How to rotate the view of numbers spreadsheet in iphone?

Hi,
I can rotate the veiw of numbers's spreadsheet in ipad but somehow the view in iphone didn't? is there any setting or that's the limitation of iphone?

The ony way you can rotate them to my knowledge is when you are printing. Tap the wrench > share and print > print > (tap the gear) > choose portrait/landscape.

you can change the page orientation by selecting the menu item "File > Print..." then adjust the orientation in "Page Orientation" section, then click "Done" (or "Print", if you want to print).

How to get the view Object in UserDefined Action

Hi All,
Any body tell me how to get the view object , like the view object avilable in the wdDoModifyView() method as parameter.
I have requirement like, i want to change the , no of rows displaying in the table should be changed at the runtime based onthe no of rows selected in the dropdown box.
The action which i created will be assigned to that dropdown box, on select of the available option, i will get the view object and change the properties of the "maxrows" of the table .
so for getting the view object in the the Action methods tell me what is the procedure for getting the current view object.

Simply create a value attribute (say rowCount) of type 'integer' and bind it to the 'visibleRowCount' property of your table. Then, in the actionHandler get the value from the UI element (in your case, I guess it is drop down) and set it to the attribute 'rowCount' like this.

How to set the view privilege of a portlet?

Dear all,
I would like to ask how to set the view privilege of a portlet (which is located on the Intranet homepage) to only a group of users?
As far as I know, I can create a tab with view privilege to address the about scenario. But is it possible to directly set the view privilege to the portlet ?

OK, you got me there George. I don't know where you can set view rights to an out of box portlet. So how about a different approach?
1) Create a blank page with no nav bar or anything else
2) Assign the group you want to see the notifications portlet view rights on the page
3) Make sure the show as portlet check box is checked on the Optional tab in the page properties
4) Add the notifications portlet to the page
5) Ensure the portlet settings are how you desire in terms of what notifications to show and the region settings are how they should be in terms of border, headers, etc
6) Edit the page where you want the notifications portlet to be shown and add the page portlet you just created instead of the notification portlet
This should achieve what you seek without having to dig into out-of-box portlets.

I came to know that there is an OSS Note available for this implementation but I couldn't find the same.
Please suggest me how to Implement the View V_SEPA_CUST in our SAP system, since we need this View for SEPA implementation.

SAP has just recently released a note you might want to consider: 1834272. One of the preliminary notes for this note is 1784060...
This works for SAP 6.4. I can not help you where it is specifically related to SAP 4.7

How to Rotating the Bulge effect.... Stumped

I was looking at a tutorial

on using the displacement effect. I started experimenting on my own using the Bulge effect to animate the layer that is to be used as the displacement source. If you want to follow exactly what I was working with, it was number 4, the Expand Output composition.
I applied the bulge effecty to the Test Layer with the setting of Horizontal Radius 33; Vertical Radius 167, and a Bulge Height of 4. I animated the effect by setting keyframes for the Bulge Center. Then I duplicated the effect and changed the Horizontal Radius to 33 and the Vertical Radius to 167. What I ended up with was a + (Plus sign) looking shape that animated over the layer, which is what I wanted. I precomposed the layer and used it as the displacement map layer.
But then I wanted the rotate the Plus sign so that it would be like and "X" instead. but there is no way to adjust for that in the Bulge controlls. So I applied the Transform effect to the Test Layer to rotate it but I rotates the whole layer including the word Test, I got the X shape that I was looking for but I did not want to put the Test on a 45 degree slant.
Any suggestions on how to rotate the Bulge effect. I thought that it may have something to do with the Pin All Edges, I didnt see anything change with it on or off.

Unfortunately there is no intuitive way to do this. It's one more time where you will have to pre-compose. Rotatte the footage in teh pre-comp, apply the bulge on top of it using an adjustment layer. Put the pre-comp in teh main comp, then un-rotate it. I believe that will give you the kind of distortion I think you are looking for.

[Question]how to count the occurance of numbers inside the array

im just practicing my java skill but i cant get my program work can you give me guys some idea on how to determine a number that occured more than 1 inside the array e.g i have 10 elements and inside of my offset i have
1,2,5,4,5,6,5,8,9,5
and what im planning to do is count the occurances of the number who occures more than 1 and for that 5 occur 3 times how my program can know that i use for loop but cant figure out how to filter the occurances of numbers inside

IPhone SDK - How to rotate the Aspen Simulator

I have the Beta 3 installed. The Aspen Simulator menu has a menu item called Hardware which has *Rotate Left* and *Rotate Right*. When i try rotate it does not do anything.
Have others experienced an issue with this? From some post it seems like this works for them. So i would like to know what i am doing wrong.

In Beta4, the Simulator now rotates irrespective of whether the application handles rotation or not. That is one difference from earlier.
Secondly i registered for UIDevice UIDeviceOrientationDidChangeNotification and now i do get notified when the orientation changed.
Of course the view itself is not rotated automatically. Seems like the UIViewController has code to rotate the views. In other handheld devices for e.g on Palm and Windows Mobile when the device changes orientation the application views are automatically rotated. You do have to handle the changes to the new screen size and adjust your views. I had expected something similar on the iPhone and am a bit surprised at this behavior.
I don't have anything against View controllers. I guess it is just that i don't understand them that well. I don't want to use the Navigation bar or the Tab bars. I want my views to have a custom header view and a custom footer view. And i plan to load the new content view on the current parent view and handle the Back stack myself. So the header and footer view remain fixed and the only thing that slides in and out is the content view. From the documentation and the WhichWayIsUp sample it is clear that i can use a view controller for the main view and not use the navigation bars or tab bars. I guess i just need to try a few things out to see what will work for me.

Java3D - how to get the viewing frustum coordinates

Hi all!
I am so desperate to find out how to retrieve the viewing frustum (truncated pyramid) coordinates (xyz) in Java3D.
Please let me know. I checked the API docs but no luck.
I am sure there must be some way (or method) of extracting these (xyz) coodrinates from this frustum.

firstly I humbly admit I am not that familiar with openGL so I dont know what those functions are doing ..but still I might be missing what is it you are looking for...u saying "to get xyz" coordinates of truncated pyramid ... u need 8 points (depending on the way you wanna calculate it)to create viewing frustum so which one u looking for? ....btw there is a viewing frustum method to get points but unfortunately due to j3d setup by the time u get them using that method 2 frames will go by .... so

It should be. When selecting Call for a number and the number starts ringing, the clock has started for being charged for that call. The clock doesn't start when the recipient answers the call as when dialing long distance with a landline.
