides > uncheck Lock Column Guides. Then drag the column guides to the position you want.

  • How to print PDF files using java print API

    Hi,
    I was goign throw lot of discusion and reading lot of forums related to print pdf files using java api. but nothing seems to be working for me. Can any one tell me how to print pdf files using java api.
    Thanks in advance

    Mike,
    Can't seem to get hold of the example described in your reply below. If you could let us have the URL to get then it would be great.
    My GUI application creates a pdf document which I need to print. I want to achieve this using the standard Java class PrinterJob (no 3rd party APIs I'm afraid, commercial restraints etc ..). I had a stab at it using the following code. When executed I get the pretty printer dialog then when I click ok to print, nothing happens!
    boolean showPrintDialog=true;
    PrinterJob printJob = PrinterJob.getPrinterJob ();
    printJob.setJobName ("Contract.pdf");
    try {
    if (showPrintDialog) {
    if (printJob.printDialog()) {
    printJob.print();
    else
    printJob.print ();
    } catch (Exception PrintException) {
                   PrintException.printStackTrace();
    Thank you and a happy new year.
    Cheers,
    Chris

  • How to select all columns in a trigger?

    I add a "before delete" trigger on a table, in order to insert the records to a backup table before they are deleted.
    but I cannot write like this : insert into t_backup select * from :old;
    The table has more than 30 columns so I don't want to select them one by one, how can I select all columns?

    Yes, it is possible by writing something like this :
    where col1 = :old.col1; But it is not directly supported. First, we need a package to remember all the OLD records:.... and please see below link for complete code in action :
    http://www.dbforums.com/oracle/925729-trigger-back-up-data.html
    What I am doing here, just copying the code and replacing "emp" with "test" (The table name on which I am going to apply this using notepad find and replace):
    SQL> select * from test_backup;
    no rows selected
    SQL> select * from test;
             A
             1
             2
             4
             5
    SQL> select * from test_backup;

      test_tab test_type;

    create or replace trigger test_bds before delete on test
    begin
      test_trg_pkg.test_tab.delete;
    end;
    create or replace trigger test_adr after delete on test
    for each row
    declare

      pragma autonomous_transaction;
    begin
      select *
      into   test_trg_pkg.test_tab(test_trg_pkg.test_tab.COUNT+1)
      from   test

    end;
    create or replace trigger test_ads after delete on test

        insert into test_backup values test_trg_pkg.test_tab(i);
      end loop;
    end;
    SQL> delete from test where a=1;
    1 row deleted.
    SQL> select * from test_backup;
