How to remove data from page after submitting the page?

Hi,
I am using API to create person record.After submitting the create page the data are still
showing on that page.
How to remove data after submitting the page?
Please suggest.

Your solution is perfect if the UIX beans on the page do not have BC4J binding with a VO attribute, otherwise, Sumit's soution is appropriate.

Surely, when you click the search button, the value in your item is required by the report (as a parameter).
Create a button (RESET) with a branch back to the same page and use the clear cache in the branch

How to stay on the same page after submitting the Page to commit the row.

I have a page where I am accepting a ket column from the users , Now I want to have to buttons where user can enter one row and click 'Create & Exit' which would them to the menu. But another button would be 'Create' that would create the row in the table would keep user on the same page , so he/she can enter more rows.
My 'Create & Exit' button has settings in 'Actions when Button Clicked'
Action - Submit Page
Execute Validation - Yes
Database Action - SQL INSERT Action.
My 'Create' button has settings in 'Actions when Button Clicked'

Page - 9 (Same page)

When this didn'tr work
I changed
Set This items - All the variable from the table
With These Values - All the variable from the page
Still this doesn't work.
I very new to APEX application.

Here's an approach:
Delete your existing Create button and then redefine it as a copy of Create & Exit.
Then create two Page Branches, one that branches back to your Menu when the Create & Exit is pressed and another Page Branch that remains on your current page when the Create button is pressed.

Can any one suggest me how to pass data from one form to the other form, which i zoomed from the original one?
I tried to do this by passing parameter in Event Procedure but i am getting error msg when i am opening the zoomed form.

If you choose the second alternative you should erase these global variables after the second form is opened
You can erase the global variable using:

How to send data from internal table to the shared folder in ABAP

Hi experts,
My requirement is to transfer data from a file to shared folder. i just did reading data from a file to a internal table. Now i want to send this internal table data into a shared folder which is "
xxx\y\z....".
I do not have any idea on how to send data from internal table to the shared folder path.
can anybody please help me out how to do this?

Where that folder is located, its on presentation server i.e. desktop or application server.
If its on presentation server, use FM GUI_UPLOAD.
If its on application server, then use DATASET functions. Have a look at below link.

Tou need to do a couple of things
1. On the Essbase server, set up an odbc system connection to your MySQL database
2. In the load rule , go to the file menu and select open SQL data source and in the data source put in your SQL statement . A couple of hints. Where it says Select, don't put in the word select and where it say from don't put in from. The system adds them for you. The easiest way ti enter a SQL statement is to do it all in the select area So if your SQL would normanlly say select * from mytable just enter the code as * from mytable in the select area
The click ol/retrieve and enter in your connection info. Itshould bring data back into the load rule. Save the load rule and use it

How to transfer data from an IFrame to another page

Hi,
I had a search page with a search selection and an interactive report region for the result.
Then, via a button, I submitted the data from the search results to another page (plsql process).
Now we have changed that and the interactive report with the results is located in an own page, this page is 'embedded' in my old Search page within an IFrame.
If I want to use the button to transfer the data --> no data is transferred. I guess this is because the button and the process is not on the new page but in the old search page.
How should I handle that now? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Hi,
You could try moving the process to the report page and have a hidden button on the page as well. Your existing button could call some javascript that does something like:
document.frames("iframe_ID").document.doSubmit("report_page_button_name");I don't use IFRAMEs myself any more as some functionality is not available "for security reasons" in javascript, so the above is just a theory!

How to remove Bean from session upon leaving the web page?

I got the following problem
I promote a user with a Datatable filled with data, each time the user enters the webpage with the table I go the DB and retrieve all relevant data again (so each time the user gets an OnLine representation of the DB)
to archive that I defined the bean that pulls data from DB in Request scope. and it worked well... but now i added an option to export the table into Pdf made by a servlet.... now to be able to get the bean from the servlet i had to change the scope of the Bean to Session Scope... and all works fine.. BUT... now the page not showing OnLine representation of the DB.. cause its only created once , cause its inside Session Scope...
My question is how can I remove the Bean from Session scope upon the user leaving the page (I don't want to remove the bean from session scope on the next called bean of the other page) i want to remove the Bean upon leaving the current web page... Or maybe force the constructor to be executed each time the Page is loaded (as if it was a Request scope bean)....
Any ideas?

