How to revert the plan copy done via CJ9F

Hi Folks,
Here is the scenario:
No budgeting is used in PS ie. no budget profile is assigned to projects.
Initially we are planning cost and revenue for the project and coping these plan value in version "02 : Project Baseline Budget" made for storing data for future reference.
Once the project is released while period end closing plan values are copied to version made for each period but user has performed transaction CJ9F and seleted target version wrong (instead of using Z01 he used 02). thus baseline budget values are overwritten.
Now i want to revert changes in version 02.

if i got it correct the user copied plan cost/rev from version A to version B and now you need to revert to old values of version B.
As far as i know there is no straight way to do it..but if i could propose a workaround:
Multiply the plan values of version A with (-1): instead of cost element plan value 100 apply -100, and then copy this to version B. That would bring back the old values of version B.

Hi,
Goto Utilities-> versions-> version management.
It will show you list of previous TR's. Just click on the version which you want to retrieve and click on Retrieve button on the top.
Your program will be retrieved to your previous version before change.

How to install the same copy of creative suite on the second computer?

Basically I am using a Macbook Pro and upgraded my hard disk. A
After I have recovered the data using time machine, I was unable to access my CS6 applications, which all became trial version. So I would like to know how to install the same copy of creative suite on the new drive.

Transferring does not usually work - you need to install using installation files, the same way you originally installed the program(s).

Hi,
This is caused by mandant settings in scc4. It's better not to make changes in PRD, because then your DEV en QA systems differ.

I follwed this note only (Deploying Sun JRE (Native Plug-in) for Windows Clients in Oracle E-Business Suite 11i [ID 290807.1]) to upgrade my Jre -1.6.0_23 version .Use the same steps to downgrade to 1.6.0_20 (i.e. download the correct plug-in, issue "txkSetPlugin.sh jversion" with the desired version, ..etc).
I given it to application team for testing they come back with some issues telling that some application and users unable to access so requesting to downgrade the JRE to 1.6.0_20 version.What issues? Have you considered upgrading to 1.6.0_24?

Hi,
Use the collective display of planned orders, transaction code MD16.
You can select the data by different options and choose which ones or all that you need to delete.
Click the Delete button to trash them.
This will delete planned orders without deleting the planned independent requirements and sales orders.

I was expecting to get a message to install my serial numbers.

You downloaded the trial version for the creative cloud. It doesn't work with a serial number. It is licensed differently. You will have to uninstall it and then download and install from here:

i recieved a computer from my colleg and want to install disk copy but the files are in a format that needs disk copy to open them (.smi,.part,etc.)how do i install disk copy when the install neds disk copy to run. i do not have the original install disk!!!! so do not ask if i have install disk.

Would it be correct to assume that you are trying to install the downloadable System 7.5.3 , e.g. the US version here? If so, the computer in question (Performa 638CD?) will have to have a usable operating system on the hard disk; or a startup floppy or CD will be needed.
As Niel has indicated above, you are not going to need a separate Disk Copy application for a self-mounting image.
However, please note that the files available for download are protected by a MacBinary (.bin) encoding. StuffIt Expander would be required for the decoding. If the download has been carried out on a PC, leave the encoded files intact until on a Mac. Do not try to decode the .bin on a PC.
Once on the Mac where you want to install System 7.5.3, decode the .bin (if this has not been done earlier, in an appropriate Mac environment). Then, place the decoded files (one .smi and eighteen .part) in a common folder on the hard disk. Double-click on the .smi; this will mount the total image. The installer will be found in the mounted image. Run the installer.
Should you in a particular case really need Disk Copy (for instance, for .img files), the program can be found here. You will notice that version 6.3.3 is packaged as a self-mounting image, protected by MacBinary. Decode the .bin on the Mac, double-click on the .smi, and finally drag-copy the Disk Copy program from the image to the hard disk.
If you do not have access to a suitable StuffIt Expander version for the older Mac, please post back.

How to remove the cloud copy of bookmarks and start over

I inadvertently synced bookmarks from a computer that I had wanted to keep separate. How do I either remove the unwanted material from the syncing copy in the cloud or just remove that cloud copy and start over?

If this is something that has occurred recently it should be easy to sort out just unlink the device and revert to the previous version of bookmarks by using the restore option in the bookmarks library. With luck all you will loose is the last set of bookmarks added.

I always try to remind people using sync
* Sync only merges bookmarks now, it will not permit unidirectional syncing. For instance you cannot sync from a phone and just add those bookmarks to a computer, Sync will fill the phone with the desktop's bookmarks.
*It is wise to backup bookmarks manually if bookmarks are being synced.
My recommendation of caution and backing up of bookmarks is not aimed at those who inadvertently add a device. It is aimed at those who become over reliant on Sync.
Occasionally; especially on slow connections or if there are many bookmarks changes; Sync throws a wobbly and corrupts or duplicates bookmarks. Without manual backups, these situations become almost impossible to sort out, by the time they are reported.

Go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go back through the setup screens on the phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup.
