  • How to read JMS message properties from BPEL or BPMN process

    Hi all,
    I have a JMS Adapter that consumes messages from a remote ActiveMQ queue and I don't find the way the get the properties of the JMS message as I would like to map them in BPEL or BPMN process variable. I only manage to get the content of the message.
    I've also read that if using a MapMessage, one of the map entry can be mapped directly and that the other map entries go to jca.jms.Map.xxxx where xxxx is key of the map entry.
    But how can I map those "jca.jms.Map.xxxx" properties on process variables ? and how to map JMS Properties (that seem to be mapped on jca.jms.JMSProperty.xxxx) to process variables ?
    I use SOA Suite version : 11.1.1.4.0
    Thanks for your help

    Hi Vijay,
    You can try this piece of code too:
    Properties props = new Properties();
    //try retrieve data from file
    //catch exception in case properties file does not exist
    try {
             props.load(new FileInputStream("c:\property\Test.properties")); //File location
             String serverName = props.getProperty("servername"); //Similarly, you can access the other properties
             if(serverName==null)
               //....do appropriate handling
         }     catch(IOException e)
                   e.printStackTrace();

    I think i have mixed it up :)
    I have looked at it again and believe you are using regular JSP portlets.
    Can you tell what you want to achieve by reading .properties file. Are you meaning the preferences of the portlet or what exactly are you trying to do?
    Reading propertie files is easy:
    // Read properties file.
    Properties properties = new Properties();
    try {
        properties.load(new FileInputStream("filename.properties"));
        String myKey = properties.getProperty("yourKey");
    } catch (IOException e) {

  • How  to Set JMS property and Read JMS property in BPEL using JMS adapter

    Does any one know how to set or read more than one JMS property in BPEL using JMS adapter. My queue server is Oracle JMS server.
    Any help and sample is well appreciated

    Hi Van
    I have noted that only the attribute "type" is missing. It seems that when you create a "string" property, the attribute "type" is droped from the XML. If you use another type (as "integer" or "double") it stays there.
    If you try to read your properties, except for the "type" attribute, you should be successful, as I am. If you need, please tell me your email, I can send you my code.

  • How to read a properties file

    hi
    I have a properties file.
    I am using load method to load the properties file but i have encountered a problem here.
    the properties file has space like
    FIRST PROP=xyz
    SECOND PROP=abc
    my question is how to read the file
    thank u

    Either format it properly--I think a \ before the space will work--or write your own method to use in place of Properties.load.
    (Or, I suppose, you could inject your own InputStram that translates the lines on the fly to include the \, but that would probably be more trouble than it's worth.)

  • (Urgent) How to read file properties with virtual path?

    I have the data.properties file, and write a servlet file to read properties from this properties file. But I get a problem, that is: I CANNOT USE VIRTUAL PATH!
    How can I solve?
    My Application Directory is,

    loadProperties.class
    data.properties
    More Question,
    I can use Context in Web.xml to assign values to parameters. But its will be shown. How can I hide value with a properties file?

    This is not working.
    I am using Tomcat 4.0.6, for my JSP application I am trying to read ini.properties file from \webapps\myapp\WEB-INF\classes\common\
    directory through java bean.
    System.getProperty("user.dir")
    is giving <tomcat-home>\bin directory.
    unless I hard code the path this way, I could couldn't read the ini file.

    String strIniFilePath = <webappPath> + "\\WEB-INF\\Classes\\Offenders\\Common\\";
    props.load( new FileInputStream(strPropsFile));

  • How to read image file in bpel..

    i want to pick up image files of format .jpg & .png in bpel..
    Thanks...

    Hi,
    Ok, got your flow. I'd recommend start small and simple.
    Receive
    Assign
    Invoke - Invoke File adapter using Synchronous Read Operation (Normal Read operation will not work in the middle of process) with Opaque schema and by specifying the exact file name.
    I think you can't specify the file name as regular expression in Sync Read operation.
    Also follow the below link for more details on how to achieve your requirement.

    You could create a variable base64Binary and assign the content of the ora:getAttachmentContent() return value. And then write to a file using the option "Native format translation is not required (Schema is opaque)" from the file adapter and assign to the opaque element.

  • How to Check JMS Queue in BPEL

    Hi All,
    we have a case where SOA shows message is successfully sent to TIBCO, But it is not available in TIBCO queues.
    We have the property file used by BPEL for different instances and the JMS queue mentioned are different for different instances.
    So how to check to which TIBCO queue SOA sent message through BPEL.
    Rgds,

    Based on the JNDI look up used, you can determine the instance. Iam not sure this is the right way but you can try this.

  • How to read xml elements in Bpel

    Hi,
    I had created an empty Bpel Process and configured file adapter to a directory, In my text file i have 3 records with four columns, each column seperated by ',' and each record seperated by "EOL(end of line)", Below is the xsd file generated by the native format xsd builder, taken a recieve activity to recieve the contents of file from file adapter.
    So all the data which is in the file will be there in recieve activity.
    FileContents
    55555,rgfdgsd,gfdgfdg,23
    66666,retretret,trtertg,21
    77777,rtrttreter,trtter,23
    My Question is
    I want to compare whether value of C1 = '55555' and if the value is equal to 55555 then that record with c1=55555 has to be inserted into database
    How to compare the value of c1 through bpel functions.
    with java i have to use the logic similar to this by using Xpath
    getElement by tagname(c1);- it will give all the elements with tagname c1, three records are there with tagname c1 (c1=55555,c1=66666,c1=77777), we have to iterate through the elemnts and check whether the value iof c1='55555' and get the whole parent block which contains values of c1,c2,c3,c4 and insert that to database
    What variables we have to use to get the Similar logic in bpel
