How to read LV 7.1 eaxmple codes with 6.1 ?

I'd like to look at one the example vi posted in NI's web.
But it is coded by version7.1.

    I want to finish webdynpro for abap program to read some photos from file system. I may make MIMES in the webdynpro component and create photos in the MIMES, but my boss doesn't agree with me using this way. He wish me read these photos from file system.
    How to read some images from file system with webdynpro for abap?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hello Tao,
    The parameter
       icm/HTTP/file_access_<xx>
    may help you to access the pictures without any db-access.
    The following two links may help you to understand the other possibilities as well.
    The threads are covering BSP, but it should be useful for WebDynpro as well.

    Hi,
    Please have a look at this article:

  • How do i run this peice of code with out executing the PROC

    I have the following code which i want to run but not a a Pocedure.
    I know its always better to runa PROC but this is for test purpose so the only target is to run it by part or somehow but with out the need to create or execute a procedure

    WHERE sequence_num = arrec.sequence_num;
    END LOOP;
    COMMIT;
    END temp_account_salary_archive_proc;
    I need to know which parts of this code is to be executed if i want to run the process with out the help of Stored Procedure

    Sorry for not mentioning earlier sir. It is Oracle 10g.
    And the DATEDIFF function I am using is a user defined function which i created.Ok, i apologize ... thanks for the clarification.
    The code as you've posted is not something i'd want to run on any volume of data. It will be horribly slow (looping is the slowest method to perform a SQL operation in Oracle).
    Much faster would be to simply
    INSERT --+ APPEND
    INTO north.account_salary_archive
    SELECT *
    FROM north.account_salaries
    WHERE sequence_num in
       SELECT
          sequence_num

    DELETE FROM north.account_salaries
    WHERE sequence_num IN
       SELECT
          sequence_num
       FROM north.account_offer
       WHERE north.datediff ('mm', hire_date, SYSDATE) > 3
    );2 fast SQL statements (fast being a relative term, this will depend on the number of rows you need to play around with here).
    Even faster would be partition exchanges (if you have partitioning on this table).
    If you notice, i put an APPEND hint in the INSERT statement. Please read about it in the documentation and determine if you meet the restrictions to use it or not. If you do that will increase the performance of your INSERT.
    I would also try to remove the custom function you created (DateDiff) and replace that with the logic required (is the function horribly complex?). Calling functions/procedures (custom created) places a good deal of overhead on SQL operations.

  • How to read the param in an URL with an applet???

    I will like to read the in an URL with an applet param (after the ?)
    I need the equivalent of: String parm1 = request.getParameter("param"); but for applet

    Hi
    What you can do is, just get that URL in the web page. Like as we can get in the ASP. Store the required information in the variables and pass this information as parameters to the applet.
    Hope this helps!

  • How to read csv Data and save it with no format changes

    Hi,
    At first I am not used to Diadem.
    I want to read in a csv file do some calculation with the data and save the changed data in the same csv file. A file as an example is attached (496888_edit.csv).
    Therefore I wrote this lines:
    Dim i
    Dim Delimiter
    Dim FilePath
    Dim FileParameters
    Delimiter = ";"
    Call DataFileLoad(FilePath,"CSV","Load")
    ' Do some calculations
    FileParameters = "<filename>"&FilePath&"</filename>"&"<delimiter>"&Delimiter&"</delimiter>"
    Call DataFileSave(FileParameters,"CSV")
    After running that lines the csv file is looking like the other attached file (496888_after.csv)
    Because of some reasons which I could not explain Diadem is rounding the numbers. I want that both files look the same.
    What can I do?
    There might be another extension. Just to read in some columns, doing some calculations and after the calculation saving that columns in the file instead of the originals. (The csv files are much bigger like the two examples)
    Thanks,
    Jens

    The only thing that can be changed in writing float64 values using the CSV plugin is the decimal point ('.' or ',').
    The format of the doubles is not rounded but the CSV writer only writes the relevant digits.
    It is using up to 15 digits which is the resolution of float 64. It would also switch to scintific writing if necessary.
    So there is no way to force only 6 digits and filling 0s are left out. So if you just fear that you loose precision that will not happen.
    (only the typical problems of epressing a 2 system binary value in a 10 system text string)
    If you are interested to have a fix float format the only solution is to write with VBS directly to a file doing formatting on your own, which is slow.

    in between i found out that the my png and jpeg test images did not have an alpha channel, since the tool i used to create them, did not write the alpha channel to disk.
    if i use png with alpha channel, then the read works correktly with ImageIO.read()
    however the read problem still remains for gifs and the write does not work for gifs and neither for pngs.
    whether jpegs can be read with alphachannel i don't know since i don't have a tool to create jpeg with alpha channel. (at least gimp and corel9 are not able to )
    and it is not possible to write the previous read png with alpha channel back as and jpeg with alpha channel

    I want to read config\databaseproperties.xml file in src\database\ConnectionManager.java file.

