how to report employee thief to adobe, safe harbor, and your partners, there is no email, no phone, spent 1 hr 26 min with Adobe support, and after I gave him permission to access my computer, I had to ask him if he was having a problem, than I receive a security notice that the software program is not from a confirmed web site and was downloaded to an unknown web address, when I asked the support
person if this was the program, I did not see https or a lock and he sail it was ok it was him.
I notice he had deleted some files and was in process of changing my security logins files and change wifi and proxy, when I tried to stop him he locked my mouse so I had to power off computer. after that there was a virus installed on my computer,
I have spent the last 3 hrs getting a different virus protection software to clean my Hard drive.
I want this guy fired,
Funny I have been trying to get in touch with adobe since March 29,2015, no emails and when I got someone one the phone he could not under stand me, but I can understand why since he could
not speak english, WOW Great support ADOBE.
I bet I will get there attn. now.

I am unable to get the numbers about the first imd I contacted adobe, but was able to get the chat records if that would help, my computer is fried, I have been spending last 2 days trying to remove the virus and ad wares, I have been told looked like I will have to erase the drive an install every thing from scratch

if your purpose is to change the start date (hire date) of an employee, the API you are looking for is 'HR_CHANGE_START_DATE_API' .
Just go through the procedures in this API and you can easily figure out how to call it to change the hire date of an existing employee.
Please note that changing the hire date in per_all_people_f change all child dates (ie assignment start dates etc).
Let us know how did it work out.

How could the customer support for Adobe LR be any less adequate - impossible to get person on phone, no response to chat. Unbelievably shoddy and customer-hostile.

There are a thousand places to purchase things on the web where one's order is essentially processed at the time it is entered. I've never had something like this wait for "processing" happen before, anywhere. Could something be wrong? Is a third party doing something to me?

The Seller said " I bought it ( Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements ) and upgraded to the next version. It was installed once so it is like new. "
Any problems in transferring both older licenses to my daughter ?

It is not clear to me what the situation is as far as who owns what, but if the older versions were used to purchase upgrades to the newer versions then whoever owns the newer versions probably doesn't want to give up the licenses to the older versions because they will lose the ability to reinstall if they no longer own the versions that qualified them for the upgrade.

You don't. Adobe Reader does not do this. Adobe Acrobat ($$) can extract 10 pages as a new document, ready to email.

How do I move itunes to an external drive and use from there

Mid July 2010 Mini running 10.9.4, 320 gig HD, about 95 gigs left on drive and I need to add bootcamp/windows7 which will need about 90 gigs, maybe a little less for what I need to do with win7. Next problem will be figuring out how to make bootcamp work. Like how do I make a ISO out of a dmg? That's for another post. Excuse me.
What do I move to an external drive? The media folder? Do I move iTunes? Seems to me iTunes needs to be on the MacHD and it pulls media from the drive to be rendered or played. Do I drag and drop? From where? Why doesn't Apple have simple easy to understand certified answers to issues ordinary people have? Something about once "it" is moved, do you restart and then I think hold control down while starting iTunes? What about iTunes Match? Should that be off? If it is off during the change over and then after restating Match will it matter that now the media is all in a different location? Absolutely at a loss.
Can someone please shed light on this?

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) so you get a prompt to select a library, then guide it to the 'iTunes Library.itl' file in the moved iTunes folder.
If this is to a new computer and you put the copied iTunes folder in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)

Hello, I have an email account on my iPhone that is from my old employer. I know how to "delete" the email account in my settings, but when I did that it removed all of my saved notes from within the past 6 months from the iPhone's original "notes" app, as well as removed my events that are saved in my calendar app. So I re-added the email account (which is an additional email account connected to my yahoo email that my employer added for me in the past (I no longer work there, so I don't need it). The strange thing is that when I bought my phone, I set everything up through a different Yaho account. How can I remove this email without loosing my notes and calendar events?

Ok, thank you, but my apple ID is all tied to my yahoo email. This is a separate, additional yahoo email the email that I want to remove is not linked to my apple ID.

Margins - no longer there. Numbers 3.0 is not printing oriented.
Categorize - no longer there. But you can achieve similar via SUMIFS and COUNTIFS in a summary table.
Move - that's still there.

Your old Numbers 2.3 is still on your Mac in a subfolder within Applications called iWork '09 or similar. You can use both versions at the same time.
