How to put Images at runtime in Adobe form.

Hi All,
I have a simple query but got confused finding a note related to this, so need your suggestion to address this issue.
We developed several Adobe Non interactive forms using ADLC 8.2.3 in CRM 7.0 ADS 7.0 Adobe reader 10.X.
The forms have multiple master pages with embedded images, the form increases to multiple pages based on the data.
The form is not heavy but to increase performance we thought of putting the images in MIME repository and fetch them at runtime.
while searching for this we found SAP Note: 0001249492 which says due to improved security features dynamic images are not supported from Adobe Reader 8.1 on wards and the images are to be embeded at design time.
This note is published in 2009 Can somebody confim me if this is still applicable and we sud go with design time images only.
If we can still use runtime images please give me some steps or document how to acheive this.

I am not able to get the data in the adobe form from an internal table.
I need to put the data in individual fields in the adobe form.
I'm working on Adobe Interactive form developed in WDP ABAP.( I have successfully config the ADS in my server.)
Action:
1. There are 1 table in the Adobe Interactive form((Adobeform)created by the 'sfp' t-code.
a) create a interface with a structure(A_STRU).
b) create a form with the interface.
c) In the layout of the form, drag a table to the form.
d) Binding the table to the A_STRU.
e) Binding the fields of the table to the fields of the structure.
2. Create a view -
first_view in the WDP ABAP.
3. In the first_view, there is a Interactiveform ( named "adobe_form" ) to be binding the Adobe Interactive form (Adobeform).
4. Type the code in the wddoinit of the first_view for bindding the internal table to context of the adobe interface.
DATA lo_nd_z_php_form_pay TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
DATA lo_nd_g_context TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
DATA lo_el_g_context TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
DATA ls_g_context TYPE wd_this->element_g_context.
navigate from <CONTEXT> to <Z_PHP_FORM_PAY> via lead selection
lo_nd_z_php_form_pay = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_z_php_form_pay ).
g_context is the context interface of the adobe form.
navigate from <Z_PHP_FORM_PAY> to <G_CONTAIN> via lead selection
lo_nd_g_context = lo_nd_z_php_form_pay->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_g_context ).
binding the g_context to the form context.
lo_nd_g_context->bind_table( result_payslip ).
through the debug the program, I found 50 records in the result_payslip internal * * table .
5. run the wda, I find the nothing data to be displayed in the adobe form.
6. But I can transfer a string parameter from wda to adobe form. I don't know how to transfer data in the table?
I don't know how to config the table in the adobe form?

I Am putting data from internal table into Adobe form using ABAP web dynapro.
I am not able to see data in Adobe form though inernal table contains 14 records.
Also, i have been thr' WDR_TEST_ADOBE
but still not able to solve problem .

How to bring status icons in the Adobe Form.

Hi Experts,
I am new to Adobe forms and I need to bring a icon indicating the satus ( For example green icon shoud be displayed if the values exceed our expection ) . Currently if I try to bring an icon in the form it is just displaying the text value corresponding to the icon even though the icon is of data type ICONTEXT (For Example:Instead of displaying a icon in green it just displaying the corresponding text values like '@@4' ) . When we try to display the same icon in the table view it is displayed in a form of image.
Kindly let me know how to bring status icon in the adobe forms.

Hi,
The ADS will not understand this as an icon and create it on the PDF. If you want to insert an icon in the
PDF you should insert it as an image in the Designer.

How to change the Field Symbol, so Adobe Forms takes it as a Table?

Hi guys,
I created an Field Symbol, in a Interface which I use for Adobe Forms. The type of the Field Symbol is STANDARD TABLE, and this field symbol I fill with data from another program.
But the problem is that in adobe forms, this Field Symbol is taken as TEXT FIELD and not as Table... and this shows me a Dump because it can't convert Internal Table to type C (the dump is like that).
What I need, is how to change the Field Symbol, so Adobe Forms takes it as a Table?
I looked at Adobe Form, and found this:
The Type Category of the Field Symbol is DICTIONARY TYPE and I think I need to change it to Internal Table as shown in the right picture.
Does someone have any idea?