    place the *.jrxml files in your war (e.g. WEB-INF\classes\report.jrxml) and then in your servlet:
    JasperReport report = JasperCompileManager.compileReport("report.jrxml");

  • How to read the Java source code (in Netbeans)

    I use OS X10.5.5, NetBeans 6.1 and JSE 6 on a 64 bit mac.
    When I downloaded NB6.1 it had JSE 5 as it's default (and only) java platform. I ran Software Update to get Java 6 from Apple, used the Java Prefrences utitlity to set JSE6 as default. In NB I added the JDK6 platform, registered the JDK6 javadocs and noticed that I also have the option of registering the Java source code.
    I have three questions:
    1) How do I make JDK6 the default in NetBeans. The JDK5 keeps being default after I did the steps above and I don't see anywhere to change that.
    2) How do I read the Java 6 source code? I can see sun provides [source code| http://download.java.net/jdk6/] for their supported platforms. I dont see Apple doing the same for its JDK port. What would I need to do to get to read the java SE6 sources? or is it actually hiding somewhere in the /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Home hierarchy?
    3) Where does the JVM look for the binary code to run when I make a call to, say java.util.ArrayList or any other library. In my naivety I would have assumed it would be a .class file somewhere in the java Home folder, but I don't see anything like it.
    thanks in advance,
    chris

    This is taken from the help included with netbeans. In response to question 1.
    By default, the IDE uses the version of the Java SE platform (JDK) with which the IDE runs as the default Java platform
    for compilation, execution, and debugging. You can view your IDE's JDK version by choosing Help > About and clicking the
    Detail tab. The JDK version is listed in the Java field.
    You can run the IDE with a different JDK version by starting the IDE with the --jdkhome jdk-home-dir switch on the command line
    or in your IDE-HOME/etc/netbeans.conf file. For more information, see IDE Startup Parameters.
    In the IDE, you can register multiple Java platforms and attach Javadoc and source code to each platform. For example, if you
    want to work with the new features introduced in JDK 5.0, you would either run the IDE on JDK 5.0 or register JDK 5.0 as a
    platform and attach the source code and Javadoc to the platform.
    In  , you can switch the target JDK in the Project Properties dialog box. In  , you have to set the target JDK in the Ant script itself,
    then specify the source/binary format in the Project Properties dialog box.
    To register a new Java platform:
    Choose Tools > Java Platforms from the main window.
    Click New Platform and select the directory that contains the Java platform. Java platform directories are marked with a
    in the file chooser.
    Use the Sources and Javadoc tabs to attach Javadoc documentation and source code for debugging to the platform.
    Click Close.
    To set the default Java platform for a standard project:
    Right-click the project's root node in the Projects window and choose Properties.
    In the Project Properties dialog box, select the Libraries node in the left pane.
    Choose the desired Java platform in the Java Platform combo box.
    Switching the target JDK for a standard project does the following:
    Offers the new target JDK's classes for code completion.
    If available, displays the target JDK's source code and Javadoc documentation.
    Uses the target JDK's executables (javac and java) to compile and execute your application.
    Compiles your source code against the target JDK's libraries.
    If you want to register additional Java platforms with the IDE, you can do so by clicking the Manage Platforms button.
    Then click the Add Platform button and navigate to the desired platform.
    To set the target Java platform for a free-form project:
    In your Ant script, set the target JDK as desired in the javac, java, and javadoc tasks.
    Right-click the project's root node in the Projects window and choose Properties.
    In the Sources panel, set the level of JDK you want your application to be run on in the Source/Binary Format combo box.
    When you access Javadoc or source code for JDK classes, the IDE searches the Java platforms registered in the
    Java Platform Manager for a platform with a matching version number. If no matching platform is found, the IDE's default platform is used instead.

    The Time Machines Backup is formated as Mac OS Extended (Case Sensitive, Journaled), my mac is formated as Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
    The names on the file are all Uppercase
    When I try to copy the Aperture file, it copies about 70% of the file (it's about 33GB in size), and halfway through I get this error.
    I'm able to copy 99.99% of all of the images if I open the Aperture Folder using the "show package contents" under the backups using finder (Time Machine Backups>Backups.backupdb>CQ Macbook Air>2012-04-30-070933>HD.....>Pictures>Aperture Library). The only file I can't copy is that picture, which I'm totally ok with deleting, but Finder won't delete it for me. If nothing else works, I could copy the individual masters and re-create the folders, however I'd hate to do this as I would have to go through 10,000+ pics

  • How to Read and Generate XML file from java code.

    hi guys,
    how to read the xml file (Condition :we know only DTD or Shema only).
    How to Generate the new xml file ?(using Shema )
    And one more how directly Generate the xml from DB?
    Pleas with code or any URL

    Using XMLbeans you can generate Java objects from an XSD schema (perhaps DTDs aswell)
    Then you can create an instance of the Document object and ask it to write itself.
    This will create an XML document complient to the schema.
    XMLBeans generates a "type" safe DOM where you can only ever have a structure compilent to you schema.
