How to Retrieve the Attributes Definitions from a Database

Is there a way of getting the definitions (types) of the attributes (columns) from a database, supposing we have a connection to it?

If I use getParameterNames() to get all the parameter names(Which form the tag names in the XML file ) the Enumeration object it returns will not be in the same order as the text fields in JSP.From this I can not construct a meaningful XML file.

Thanks, that will work, but then I'll have to insert code into all my reports.
I can see that "Application Server Control Console" is able to rerun a report.
This must mean that the Report Server has access to the runtime parameters.

In a procedure, I defined a cursor:
cursor c_emp is select empno, ename, salary from emp where ename like 'J%';
but in the body part, I need to retrieve the max(salary) from the cursor.
could you please tell me how I can get the max value from the cursor in the procedure.

Texts are stored in tables STXH & STXL (header and item). You can search these tables by selecting Text object = EINA and Text name = Info Rec #. The text ID's you will see are the ID for various texts maintained.

How to hide the Attribute dimension from Planning webform
I am in Planning 9.3.1
We are using members in row section of webform w.r.t Attribut dimension
so when we are viewing the webform- it is displaying member name followed by Attribute dimension name .
any way to hide that Attribute dimension member from the webform.
KKIn the Dimension Properties for that dimension, select "Enable custom attribute display" but dont pull the attribute from Available Dimensions to Selected Dimensions. I've given the name of the property from 11.1.1.3 version, so not sure if its the same in 9.3.1 but it'll be somewhat similar.

I recently intalled a clean Mac OS X Lion on my system, I was having Snow Leopard (10.6.8) before. So before the format of the hard drive I have taken the full backup of the system by Time Machine.
Now, after the fresh installation of Lion, I want to retrieve the data of diffrent previously installed applications like iPhoto, Address Book or iCal and so.. but certainly I want to retrieve the data only, not the full application (since they are the older versions of the application). How I can have the data of these applications into the new OS X Lion's blank Applications..!?

there are 3rd party programs to help. having a CLONE of your old system often trumps what TM alone offers.
And it makes sense to start a new TM backup set on another drive and keep the old one intact.

while selecting, your where clause should look like this.
VBELV - delivery number
VBTYP_N - subsequent document type ( Invoice)
i.e, 'M'
VBTYP_V - preceeding document type ( Delivey)
