Problem
The ExchangeProfile contains the wrong HTTP port and host name for WebAs.
The error also occurs if the host name is changed after the initial maintenance of the ExchangeProfile. For example, the error occurs if a new host name is determined on a system that is operated by a hosting partner and that can be contacted from the customer network. In this case, the exchange profile must be modified as described below.
Solution
Check the following property under "RuntimeWorkbench" in the ExchangeProfile:
com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpport
and, if necessary, set it to the value that the ICM monitor displays as the HTTP port of the WebAs (Transaction SMICM -> Goto -> Services).
You also need to fully identify the host name in the property
com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost

How to set the alert

Hi All,
                     Based on the below criteria i want to set the alert
Select U_SDate,U_EDate from [@PROJ_DET]

so, in the first row the project planned is 30 days..so i want to set a alert like if the current date comes to 2008-10-10(i,e before 20 days)....i should show a alert....can anybody suggest me some ideas like how to set these alert before completion of the project before 20days of U_Edate.

How to set up alerts for mobile email on Samsung Reality?

Hi,
I was wondering how we could set up to receive automatic alerts for new incoming emails on a Samsung Reality?

Here is how to enable your alerts.
1. From the Mobile Email application, select the desired email account then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose Select.
If prompted enter the username and password, then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose Sign In.
2. Press the right soft key to choose Options.
3. Select Settings then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose Select.
For AOL / AIM select Preferences.
4. Select the desired setting then press the right soft key to choose Save.
To disable the email alerts:
Select Disable or Never.
To enable email alerts:
Select Enable or Always.
To receive email during a desired time interval:
Select Only During then enter the desired time interval.
This setting may not be available on all handsets or accounts. Hope this helps

How to set an alert for unauthorized ClearPass login

Q: As a network administrator, how do i set alerts for a unauthorized access to ClearPass server (via SMS or Mail) ?
A: A network admin would want to know, if someone unauthorized is trying to access the ClearPass server. The solution below explains, how a SMS/Mail alert can be set on ClearPass server for the same.
Manual to way for a admin to check ClearPass login is via Event Viewer. Here the Alert level is WARN for a invalid login.
However for an automatic alert, we need to take following steps:
In order to send alerts via Mail, we need to configure SMTP server on ClearPass
2. In order to send alerts via SMS we need to configure SMS gateway
3. Now once the Mail and SMS config is done, we need to set Alerts. For that we need to navigate to CPPM > Administration > Server Manager > Server Configuration > Cluster-Wide Parameters > Notifications
4. Here the system alert level is set to WARN (same for a Invalid login attempt) to capture unauthorized ClearPass login attempts.

Since my goal is to have the alert BEFORE, so if someone typed in a text, they should see the alert and correct themselves to type in a number instead.

How to set an 'alert' or reminder message for end-user Acrobat X form.

Hi,
I'm trying to see if I can add an alert or reminder message for the end user who will be filling in a form that I'm creating from Acrobat Pro X.
Does it require a script if so, could anyone share one that is already exists?
If it doesn't need a script, how can I set that up?
What I want to do, is to remind end-user to fill in Numbers Only and not text. I have already set my properties for numbers only and provided an example. But, In-case end users did not understand, I'd like to have a message for them to say that they must type in number and not text.
Currently, with the limitation I've made, they couldn't type in any letters but, they might be frustrated and not fill in anything!

How to set default alert time?

Whenever I set up a new calendar item on iCal and want to set an alarm one or more days before the event, the alarm defaults to 11:45PM. I would like to change this default time to something like 9:00 am. I've checked preferences but don't see any way to do that.
Any suggestions?

Go iCal Preferences/General and click the default alert tick box at the bottom. You can then adjust the amount of minutes before the event for the alarm. NB. ticking the tickbox means you get an alarm for every entry.

How to set the default button of an ALERT

Can someone help me how to set the alert propety to change the default button from button1 to button2.Not from the prioperty palette, but inside the code using like set_alert_property.I am using the Oracle Forms 10g.

To the best of my knowledge, the default button cannot be set at runtime. This must be set at design time in the Builder.

Can't set an alert for my Reminders

I have gone into reminders and set a new reminder (Things to do tonight) with 4 items in the list.
I have spent the last 20 minutes trying to set a time for the reminder to alert me/remind me but I can't for the life of me figure how to set an alert!
I feel like a retard ... clearly I'm just slow and it's looking me right in the face...
How do I set my reminder to remind me????

How to receive an Alert when a Purchase Order is added?

Hi all,
I am wondering how to set an alert so that it will trigger when a P.O. is added. Really all that needs to be displayed to the alert recipient is the DocNum, CardName, and DocTotal of the P.O. I know how to generate a list of P.O.'s entered for the day, week, etc., but really all I want to happen is as follows:
1. A user adds a Purchase Order.
2. An alert is displayed to whoever I select that shows that user the DocNum, CardName, and DocTotal for that specific P.O.; it only needs to be displayed once, and it only needs to show the most recent P.O.
Any help on how I can acheive this? I think the answer is likely very simple.

Hi Jim,
What would be the reason you need this as an Alert.
One of the things you should try is to minimise number of alerts in the system. Mainly because Alerts can substantially slow the system and also the system takes longer to login as the Alerts are checked when the user logs in.
This I am saying because of my practical experience implementing B1 for many years now. I could give you an answer to your question which provides very minimal value without any reasoning to it.
As far as possible try to use out of the box options and one good option for this is to use the Open Items Report and check for Open PO's

Have problem setting Email alerts for Calendar events. Warning message says I need to set up a card in Contacts with my email. I do but it doesn't recognize it. How do I indicate the email I want alerts sent to?

The system of setting up email alerts for Calendar events worked fine in Snow Leopard but since I upgraded to Mt. Lion Calendar won't let me set email alerts. When I try, I get an error message saying I need to set up a card in Contacts for my email. I have a card set up in Contacts for both of my email addresses but it doesn't recognize them. Perhaps the name I have on the card doesn't match a name that Calendar is looking for. Calendar doesn't seem to have a way in Preferences or elsewhere to indicate the email I want alerts sent to. Any ideas how I can get this system working again? Thanks for your help.

Does anyone know how to set alerts in the iCloud calendar on Microsoft Outlook 2010 for a PC? Outlook gives me a warning message and does not allow me to save alerts for calendar events created in iCloud calendar. It will allow me to save events in the non-iCloud calendars.

I just tested it and i had the reminder on my ihpone in outlook and also as i had the calendar open in safari it popped up on there too ( I wasn't aware it did that)
