How to retrive temperory version of a program?

how to retrieve temporary version of a abap program if the program dumps in between.
please let me know.

If you have activated the program before running, there is no temporary version. If you have not activated and ran it, got a dump then when you go into the program the system will prompt you to reload the temp version.
I am not sure if you can reload the temp version manually.

You can use the Transaction STMS choose the option "Import Overview" . In the GOTO tab select "History" and choose "Import History".
Here you can find the history of requests imported to the prod system.

How to get oc4j version from Java program

i have the following in my Java Program
Runtime r = Runtime.getRuntime();
Process p = r.exec("java -jar oc4j.jar version");
and then i try to read the InputStream from the Process p.
but this line is not executing, it returns the following error.
Unknown switch: ?version, type java -jar oc4j.jar -? for help
if i change it to ----------

Process p = r.exec("java -jar $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/oc4j.jar version");
then i get another error :

at java.util.jar.JarFile.<init>(JarFile.java:127)

but if i cd to /oracle/j2ee/home and then run the command java -jar oc4j.jar version, then it gives me the right output with the right version, but for some reason the samething from inside the java program is giving me errors,
please help. i just need to read the oc4j version running on the server and display it in JSP.

Did You may be direct iPhoto to a different Photo Library
As iMovie tries to find the appropriate photo library - it can get lost if iPhoto direct it into a Library on a not connected external hard disk or to a strange location - And iMovie HANGS.
Do - When no other program is running that might interfere
• Start iPhoto - BUT NOW KEEP alt-key (option key) DOWN during the full Start-Up process
• Now iPhoto let's You select Photo Library
• Select the one in Your Account / Home folder / Pictures ! !
• Then iPhoto should start up OK
• Now Quit iPhoto
• START iMovie
Does it still hangs - then I would suspect - iMovie Pref. file
If it Run's OK - Then HURRAY !

Hi All,
Is it possible to view the previous version of an ABAP Z Program.
Example, I created a Z pgm on 1st of oct,a request got generated, i transported it to prd server.
Next on 2nd of oct i added a new line of code in the same program & transported the request to prd.
Now i want to view the previous version(without the new line) of the same progrm.
How to do this.
Help is highly appriciated.

in the zprogram
from menu bar UTITLITES->VERSIONS->VERSION MANAGEMENT
HERE IT WILL DISPLAY ALL THE VERSIONS OF YOUR PROGRAM
PLACE THE CURSOR ON YOUR PREVIOUS VERSION AND CLICK
ON RETRIEVE BUTTON.

Hi Dmirtiyter, I suspect that you have a windows computer and seems you have a 32 bit system and that's the only reason you are not getting a download option for Premiere Pro as its a 64 bit Program.

iOS 4.2.1 is the latest version available for the iPhone 3G, if apps require iOS higher than that then unfortunately you will not be able to install it.

How to tell which version of camera raw I have? The only Google search I found answering this question refers to is 2 years old and seems to no longer apply. There is no File, Edit etc. menu on the new version of Camera Raw with (Photoshop/Bridge CS6). I do use Adobe Application Manager to do my updates telling me if a new version exists or not, nevertheless I would like to know.

The F key works as described for me in CS6-ACR7.4 with ACR as the window with focus. The same function is available using the double-arrow-window icon at the right of the Preview checkbox near the top right of the preview area.
When in full-screen mode there is no title bar, but when I press the F key or click the double-arrow, again, ACR becomes smaller and I can see the title bar that includes the ACR version and camera model. This is on Windows7-64-bit on a 1600x1050 monitor. I recently installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player
V. 10, and the instructions said it would be best to uninstall any
earlier versions of the Player. I have 3 installations of Adobe
Flash Player V. 9, and 1 installation of Macromedia Flash 5.0 on
this computer, and haven't the foggiest notion of how to uninstall
them! They are all located in the Windows i.386 folder which I've
been told is dangerous to play around with. The new installation of
V. 10 went directly to C:\Windows\System32\Macromedia\Flash, which
is right where it should be.
Anyone have a clue as to how to uninstall these earlier
versions and if it's necessary to do so at all?
Also, when running Flash Player V. 10, I've been getting an
error message when on IE 6.0 that says, "it's encountered a problem
with an Add-On' and need to close - The following add-on was
running when this problem occurred: File: Flash10a.ocx - Adobe
Flash Player, Adobe Systems". Does anyone know what could be the
problem with this "add-on", and how to fix it?

I have a similar problem with version 9c. It has left an
entry in my registry pointing to a file that was appearantly
uninstalled during an upgrade. The result is an incomplete
uninstall. I think that earlier versions of the program had bugs in
the uninstall or upgrade work that left these nasty messes in our
computers. There is an uninstall program available on the website
for version 9(x) that may work for you. Here is how to get to it:
Go to this page:

Under "Windows 2000/XP/Vista" there is an "Uninstaller"
Click on it and either save it to a download directory and
run the uninstaller from there or,
click the "run" button and run it from the web site (like I
did). In either case this will uninstall the version on your
computer now. In my case it did not clean up the registry issue
though. It did permit me to do a clean installation of the current
version. I hope this helps!!

Suppose a request is released in 102 it gets affected to all the clients by default( in dev). Now the problem starts if something is developed in dev and that is not transported to production. So there was some change in dev which is not gone to Prod(500),. How to maintain the version change status in prod and dev. If there are any request or changes to effect any module/Sub module???
Is there any report. And how to take care of the changes made in dev and keep track of the programs ? Also al the relevant question regarding the same?

If you create a report in one client this coding is automatically 'available' in all other clients as well because there is only one coding version per system. It doen't matter if the request assigned to it is released or not.
Regarding tracking of changes - whenever you change or create a transportable object you will have to enter it into a change request. Hence by looking at your change requests (SE10) you can see what objects have been changed. To keep the coding versions in your prod and dev system in sync you should also always transport your requests once they are finished. Also make sure that they are transported in the same sequence they were released in DEV, otherwise you might overwrite a newer coding version in prod with an older version of that code.
The versions of your program will be created automatically. At the time you release a transport request that version is 'closed'. Any further change to that object will create a new version which will be 'closed' again when you release your request. You can also manually create temporary versions in version management.

If you are a developer, or have a similar personality, there is an aftermarket EFI-64 "work-alike" program you can load into memory instead of 64-bit firmware. It is too complicated for regular folks.
You must already have upgraded your Memory and your graphics card to use this solution, and your Mac will not operate quite normally. Any problems with it are unsupported.