To what i understand your requirement, you need to pass data from Field symbol to internal table in Adobe form.
You have done it correct partially. I have replicated your scenario and steps are below -
1) Create a Z structure
2) Create Z Table Type
3) Create Adobe Interface with Table & Field Symbol. Also do coding as shown to assign the internal table populated in driver program to filed symbol.
4) Design Form as -

But you could pass the user-agent as incoming claim type Client User agent. User-agents can be manipulated, so if that is an issue you can look into Device Registration and the Device OS type from there. That is also a incoming claim but requires DRS and
DRS is not available for all plattforms.

How to SAVE the images in the offline adobe form pdf

Hi All,
Actually I am working offline adobe forms.In my one of the requirement user want to upload the images in the final output pdf form. For this requirement I added Image Field in the layout. So, now I am able to upload the images from desktop but I am unable to save the uploaded images in the pdf form.
Please let me know is there any parameters need to pass for this requirement.

How to put images on buttons?

I am currently working a project and need to mount an image onto a button, so when the image is clicked on it makes the button event work?

set icons? , do i have to have the image in the same
folder as where the code is saved? I have not been
able to find any code showing how to apply images
onto buttons on a GUI.Did you atleast read reply 2 and 4?Have you ever read the JButton API?There's no necessity that the image has to be in the same folder.You use have to specify the absolute path of the image when you create an instance representing it.

I want to put images on graph whereever I want.
I have TDMS file like this.
My "x Axis" is (km) and "y axis" is MKTY. If MKTY is 3 I want to put image3 on graph places in the y-axis. If MKTY is 2 then I put "image2" on graph.

For me, not. But yes I have to do this. Maybe I manual have a table which includes the y axis coordinates. X axis is dicrete then when I get the value 2 I will look at its y axis and take the coordinates of the y-axis corresponds to the table

Problems with Image Field Table in Adobe Forms

Hello,
I have a desgined a Adobe Form(Print Only) in the Adobe Desinger in NWDS.
The form layout contains a table of images in 2 columns and 3 rows. Every Column has a Image Field and a TextField displaying the Image URL.
The URL of this image is passed at runtime.
The problem is that when the form is rendered, All the Columns have the same image which is the URL in the first row first column. However the text field displays the correct URL.
Is this some known bug in the Adobe Forms, or I am missing some property.

The solution was to put the following code in the initialize event of the image field.
this.value.image.href = <Photoimagepath>.rawValue;
Where <Photoimagepath> is the image path.

One of the very few options you have is loading them all into the form as embedded images, and then dynamically making the visible and hidden depending on your conditions.
Dynamic loading of images (from a URL or remote location) was completely removed from Interactive Forms a while ago as it was deemed insecure. (and it is)
The second option is loading them all into your SAP system and then making a webservice which you call with a trigger to return you the binary form of the image, which you can read by creating the correct type in the Context.

How to find standard print programs for ADOBE forms

Hi All,
My question is how to find the standard SAP print program for a SAP provided ADOBE form. For example - how to find what is the satndard SAP provided print program for the ADOBE form for payment advice 'F110_AVIS_INT'.
As by default in the transaction F110 (where the payment advice form configuration is done), a SAP Script form is attached and the print program assigned is an SAP Script (as it contains call to function module like open_form, write_form... ) program and not an ADOBE print program.

My question was how to find the standard SAP provided print program (or driver program which contains the data fetch logic and passing of the data to the interface of the ADOBE form) for these SAP provided ADOBE form.
If SAP has provided standard ADOBE form then definitely they would also have provided the standard print program too ?

The path system --> Status --> program SAPLFPUIFB is the standard program for the SFP transaction and not for the payment advice form F110_AVIS_INT.
It will be same for all the ADOBE forms if we check in System --> Status --> Program.

 Displays the total number of pages for the currently processed form. This allows you to include texts such as'Page x of y' into your output

 Contains the total page number of all forms in the currently processed print request.