Hi,
When you are moving to another page, you are performing an action right ?
(i mean the request moving to Server side), if you do so, then clear the bean object values list.
for example :
private List<Integer> intList = new ArrayList<Integer>();
public void clear()
intList.clear();
or
store a new object in session, when ever u moved to the second page, so that the old object will be no longer
in use, so it will be garbage collected.Regards,

How to call list from memory after submitting RCS13001

Can anyone help me with this problem? I am submitting RCS13001 and using option exporting list to memory and return. It was successfully displayed the ALV list (which I don't want to see) and return to the caller program. Then when calling function list_from_memory, it short dumped/returned nothing. It seems that nothing is saved in the memory when submitting the program.
So what I want to get now is call RCS13001 and process the data, don't display the ALV report but save it in memory, and then collect the memory for output.
Any help is appreciated and points awarded. Thanks in advance

How to Fecth data from LDB FMF when the report is already using LDB FMB

i have a standard program(T. Code - FMB_PT01) that uses logical database FMB.
When I run this report it will display Budget value and Budget consumed value.
When the user double click on total amount .
Another report RFFMTO10X will be called using submit statement.
It will show the Respective Budget Consumption value totals acc to the value type .
In Report RFFMTO10X data is retrieved using logical database FMF .
But now my requirement is to bring budget consumed total wrt to value type field from Report RFMTO10X in to the basic
output list.
For that I have copied standard Report RFFMREP_LDB_PT01 into ZReport and I have added new field in the fieldcatlog.
but how to bring the budget Consumed wrt to Value type in the basic output list..

Hi,
you can try to call another program using submit and that program will export your required data into memory (EXPORT statement). After successful call of the second program you get your data from memory (IMPORT statement). Or you can try to call subroutine in the second program and use subroutine interface to pass data to and from second program. BTW the logical databases are obsolete so you can also write your own logic to get required data directly from DB.

How to acquire data from multiple dataports at the same time

I studied the multithreading section of Labview, but still have no idea
how to make it work. Let me briefly explain my situation. I need to
develop a program that can control and acquire data from 4 serial
ports. I have 4 buttons to control starting or stopping acquisation
from the corresponding port. Every acquisation process is a while loop.
How can I start a new acquisation loop (eg. from COM2) while the loop
for COM1 is still running? In other words, I wish the 4 loops running
independently, and are controlled by their corresponding buttons only.

If I were you, I'd create one VI (call it Port.vi) to listen to one port - then make it reentrant. Drop 4 copies of Port.vi on your Main diagram. Port.vi inputs could include a VISA reference, a "Start/Stop" notifier and maybe a "Quit" occurance. Wire to each copy of Port.vi a unique VISA reference and a unique "Start/Stop" [boolean] notifier - let all the copies share the same Quit Occurance.
In Main, have one event case for each of your stop buttons. When a button is pressed, send the appropriate Start/Stop notifier!
... of course you could accomplish the same thing with four identical loops right in your main diagram, but the more complex the port-handling gets, the easier it will be to manage in one place instead of four.

How to print data from SAP without showing the screen.

I need to develop one RFC.It will call by third party tool like XMII.
Required data will come from XMII and RFC should print data directly from printer.
RFC should call transaction QM02>Notification>Print>Item Selection>select one of the Shop paper -->Print (No.of copies and name of printer will be given by XMII)

Build a process chain, to load the Cube and after the load completed, delete the PSA used to load the Cube.
Also include in this chain a generated ABAP program to selective delete data from your DSO based on some selection/variant , ex: Fiscal Year or something.
Also check the design and find a reason for using DSO, if no reason then just load into CUBE.

How to copy data from one transaction to the next (F-43)

All,
I have a situation where it appears the due date of an invoice is being copied from a previous invoice entry. Can anyone tell me is there a process where the user can have data default from one invoice to the next and if so is the due date (planning date) one of those fields?

I understand how it is supposed to work. However, I have production examples of that not happening and I'm trying to figure out how. The only way I have been able to replicate the issue is when I manually enter the due date when entering the invoice the calculation of baseline date + #of days does not happen. Users say they are not manually entering a date so I'm trying to find a way the date could be entered without the users knowledge.

How to acquire data from 2 chs of the same DAQ card at different sampling rate

I am using single DAQ card (either 6013 or 6014) in my system i want to acquire data from 2 (or more) channels with following requirements
1. sampling rate of each channel should be independant of each other (say one is 20 Hz and other is 15 kHz)
2. data from all the channels should be acquired simultaneously.
3. coding must be done using DAQmx VIs
I have tried out following things
1. I created separate task for each channel: i found out that two tasks can not run simultaneously even though the channels are different
2. I tried out single task with two channels included in it. and i used 'channels to Read' property to determine from which ch. i want to acquire data: this method works fine if the sampling rates are same. but if i change the sampling rate of one channel it gets reflected in other channels as well.
can somebody help me out to solve this problem.
i will appreciate if somebody can post the sample code as my deadline is approaching

Changes not reflected on the page after migrating the page to server

Hi all,
I have migrated a page to server after making some adding a messageTextInput field but the changes are not getting reflected.
I followed the following steps to migrate the page:
1. Copied the page.xml from local machine to server.
2. Ran the below import command :

It said
Import completed.
3. Bounced the apache server.
4. Ran the below script to see the page definition:

Hi,
Go to 'about this page' from front end and check the path for this PG.xml and compare that path with the one that you are importing.
As per my understanding, if this is a custom page, then the path you are using is not correct.
