Anybody know, how to open any microsoft office files (excel, powerpoint, word) in nokia nuron 5230. I would like to edit office files into phone using any mobile office application.

To be able to edit files you need to purchase an additional application.
Quickoffice is the app you need and it's available here:
http://www.quickoffice.com/quickoffice_symbian/
It may also be available in the ovi store.

Hi,
Use JDeveloper to import the mwp project .In Jdeveloper,File->Import->ToplinkWorkbench->Select the .mwp file and can work from JDeveloper in editing the tlmap.xml and session.xml.

I have download NewtonSoft.json version 5.0.8.
So, I am able to convert input data into json format, but how can I able to write and read this data from a json/text file.

Should I use StreamTokenizer, StringTokenizer, or the oro RegEx packages?
What is the best?
I have a file that has several lines of data that is double-quoted and comma delimited like:
"asdfadsf", "asdfasdfasfd", "asdfasdfasdf", "asdfasdf"

You need to install Google on your computer. That way, you can search for all the information on that algorithm available on the Internet.

Every time I try and download a microsoft office file, I get an error saying: Windows cannot find 'C:\Users\Tara\Appdata\Local\Temp\*FILENAME*. This happens will all Office files. Suggestions for fixing this?

I choose download when asked what to do with the file.

Try removing the archive file from Outlook, rename it and then readd, then restart Outlook and see if the error goes away.

How to open and edit "*.txt" file with "Notepad"

Hello guys!
I'm facing problem with SharePoint 2010 Enterprise and got no clue how to solve it.
What I want to do is to open "*.txt" (which is placed to "Documents Library") in "Notepad", so I could edit it and save (publish) directly to SharePoint from "Notepad".
If I upload any Microsoft office File, such as "*.docx", "*.xls", etc - it works as it should - document opens in appropriate application and everybody is happy.
But, when I create documents library, put some "*.txt" file there and click on it - it opens in new browser's tab as text, so I cannot edit the file.
What I tried to do is to activate feature "Open Documents in Client Applications by Default" - not happy.
Edit "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\XML\DOCICON.XML" - I've modified "txt" entry as follows:

<DocIcons>
    <ByProgID>
    </ByProgID>

I would like to know if it is possible to read and edit the same pdf file using Java. ie my PDF file named "Sample.pdf" has contents like
First Name = &F_NAME
Last Name =&L_NAME
what I want is to parse the Sample.pdf file and look for &F_NAME and replace it with "Jacob" and &L_NAME and replace it with "Abraham" so that the contents within that pdf file look like
First Name = Jacob
Last Name =Abraham

Reading and writing to a text file from an Applet

I'm a novice java programming with very little formal programming training. I've pieced together enough knowledge to do what I've wanted to do so far...
However, I've been unable to figure out how to read and write to a text file from an Applet (I can do it from a normal java program just fine). Here is a simple example of what I'd like to do (you can also look at it on my website: www.stat.colostate.edu/~leach/test02/test02.html). I know that there is some problem with permission/security but I'm not smart enough to understand what the error messages are telling or understand the few books I have. If anyone can tell me how to get this applet to work, or direct me to some referrences that would help me out I'd really appreciate it.

I have almost the exact same problem, and I am in the same situation as you are with respects to the language.
I am simply trying to create a file and output some garbage to it but my applet always spits back a security violation. I've tried eliminating the restrictions on the applet runner I use but I still get the error.

Whenever I select Word Microsoft Setup Assistant appears, asks for feedback, then after selecting okay (both on saying yes or no to feedback) goes on to a registration page. When I click on this it says I've already registered so I just click okay, and then move on to a update page. After this, if I click on Word, the process repeats itself.
As I said, I don't have the disk to reinstall, and can't find the Office Settings to delete as many pages have suggested I should try. Safe Boot restarting also hasn't worked... Really stuck and need Word very soon for work.
If you can help, that would be great, and feel free to ask any questions about the situation as I'm not an expert here.

First, export your contact from iCloud.com and save them on your computer in a safe spot some where (like you desktop). Use this to help you do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3606
Next, on both of your devices, go to Settings > iCloud and turn on contacts and select Merge. Then turn off contacts and select 'Delete form my [device]' when prompted.
Now go back to iCloud.com and select a contact (yes they will all be messed up again) and select Command+A on a Mac or Control+A on a PC to select all of the contacts. Tap the delete key on your keyboard (or right click /control click a contact and select delete).
You iPhone, iPad and iCloud.com should not be empty for contacts.
Go back to Settings > iCloud on both devices and turn on contacts again (you should not see merge this time).
Next, go back to iCloud.com and import your contacts (those exported .vcards). You can either drag and drop them into the empty contacts list in your web browser, or you can use the gear icon to import.
You cleaned up contacts should import correctly into iCloud.com and sync to both of your devices.

As taken from the [iPhone user manual|http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/iPhoneUserGuide.pdf]:
You can view attachments in both portrait and landscape orientation. If the format of an attached file isn’t supported by iPhone, you can see the name of the file but you can’t open it. iPhone supports the following email attachment file formats: .doc, .docx, .htm, .html, .pdf, .txt, .xls, .xlsx
At this time, there is no way to edit documents on the iPhone.
