How to Shutdown Composite from BPEL

Hi,
I have two composites, one is consuming the messges and routing them to another BPEL,
The second BPEL is invoking a third party system, If suppose that third party system is down, Then
can someone help me in knowing , how to shutdown the first composite from this invoking BPEL? so that i can stop consuming the messages and the messages will pertained in TOPIC.
Thanks,

Hi Albin,,
I have started creating the class with the same code you have shared.
But i am getting null pointer exception when i ran this..
i am seeing the query result as empty,
I am not sure what are you doing here in the below.
Set queryResult = m_connection.queryNames(new ObjectName("*:j2eeType=CompositeLifecycleConfig,*"), null);
Can you please tell me what is ""*:j2eeType=CompositeLifecycleConfig,*"".. may be i need to change this config so that i can avoid null pointer.
Thanks,
SV

  • How run reports JDE from BPEL using the Adapter for JD Edwards OneWorld?

    Hi,
    I need to load on line a lot of invoices from Bpel to JD Edwards using the Adapter for JD Edwards OneWorld (iWay).
    Using Business Functions as Web Services it wasn't a not good idea because of this Adapter is poorly constructed and doesn't allow simultaneous loads, a memory leak occurs on JDE server. And to load them invoice by invoice is very slow.
    A choice is to use Z tables and load them through schedules, but Bpel loses total control.
    I heard that I can run processes reports that enable to extract the data from the Z tables and load them into JDE.
    How can I execute reports JD Edwards invoked from BPEL using the Adapter for JD Edwards OneWorld?
    Thanks

    Hi Dario,
    BizTalk 2013 R2 (JDE LOB Adapter) is not tested against latest release of JDE EnterpriseOne 9.1.
    It only supports with 8.12 and 9.0 version of JDE.

  • How to a composition from project insert into the current composition?

    How to a composition(specific name) from current project insert into the current composition?

    Good point about checking the name of the current comp, but then you don't need to enter the loop if the name ofthe object you find is the name of the current comp:
    function insertComp(name)
         var proj = app.project;
         var comp = proj.activeItem;
         if ( comp != null && comp instanceof CompItem)
              var foundIt = null;
              var curItem;
              if(comp.name != name)
                   for(var a=1; a<=proj.numItems && foundIt == null; a++)
                        curItem = proj.item(a);
                        if(curItem instanceof CompItem && curItem.name == name)
                               foundIt = curItem;
                   if (foundIt != null)
                        app.beginUndoGroup("Insert Comp");
                        try
                             comp.layers.add(foundIt);
                             alert("All done!");
                        catch (err)
                             alert(err);
                        app.endUndoGroup();
                   else
                        alert("Not found");
              else
                   alert("Can't add item to itself.");
         else

  • How to call jsp from bpel

    Hi,
    My application is to call jsp from bpel and connect to database is it possible?
    Thanks,
    A

    Your requirement really has very little to do with BPEL.
    Every BPEL process is also a web service. So what you want to do is call a web service from a jsp.
    The steps would be:
    1. Use Jdeveloper to build a web service proxy class around the BPEL process wsdl. (the WSDL tab for the BPEL process exposes the WSDL to you)
    2. Call the methods in the web service proxy class from your jsp.

    Neil.

  • How to return stream from bpel process

    Hi,
    As per my requirement I need to generate a file it could be pdf /text and then send this file as output of my bpel process.
    I am not getting any document which provide me any solution.
    Please help me out ASAP.
    Thnaks,
    Ana

    To try and make myself clearer on what I'm trying to say, create a simple use case
    1. create an empty BPEL process
    2. Create a read file adapter using the opaque schema
    3. Create a receive to that partner link
    4. create a write file adapter using the opaque schema
    5. create an invoke for that write partner link
    6. create an assign that copies the receive varible to the write variable.
    Now test this, you can place any file in the read location and the file should look exactly the same in the write location. Hopefully this explaind the opaque schema.
    If you want to convert to pdf then you need to create a custom app to do this this can be placed in the middle of the process. Create a java web service that accepts base64binary and reponds bas64binary. You java app will need to convert what this is into pdf format and respond in binary format.
    You just use simple assign activities to map opaque with base64Binary.
    hope this helps

  • OSB proxy service Calling OSB proxy service from BPEL

    Dear team,
    Wehave a requirement to call a Wsdl based OSB proxy service with sb protocol from SOA Composite from BPEL process.
    We created a wsdl based OSB proxyservice with sb protocol and deployed to OSB development server.
    We tried to export the wsdl and corresponding xsd files. sbconfig.jar got created.
    When we extracted the sbconfig file and placed the wsdl and xsd into the SOA composite.
    When we are trying to create a partnerlink, that OSB proxy service wsdl is not showing up.
    Please suggest.
    How to call OSB proxy service from BPEL..

    Hi,
    Here either you need to change the protocol from 'sb' to http or use the Direct Binding in soa-composite.
    please refer this links:

  • Propagation of ECID from BPEL to external Composite synchronously?

