how can i put the column name and variable value in the alert message text. i want to display an alert which tell the user about the empty textboxes. that these textboxes must be filled.

The name of the item that fires the current trigger is stored in the :SYSTEM.TRIGGER_ITEM system variable.
The value contained in this item can be retrived with the Name_In() built-in

According to HTTP, multiple query or post parameters with the
same name and different values are permitted. They are transfered
over the wire in the following format -
name1=val1&name1=val2&name1=val3
The problem is that I can't see anyway of assigning multiple
parameters with the same name and different values to the request
object of mx.rpc.http.HTTPService. I have tried using the
flash.utils.Dictionary object as it does strict key comparison but
that doesn't work too. I have tried setting an array of values to a
property of the request object but that sends the request to the
server in the following format -
name1=val1,val2,val3
The java servlet engines throw exceptions when they see this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do I put the file name and path into either the header or the footer?

I need to keep track of pdf documents as their names or locations sometimes change. I need to show both file name and path, preferably in the header. I would also like it to refresh automatically when I change, say, the file name, but that's not as essential as the basic function of showing the file name and path.

I am using Visual Studio C++ to connect and query an Oracle database using SQL commands. My code works, but I don't fully understand it because I'm new to Oracle and it is modified example code.
I need to obtain column names and types for a known table. The "Describe" SQL command fails when I call ->Execute, claiming this is an invalid SQL statement, although the same statement works when sent directly via sqlplus.

Desc isn't really a SQL command. Rather its a command specific to Oracle. Thats why it will work in SQLPlus and not anywhere else. If you want the column information for a table you can user either the user_tab_columns or all_tab_columns, depending on which schema the table is in. The query would look like:
select * from all_tab_columns where table_name = 'BONUS'

I am using dynamic selections for a HR report.
I have created a view with 20 fields and added it to HR report category ___00003(All fields suppressed).
I need to check these fields in the program. But i am not able to get the field name and value in the program for dynamic selections fields.
Please let me know how to get the field names and values in the program for dynamic selections .

You have to read the itab pnpdynse in your Program to obtain the Dynamic Selection values. This itab has a deep structure.. you can set a break point in one of the events before get pernr & in the debug mode, you will able to display the itab pnpdynse.. you can then identify how to get the values into your code..

How to put whitespace in launchd.conf variable values

Working on a Mavericks, I'm trying to set global environment variable available in the terminal, spotlight and any GUI application.
To do so, I want to use launchd.conf to set my environment variables. I have been able to set some variables, until I wanted to put a whitespace in the variable values. Here is the content of my launchd.conf:
setenv MYVAR2 "my var"
setenv MYVAR3 "myvar"
setenv MYVAR4 "my\ var"
setenv MYVAR5 my var
setenv MYVAR6 myvar
setenv MYVAR7 my\ var
Then, here i what I tried in my terminal:

launchctl setenv MYVAR2 my var
launchctl setenv MYVAR3 myvar
launchctl setenv MYVAR4 my\ var

As you can see, all the variable containing a whitespace (even escaped with a backslash) are purely ignored. And I need to have several variables with whitespace inside.
Instead of the "grep" command, I rebooted my mac, but the result is the same.
Is there any workaround or solution for this issue ?

Then this:
launchctl getenv MYVAR2
and you get nothing? You relaunch Terminal and run
echo $MYVAR2
and get nothing?

I have created a FMS query to pick the G/L account name in the payment voucher,But the name which i got through the FMS in an UDF is not coming properly.It comes only if am manually entering Shift+F2 in that field.
Pls give me a suggestion for that.
