How to show TITLE of column?

not sure on the numbers terminology but can anyone help me find where i turn on the ability to see the TITLE of the columns when i am not looking at an area that includes these?
right now if i scroll way down i can see the ALPHABET but i need to see the name that i have given to the column in ROW A or i cannot tell where to paste information.
does that make sense?

i am having a bit of a time with this one.
i hit the "header row" icon (the one with the grey bar on top) and this created a ROW 1. I copied what is now Row 2 which is where i had my COLUMN TITLES and /pasted/ this into Row 1.
now i am looking for a "freeze header row" option because i cannot see this ROW 1 when i scroll down (I can only see the A, B, C, D etc) when i scroll down.
when i click on the header row button there is no option to freeze and this is the same for when i go to the Table pulldown. in the table pulldown both "repeat header rows" and "repeat header columns" are checked.
am i supposed to somwhow /replace/ the ABCD etc with my COLUMN TITLES to get this to work...?

Why dont you use WAD and then switch off these properties in Webitem paging properties.
i think that would give you more flexibility with paging,scrolling but with some extra effort of creating a WAD

How to show title of link that is drag and dropped into messages (like it was in iChat)

I recently updated from Lion to Mavericks and with that came the change from iChat to Messages. My problem that I have is that back when I had iChat I could just drag and drop links (example from Reddit) into the chat window and then the link would be shown with the link title from the website instead of just the address.
Is there a setting I can change to get this back? Right now I am having to hand type all the titles/descriptions and then provide the web address.

I was thinking through how I have sent Links for web sites in ichat in the past and if I had changed now.
I have always Copied and Pasted the URL and had not tried Dragging the URL to iChat/Messages.
I have just tried from my Snow Leopard computer to my Mavericks one and I see the full URL at the snow Leopard end and the Mavericks end (using Bonjour)
However If i Drag a link from on a Page then that title to the link is what I see.
It also works from Mavericks to the Snow Leopard computer.

How to show or Hide Generic Column in a regular report

I have created report based on "SQL query (pl/sql function body returning sql query). It returns columns based on some conditions. I have total 60 generic columns like (COL1,COL2....COL60) but it returns 18 or 20 columns based on my conditions, how can I hide the columns that I don't needed. My column heading is based on function return by ':' separated. My function returns number of columns also. Is there any we I can show only those columns which contains data. My report is exactly similar to the default "SQL query (pl/sql function body returning sql query). I didn't find any logic how they are doing this show and hide. I appreciate any ones help.

Hi there,
Somehow you need to find out how many columns your dynamic select will return (by what you said it seems that your procedure returns this information). Then store that number in a hidden page item, say Pnn_COUNT.
Then, for the 19th and 20th columns in the report add these conditions:
Column 19: :Pnn_COUNT >= 19
Column 20: :Pnn_COUNT >= 20

You have to put table name in Capital letters

I'm trying to show the content of a MS Word document through forms 6i. This document was stored as byte-for-byte by an application developed in .Net to an BLOB column (oracle table). Anybody could help me in how to show this document using Internal Persistend LOBs and through forms 6i?
I've been searching for it a lot of time without success...

I've read about using the ole2 item, but I don't how to do it with BLOB files. I tried to use it and didn't work... I don't know if I've used it correctly or not. Could anybody give a sample, please?

Data source contains the field Amount in local currency (Data source is flat file of CSV format)

I have to get this value in target like below( value and unit should be in different columns)

Can any one help me how to declare the data type for Amount in local currency and how to show this value in two columns in the target.

I created a diagram in ERD but can't find how to show in the diagram the column types. It only shows the column names but doesn't show if this is a varchar2, integer,etc or if this can be null or not. Please help.

the idea is that entities are logical objects. Although you can designate a "format" for an attribute, it's really more of a physical model/implentation concept.
So the answer to your question is No.
However, If you wanted to use a Server model Diagram there is a lot more information associated with it.
And since it is a actual model of the DB then you will have your foreign keys in the child tables.

You can try the Feature Requests forum, but to be honest I don't see what's
the big deal. As you showed in your screenshots, a single click on the Help
menu reveals the version, and if you click on the "About" item, you'll get
all the full version info. And since you can't have more than one version
of Acrobat on the computer, there's no real chance of accidentally using
the wrong version.
