How to set some line in ALV-OO as selected

Hi,
i use ALV-OO and will set some outputlines before first output as selected.
Example:
i have an output of 10 line. I will set line 2, 6, and 9 with default as selected because some valuy is greater as 1000.
I will set it befaore the first output. Is this possible?

But in second way i think in our case it's better to take editory checkboxes.

I'm creating a alv table where the user can enter a data and then this will be uploaded into the system. Now upon validation some records might fail and would need some changes and some records that had no problems would have been successfully posted.
When the program returns to the user i want the successful one's to be greyed out and not editable. I'm not sure on how i could acess the rows of the table. I tried few classes and an all i could manage was to change the table setting and configs.

In your context, apart from your display fields, add another attribute READ_ONLY, type char01. And lets assume you want the field by name field_1 to be editable or not based on some validation. Your code will be like this to initialize the ALV.

In your event handler, you read your node, do a get_static_attributes_table. Perform all validations. Loop through your internal table and set the field READ_ONLY as 'X' when validation succeeds. Do READ_ONLY = space when validation fails. Then do a bind_elements. Now the rows for which read_only is false, will be editable and vice versa.

if the data is multiple i.e. line items choose table.
if the data is single i.e. fixed choose template.

> select display framed patterns
Choose u r required one.
out lined, or full lined. u can choose option.

when you create a table keep the readonly property of table as false
you create the columns of table as inputfield.you bind the readonly property of
the inputfield to two context variables
say one for all the columnfields you to want always have as readonly and let this contextattribute of type boolean and let this be attr1
and another for all the columnfields you donot want to be readonly and let this contextattribute of type boolean and let this be attr2
initially set the context attributes attr1 and attr2 as true so the entire table is readonly.
based on the condition you want to check change the attr2 to be false.
if(your condition)
wdcontext.currentcontextelement.setattr2(false);

I tried making the wa_fieldcat-edit = 'X' But in vain.
Also i made the layout fields wa_layout-edit = 'X' and wa_layout-edit_mode = 'X'.
But still the alv tree field appears as display.
As you have mentioned in the post as answered, So please guide me to make the field editable.
I am using oops method.

I only know how to set line color with a single color.

what I need to implement is two colors interleave on the dash line.

Please can any one tell me how to print some text in the existing alv program to the second line of every record.
the header is there but it is empty.In the data,

This is not possible in ALV.
When you say some text I assume the text is not in the same columnar format as the list is.
ALV supports only a columnar format (except for subtotals).
You can add the text to the ITAB by parsing the text to the record. It is not going to look good if you do that.

hence i tried to give

     so i cannot insert horizontal lines in the first secondary list according to my sorting condition, i.e., in a single block there should be :
       if same delivery challan number is repeating they should come in the same block,
for the corresponding delivery challen number, if have po number, is repeating , they also should come in the same block.

How to set summable field in ALV

Dear ABAPers,
I find report that use ALV to show the output. Using my id the field with number type is summable (using ALV sum functionality) but using other id, it can't. Does anyone know how to set this functionality? I read several posting that this one is achieveable by setting up t_field_cat-do_sum = 'X'. But with this set up, it shouldn't have difference when I run by my id and other. I suppose there is something in ALV setting that need to be configured. Please let me know if there are any idea about this issue.

We don't set user specific layout. I am afraid there is some authorization code set in the program and it determine ALV activities on different user. Are there possibility of it in ALV?

How to create blank line in alv output

Iam getting alv output with currency values like below

My requirement is to create blank line after text3. Since its currency field even i claer work area iam able to get 0.0.
If i use no-zero in field catalog i will be able to get blank values for all 0.0, but thats not required.

If i use no-zero, then all 0.0 will be replaced by blank, but that is not required.
I want only blank line to be displayed after set of line items.
Skip doesn't help in alv. Secondly if i append blank work area i will be getting 0.0 as it is a currency field.

How to suppress some lines from printing

Dear all
I have a problem of suppressing some lines in a character mode report depending on some condition. E.g. say I have 5 lines per record to be printed. Say Name, Add1, Add2, Add3, City. Now depending on a condition, I don't want to print Add2, instead Add3 and City should move upward one line resulting only 4 lines in the report. Like wise there may be only two lines in the report, Name and City only.
How to accomplish this task? Thanks in advance.

Field Becomes grayed after some lines in ALV

Hi All,
My question is:
I have prepared a ALV output with some fields editable (means i have handle the style and layout at cell level)
ALV is in the docking container
ALV comes in the 50% of the screen area.
Now, I am trying to change the data by entering some values in the editable cells and then press enter
Good part is:
Upto some certain rows, i am able to change the data in the ALV and no unusual behavior found regarding style and layout
Bad is:
When i am trying to enter the data in editable cell (Say this is row 30) after some lines and press enter then correspoding row cell becomes grayed (Which generally should not be).
if i again repeat the same action for next line (Say this is row 31) then results becomes similar for line 31 as for line 30 but at the same time LINE 30 becomes fine.
Note: Technically, data change method is implemented correctly. No style has been changed during this action.

Just a guess..are you entering right type of data into the cell
