How to read tdms groups properties

Hello,
I write a tdms with 5 groups and some channel names (1D array) on each group.
It's possible to read tdms in order to have for each waveforms the relative channel name?
thank you very much

Hello,
I have a write TDMS like attach.
I need to read TDMS to reproduce for each Dynamic Data Type waveform (see the name in red circle on attach) the channel names I wrote in TDMS groups.
thanks

    REGARDS,
    RaHuLYou do know that you can throw out of the catch block without "short-circuiting" the finally block, right? Making the declaration of e completely foolish. (Unless you actually want to do something after the try/catch block, of course.) And, if all you're going to do is throw the exception anyway, why bother catching it?

  • How to read JMS message properties from BPEL or BPMN process

    Hi all,
    I have a JMS Adapter that consumes messages from a remote ActiveMQ queue and I don't find the way the get the properties of the JMS message as I would like to map them in BPEL or BPMN process variable. I only manage to get the content of the message.
    I've also read that if using a MapMessage, one of the map entry can be mapped directly and that the other map entries go to jca.jms.Map.xxxx where xxxx is key of the map entry.
    But how can I map those "jca.jms.Map.xxxx" properties on process variables ? and how to map JMS Properties (that seem to be mapped on jca.jms.JMSProperty.xxxx) to process variables ?
    I use SOA Suite version : 11.1.1.4.0

  • How to Read TDMS Files in Matlab in OSX

    Using the example found on the NI website (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/0EEADA99DC7D00A4862572E30037C3A2), I am able to read my TDMS files into Matlab when using a PC.  However, when I try to read them on my Mac, I receive an error:
    ??? There was an error loading the library "/Applications/MATLAB75/work/TDMS_files/dev/bin/nilibddc.so"
    Error using ==> loaddefinedlibrary
    dlopen(/Applications/MATLAB75/work/TDMS_files/dev/bin/nilibddc.so, 1): image not found
    Error in ==> read_tdms at 21
    loadlibrary(DLL_Path, H_Path);
     My best guess for this error is the fact that Matlab operates through a Linux interface on Mac, which I found will open the file type .so and not .dll for this type of library.  Is there some way to get around this in OSX and get it to read the .dll files?  Or is there some way to get the libraries as .so files instead of .dll files?
    Thanks for any help!
    -Shelby

    Shelby,
    You may wish to look at a Matlab script another user wrote since they were having issues with NI's matlab support:
    http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&view=by_date_ascending&message.id=318487#M318487
    The script supposedly converts TDMS files directly in Matlab with no use of NI generated external DLLs.  He was having issues because the NI tools hadn't been updated for the new version of Matlab.

  • How to read TDMS file use DDC_GetDataValuesString in C language.

    1. Below code is correct, because the numDataValues is one, machine=sibot
    char ss[10]={0};
        char *strMachine=new char[1];
        *strMachine=ss[10];
        nullChk (strMachine = (char *) malloc (sizeof (char) * (unsigned int)numDataValues));
        ddcChk (DDC_GetDataValuesString (channels[i], 0, (unsigned int)numDataValues, &strMachine));
        printf ("Channel value for Machine : %s\n", strMachine);
    ---then show "nel value for Machine : sibot"
    2. But when the numDataValues is more one, I can't get all the data in the TDMS file, only can get the first one.
    eg:
    data one is FI,
    data two is O
    but I only can get FI....
    what's wrong?? How to solve it?? The data format as attachment.

    Hi KittyDeng,
    I guess the problem is from here:
    char *strMachine=new char[1];
    You allocated a char array of only 1 element which will not hold as many chars.
    The best way to solve the problem is to allocate more memory than that of the data, where in your case, you can write:
    char *strMachine=new char[20];//or set more than 20
    Hope this helps.

  • How to check which administrator had modified the AD Group properties

    Dear Sir,
    Some one had modified a Distribution group (removed email address). I checked it in group properties and last modified was on 22/09/14. How to find which administrator had modified.
    I dont have access to domain controller. Is there any way to find it?
    thanks in advance.
    Karan

    Hello,
    this will be logged on DCs and also auditing must be configured correct that this will show up in the event viewer from a DC.
    Without access to the DC contact your administrators and let them find out.

  • I changed my wheel group properties to no access at top disk level.  I messed up, how can I change back in single user mode "command s" as I am now in Thailand and not able to access startup disks?