    Hi,
    I am trying to show external composite instance in the flow that is called and created from another instance,by using the same ECID.
    How can I propagate ECID value from BPEL to external composite synchronously in SOA project?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    the soa suite normally propagates the ECID automatically in the SOAP message headers. Which version of the SOA Suite are you using?
    maybe one of this links can help you with your requirement:

    2. Is it a must to deploy this EmpService to Oracle BPEL domain in order to call it? If so, how can I deploy it. As many BPEL example tutorial demonstrate the "obant" command to deploy the BPEL process, but not show how to deploy a external web service not in BPEL project. Please help. ...

  • HOW TO CALL A WEB SERVICE OR EJB FROM BPEL

    HI
    i want to call java web service or ejb from my bpel process. how can i do this.
    i am using oracle soa10.1.3.1.0 and jdeveloper 10.1.3.1.0 and oracle database xe 10g.
    thanks in advance K ROY

    You could deploy your EJB or Java under a web service into your OC4J, after that, you invoke a partnerlink from BPEL to the destination of wsdl will do. Also don't forget to add in your XSD schema as well.

  • How To : Call External Webservice from BPEL and pass SOAP Message to the WS

    Hello All-
    Greetings to all BPEL gurus. I am currently facing difficulties in calling an External Webservice from my BPEL Process and passing SOAP Message to it. The details are below:
    <strong>1. The BPEL process, using database polling feature of DB Adapter, will get the records from the database.</strong>
    <strong>2. Transform the message</strong>
    <strong>3. Call the External Webservice and pass the transformed message as the input to it. However the Webservice expects the BPEL process to send SOAP headers in the input message.</strong>
    I am struggling on how to put the transformed message within a SOAP envelope in the BPEL process.
    If anyone had similar requirements and have successfully been able to send SOAP messages from BPEL process to an external webservice, kindly let me know.
    Also if there is some kind of documentation or any link in the forum that I can refer, please let me know that as well.
    I am new to Webservice integration using BPEL and would really appreciate your help.
    Thanks In Advance

    Hi Dharmendra,
    I am trying to send a SOAP message from my BPEL process to a web service. I have a complete SOAP message in a complex variable defined in the wsdl for the partnerlink (web service). My problem is that when I invoke the partnerlink it fails even though the content shown in the BPEL console looks valid.
    I have set up obtunnel to see what I am actually sending out from BPEL. You mention that BPEL creates the SOAP envelope automatically.
    I think that my problem is a result of this automatic SOAP envelope that BPEL is creating. Do you know if there is a way to turn it off?
    This is what I see in the TCP monitor, please note the double SOAP env:Body:
    <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <env:Body> <RCMR_IN000002NR01 xmlns="urn:hl7-org:v3" xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:wsa="http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing" xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd">

    Should have mentioned. I am using BPEL 10.1.3.4

    I have opened a new thread for this question so as to not confuse the issue more than necessary.

  • How to call ESB asynchronously from BPEL

    Hi,
    I have ESB that take input and returns output and fault. As while creating ESB we can not specify as sync esb or async esb. So how would i invoke ESB asynchronously from BPEL?

    ws-addressing is not supported in ESB, so you can not expose ESB as call/reply later, so there is no question of calling from BPEL asynchronously.
    ESB does support store and forward pattern (async), to call such ESB it is simple as calling any other web service.

  • How to read values from Property file into BPEL process local variable?

    I would like to use a Property file with some parameters e.g.
    <myparm1>12345</myparm1>
    How can I read from a BPEL process such a Property file and assign it into e.g. local variable "intparm1"?
    Where (in which directory) should I put this XML Property file to have it always available for reading?
    Peter

    Hi,
    You can also use
    ora:readFile( ) function as follow :
    ora:readFile(xml file location (ex. "file:///D:\\SOA\\FileAdapters\\readFile\\test\\test.xml"),xsd file location (ex."file:///D:\\SOA\\FileAdapters\\readFile\\test\\test.xsd"))
    inside the assign activity and assign this to the variable you want.

  • How to read the 'full resolution composite' from a .psd file?

    I'm working with 16-bit .psd files and have the "maximize compatibility" switch turned on in CS2. When a file is saved, a message box appears indicating that PS is generating a "full resolution composite." I'd guess this is stored in the .psd file somehow, because some of the 3rd party image viewers are able to display the image when the compatibility switch is used, but are unable to display the image otherwise.
    My question is: how can I read this full resolution composite from the .psd file outside of Photoshop?
    If this is the wrong forum to post this question, I'd appreciate it of you'd tell me a better place.
    Thanks,
    Dave H.

    As you guess, it is stored in the PSD, but only with the Maximise Compatibility switch. Without that switch, a dummy image is stored which has the text "This layered Photoshop file was not saved with a composite image.", in English, German, Japanese and French.
    My program
    psdparse extracts each layer in an 8-bit file as a PNG, and the merged image for both 8- and 16-bit files. That link is to a Subversion repository containing source code.

  • How to call PL-SQL script/stored procedure from BPEL?

    Assume I want to call a PL-SQL stored procedure from BPEL.
    How can I do this?
    Is there a simple "Hello world" example for this?
    Peter

    The database adapter supports calling stored procedures. There is an example called "File2StoredProcedure" that you can use as a reference to get started.
