How to run report builder engine????

Hi!
I want to run Oracle Report Builder Engine from FrontEnd(java).
Please mention me the steps i can proceed.

The better way could be that the Repor Builder engine, be started when the database starts up.
Why should i be done from the front end ?

How to run Reports demos?

I finally got everything installed and I'm trying to run the Reports demos off of the mid-tier web site. when I click on the jsp report demo it brings up the parameter page. I just use the defaults and click the run button. when I do that it asks me for a SSO login/password. what do I use here? I've looked over all the docs I can think of without finding anything.

The 'rep_lab02' is the name of the report that you give in the node reports
p_fec_uno and p_fec_dos they are the parameters in the report
repserver is the name of server created with rwserver

What version of reports are you running?
If it's Reports 10g then have you looked at the help under the topic "About spreadsheet output"?

How to run report in Netscape as a default

Hi,
how do I run reports in netscape browser.
Reports currently are running in IE.
In Forms - preferences I have set it to Netscape and the forms run in netscape which is what I want for reports too. Where in reports builder, i have to specify the browser settings.

hi every body,
please tell me , i have developed a simple report in 10g report builder (oracle developer suite)
but i m unable to run it
my 10g forms are running well in browser by using
http://<Machinename :8889>/forms/frmservlet?config=<config_tag>
Please advise me how to test or runb the report in browser same as form
and tell me how to create the report server/find report server and configure the source path for it.

How to run report from multiple user same time

We are using oracle database 11g R2
Oracle Forms & reports : 11.1.2
O.S : Windows & Professional
We have install oracle database, Oracle forms & reports in server. Near about 25 users are accessing that database, forms & reports from server through browser.
I have one problem, when users runs a report there report goes in queue and runs one by one in FIFO manner.
If one user has a report that take long time other users has to wait for that time.
Can it is possible to run reports in multitasking manner, i.e multiple report can be run simultaneously.

Run Reports Builder with a remote WLS

Can somebody know if Oracle Reports Builder 11g can connect with a remote WebLogic 10 server Reports instance?
How can I do that?

- builder will not connect to wls. for jsp reports development, it copies jsps to wls jsp deployment folder in same domain and runs (ie jsp runs in the wls container).
- yes, rwclient,rwservlet can connect to remote inprocess servers running in wls and can run reports in those reports servers.

Troubles running report builder 9I

I installed Oracle Developer suite 9I on a Windows 2000 machine. Each tool within the Developer suite is running on my machine except the Report builder.
When i try to start this application, i got a little flash screen and nothing more... The screen never disappears until i kill the rwbuilder process in my taskmanager.
I was expecting warning or failure message, but my screen stays blank..
Any suggestion?

which is the same as a colleague of mine and his Reports works with 9 Oracle homes, but under windows 2000 instead of XP Pro...