    I messed up, I changed my "Wheel group" properties to No Access ( or something other than the default) at the top level of my startup disk "Macintosh HD".   Now my computer won't start up, I just get the spinning wheel of death.    I also am in Thailand right now, so I cannot go to a Genius at an apple store, nor do I have startup disks available.
    So I was hoping there was a way to change back the properties of my disk (Volume) in single user mode (via Command +s) during startup, i.e. can I do a chmod command on the Macintosh HD listing under the Volume Directory.    Or where do i fix this?   Is it fixable without startup disks, etc...
    THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!!!
    If you could also please let me know you have an answer, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!
    thanks so much

    <Edited by Host>

    Thomas,
    Thanks for the info on command-R, didn't know about that!!!
    Yes I changed the sharing "Wheel Group" permissions on my hard drive via Get Info.    But that's all I did.    And then most of the apps wouldn't respond with anything.    So not knowing I did something stupid, I decided to re-boot, and then nothing but the Wheel of Death at startup.
    I was trying to limit access to my computer on this network, changed my public folder settings, and then I thought why not the whole hard drive, but at that time I had no idea what the "Wheel Group" was... so I shouldn't have touched it, BUT IT DID ...... argggggg....
    I managed to go to an internet cafe & research the problem yesterday.    I used the command +s single mode to get in, and then did the necessary steps to mount the drive so I could make changes.   I basically did this:
    Boot into single-user mode (boot while holding down CMD-S)
    Follow the on-screen instructions to mount the file system as read-write (a fsck command followed by a mount command)
    Type the following: "chmod o+r /" followed by "chmod o+x /"
    Type "exit" to leave single user mode and complete the boot sequence.
    I found it at this link http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=416180
    It worked... thank God!!!   Well so far so good.
    I was going to try my own fix by chmod on the Hard drive listed under Volumes directory, but that doesn't seem to match the info under Get Info Window.    So I just used the fix above.    I probably should now go and do "Disk Utility - repair permissions", however I am a little gun shy right now, so I will probably wait until I am back in the States so I can go to an Apple store if it messes up.   Right now I'm following the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" MOTTO...
    So Thomas I just wanted to say THANKS for replying so quickly, and I really appreciate your help!!!
    (yes I know I shouldn't have used my email addresses, but I WAS DESPERATE, but that's still no excuse)
    Hopefully maybe this thread will help someone else out in the future....
    Okay, thanks again!

  • How to read Group ID from Value Mapping Context in Cache Monitoring ?

    Hi friends,
        In RWB --> Cache Monitoring --> Integration Server (Java) -> (Search for Value Mapping Groups) in this each item is identified by Value Mapping Group (GroupID, Context, Identifier/Agency, Identifier/Scheme). Either we create Value Mapping Table in ID or replicate value mapping data directly from text file/SAP table etc., in run time cache, data will be identified in this manner.
        Now, our requirement is to delete a record the Cache for a particular context. Two operations provided by XI one is 'Delete' and another one is 'DeleteGroup'. When we use either of this, we should know GroupID. Suppose, I replicated some large amount of data from my text file in Runtime Cache. Value Mapping Table is like that IN --> India, US --> USA, AU --> Australia, EG --> Egypt. Now, I am required to write a program to get the input country code from user which is going to delete in the value mapping table like IN/AU....  For this, what logic we should follow in the program is, First we scan the value mapping table and find the record (country code)  which is match with the input. Then find the GUID value for this record. Now we use the DeleteGroup Operation and pass this GUID and then delete the record.
        So, in essence, how to read the GUID from value mapping context.
        Friends, Kindly help me to do this.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Vijay,
    You can try this piece of code too:
    Properties props = new Properties();
    //try retrieve data from file
    //catch exception in case properties file does not exist
    try {
             props.load(new FileInputStream("c:\property\Test.properties")); //File location
             String serverName = props.getProperty("servername"); //Similarly, you can access the other properties
             if(serverName==null)
               //....do appropriate handling
         }     catch(IOException e)
                   e.printStackTrace();

  • SMS_AD_SECURITY_GROUP_DISCOVERY_AGENT - Active Directory Security Group Discovery Agent reported warnings for 524 object(s). DDRs were generated for 0 object(s) that had warning(s) while reading non-critical properties.

    Hi, can anyone help me troubleshoot the following please:
    Active Directory Security Group Discovery Agent reported warnings for 524 object(s). DDRs were generated for 0 object(s) that had warning(s) while reading non-critical properties. DDRs were not generated for 524 object(s) that had warnings while reading
    critical properties.
    Possible cause: OU name or Security Group name may contain at least a Unicode character which has conversion problem between Unicode and your system ANSI locale(e.g. Korean characters in English System Locale). The site server might not have access to
    some properties of this object. The container specified might not have the properties available.
    Solution: Please verify the Active Directory schema for properties that are not replicated or locked. Refer to the discovery logs for more information.
    Does the error relate to 524 security groups? There are several invalid search paths listed in adsgdis.log, are these related?
    Thanks,
    Dale

    You'll have to examine the log to determine exactly which objects its referring to. Although this is in the context of group discovery, group discovery still creates DDRs for computer objects within those groups so it could be either groups or computers.
    This is not a search path issue though as it's clear that the discovery process found 524 different objects, but as stated, it could not properly read criticial properties of those objects and thus did not create DDRs for them.
    As mentioned, reading the log in detail will list the objects individually and the reason it could not create a DDR for it.
