How to retrieved the deleted notes

I bought an iPhone 4s lately and after I sync everything to it, I tried to delete the notes on my old iPhone 3Gs. But then I found out that most of my notes on 4s were being deleted as well!! Only some of the old notes remain!!! I tried to restore the 3Gs from backup but it doesnt help (I dun want to restore the 4s as I dun want to lost any recent messages). Besides, I tried to find the location of the backup files and I couldn't find it. (normally it should be located in Library/application support/mobilesync/backup, and there's no "mobilesync" folder under "application support"). Can anyone solve my problem??? it's very urgent as there's many useful information in the notes!!!

Not sure if this will work enter this in Terminal
cd ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes; strings NotesV1.storedata | grep body | open -f
or
cd ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes; strings NotesV2.storedata | grep body | open -f
search the text file for your note.

  • How to retrieve the deleted Transport request (Cust)

    Hi,
I have deleted the Customizing Transport Request, by mistake. Now, I am trying to get the TR back.
Could you please let me know if there is any way that I can recover my Transport Request.
    Thanks for the helpful answers.
PS: I have checked the existing threads for the same. However, I don't see any solution.
    Thanks,
    Sandeep

    Hi Sandeep,
    It;s good if you can involve BASIS consultant or you can check below discription;
If you have deleted from SAP level. Then you need to check at the OS level in /usr/sap/trans/log directory else you can check for the SLOG and ALOG folder also.
If total request has been deleted then you can also do the transport manually at OS level.
    or
If you have simply deleted the the requests from import queue through "Extras-> Delete imported requests" in transaction STMS_IMPORT and have not deleted the logs at OS level, then you can check in "Goto-> Import History" in the same transaction to view the requests.
Just double click on the request you want and you enter the "Display Object List" screen for the particular request.
Here you can click on the secong "Spectacles" icon to display the transport steps of the request in each of your SAP system.
Just double click on a step, e.g. 'Import', 'Check Version','Export' etc. to display the log for that particular step.
You can also view the logs from operating system in the directory <TRANSDIR>/log. The logs are named in the format:
    <Source SID><Step ID><Request no>.<Target SID>, where step ID is a single alphabet denoting a particular transport action.
    Or you can check below link also;

My music files etc were all located on my old laptop which was stolen. I have just plugged my iphone in to my new computer and it has deleted all my files. Has anybody got any ideas on how to retrieve the files?

    WINDOWS?
Connect the iPod to your PC. If iTunes starts syncing (ie erasing) your music automatically, hit the X in the upper right hand corner of iTunes display, to the left of the search box, to stop it.
In Control Panel, Portable Media Devices, double-click your iPod.
In the Tools menu -> Options, in the View Tab, check "Show hidden files and folders."
Navigate to the Music folder. On my 'pod, the full path is
Portable Media Devices\NAME of IPOD (F:)\iPod_Control\Music
Select all the music folders, and drag and drop them into a folder on your hard drive, or directly into iTunes.
And you're done! The iPod music folder structure is strange and inexplicable, but once you move your files into iTunes you can set it to automatically organize your folder by artist and album to clean that up. (To do this, in iTunes Edit menu, choose Preferences and in the Advanced tab, check "Keep iTunes Music Folder organized."
might be out of date worth a try

I set up my new iPad, then deleted the Pages documents on my old iPad, but this had the effect of deleting them on my new iPad too because they are synced. How do I retrieve the deleted documents?

Sorry no. That's how it works.
Check if you still have an old backup and do a restore otherwise it's gone.

  • Retrieving a deleted note from the "Notes" app.

Hey, I was woundering if there is anyway possible that you could retrieve a deleted note from the "Notes" app.
A very sincere note was given to my by a significant other via this app, and it was accidentally deleted.
    I appriciate your time

You could probably try restoring from a backup of the iPod Touch, but only if that backup was made before the note was deleted. Other than that, I'm afraid it's lost (unless the note was emailed, which would cause it to appear in the "Sent" folder of your mail account on the iPod).

  • How do I recover deleted notes from the cloud?

How do I recover deleted notes from the cloud?

Please note that these instructions (suggestions) have not yet been confirmed to work. I have however provided similar instructions for recovering contacts, calendars etc, which have.
The difficulty in restoring iCloud data from a back up is that the back up is older than the current version on iCloud and anything that is restored gets removed again when an iCloud sync occurs.
Recovering your notes is quite time consuming, you may wish not to save all your notes to save some time, if they are not of importance.
Ensure the device is connected to your local network.
Start the restore from iCloud back up.
Allow the devices settings to restore (watch for the confirmation of completion).
As the apps begin to restore pull the connection to your router WAN port (the one that goes to the telephone point).
Wait for the time out confirmation.
Open the 'Notes' app, and open your first note (assuming your deleted notes have now been restored).
Select the share option at the foot of the screen (rectangle with arrow) and choose mail.
Send the email to yourself (If they won't send, save them to draft)
Repeat steps 7 & 8, until you have copied all the notes you wish to save to email.
Reconnect the router to the internet and let the restore process complete.
Navigate to settings > iCloud and make sure 'Notes' syncing is enabled.
Open the 'Notes' app, check that iCloud notes have reverted to how they were before starting the restore.
Open the 'Mail' app and open the first email you sent yourself and copy the text you want in the note.
Open the 'Notes' app and create a new note in the iCloud, paste the text you copied.
Go to iCloud.com on a computer and check that the note has synced to iCloud.
Repeat steps 12, 13 & 14 until you have recovered all your notes.
May I suggest that you carry out a back up to iTunes before you try anything, that way should things become even worse, you can at least restore back to where you are now.

If you backed up the iPad after you created the notes, you can restore from the backup to retrieve them. If you didn't backup, the notes are gone.

  • Is the way to retrieve the deleted pages from the database application

    Hi,
I was just deleted the pages from my database application wizard. Now, i want to retrieve the deleted pages, can you help me to retrieve those pages.
    Thankyou.

Halloween can be a scary time -- especially if you Oops your APEX application. Of course you can't travel back in time but through the miracle of flashback, you may be able to get the APEX appl. back to where it was when. I tried these approaches and was successful with them.
*** This assumes flashback is running on the APEX schema(?). Your abiliy to go back a given number of minutes (or hours?) will depend on whether the saved values still exist in the database. ***
    A) If you modify a page and want to go back to what you had, say, about 30 minutes ago.
    1) Under the Utilities button (on that page), select History.
    2) Determine how far back in time you want to go by examining the list of editing changes displayed.
    3) Do a page export of that page (also under Utilities) and fill in “As of __ minutes ago”.
    4) If you don’t want to lose what you've got on the “damaged” page, copy it to another page number for now.
    5) Import the exported page file.
    6) Check if you got back what you wanted.
    7) If not, try an earlier (or later) time and have another go at it.
    B) If you deleted the wrong page in the application!
    1) Assuming the last thing you did was this deletion, export the entire application filling in “As of __ minutes ago”.
    2) Just to be careful, import the file to a different unused application number. Don't overwrite someone else's application.
    3) Copy the deleted page from the new application back to where you need it.
    4) Clean up by deleting the unneeded application.
    C) If, "Doh," you deleted the wrong application!!!!
    1) Are you able to retire? If no, then proceed!
    2) Create a minimal application (with a single page) with the same number as the one deleted.
    3) Export the application filling in “As of __ minutes ago” with an appropriate number of minutes.
    4) The export file should contain the code you need to restore.
    5) You can inspect it with an editor.
Look about line 25 for" Pages: <number>".
For specific pages look for "page_000nn".
    5) Import the file to the same appl. number. You should get everything back!
    YMMV: Your mileage may vary!
I'll take my leave with the words of that immortal song:
"Yes. Oops, Oops, Oopsie! Good Bye. But Oops, Oops, Oopsie. Don't Cry."

  • Retrieving a deleted note

Hello. I just deleted a note from my iPad 2 by accident. I do my backup/synching to iCloud, but my log in got messed up recently and as far as I know, nothing has backed up in the last week. The good news is that it is an older note that would be in the icloud backup. I'm now trying to find a way to retrieve it. I would like to just retrieve the note, if possible. My Mac doesn't have Lion, so there is no backup to iTunes, only iCloud. I'm very hesitant to do a restore from iCloud, because I don't want to lose any newer notes not part of the last sync. I don't know how it works. I also logged in to iCloud.com and went to mail and looked at the notes, but the deleted note wasn't there. I can't imagine I already synched over it automatically, since i have been unable to log in to iCloud. Does the sync work that way? Would it delete from iCloud during a sync if the file was gone from my iPad? Or does the sync just keep adding data but not deleting? I can't find a safe way to get this note back. Thanks for the help.

You could probably try restoring from a backup of the iPod Touch, but only if that backup was made before the note was deleted. Other than that, I'm afraid it's lost (unless the note was emailed, which would cause it to appear in the "Sent" folder of your mail account on the iPod).
