How to stabilize with 1 null containing pos, rot, scale?

I've manually tracked my characters face, via a null positioned at the bottom of his nose line, and the bottom of his inner ear line. Attaching my mouth shapes to that track works great and demonstrates that it's a good track.
Now, I want to redo the eye animation. So, I want to stabilize the animation based on my face tracker. However, I need a two point stabilize track, and I've only got 1 null.. I duplicated the null, stripped its animated properties, repositioned it to the tip of the track null, and parented it to the track null.
I tried setting up an expression on attach point 2, but it's not working correctly.
toWorld(thisComp.layer"NULL_Diego_End").transform.position)
I've also tried toComp, fromComp and fromWorld - none of them change the value of the parented null's position.

Nope... My nulls are 2d. No 3d... My problem is: how to read out the world coordinates of a layer that is parented... Right now, all the transforms of the child are zeroed, so the child's positional values are different than it's world value. (ie [0,0] as opposed to [200,310]
I need more than just linking the y positions... I also have rotational and scale values, and dunno how to calculate for that - I'm a bit flakey on my cos & sin math.....
I've already finished this current project, I'm just wondering for a solution for next time. Rather than stabilizing the original footage and time remapping the animated eyes, I created my own via shape layers.
Frequently, I use this 1 null method when tracking a character's face and I'm replacing eyes and lipsync - manually track it with 1 null using pos, rot, and scale. Move the null into 1 stationary position (tip of nose is usually good). Then, find another stationary bit (tip of inside ear is usually good for me as well), and rotate and scale the null, so that it reaches that other point. Then you just need to manually adjust the values as the animation progresses. After that, just parent the new mouths and eyes to track and you're done. It's quick and simple.. But it has it's drawbacks, such as this situation, where I'd like to stabilize the original animation based on only 1 null containing pos, rot, and scale (2d). I've had hit and miss success when using AE tracker for facial features...

If I understand you currently you want to charge an additional component price for certain products.
Is the added price varies with different products or is it the same for all, are you also shipping an additional product or component with those products?
Without knowing the answers to above question a simple approach you might want to try is create a scenario to add a sku when certain products are added to cart.
Define a price for the hidden SKU, In you page hide the hidden sku from being displayed.

How to deal with NULL when using OCI

How does one create a user with a null password in iManager?

I'm setting up LDAP authentication and need to create a user with a null password.
If you do not put a password in the password field when creating the user in iManager, a message pops up stating, No password has been defined for this user.
You are given a choice of:
Allow user to log in without a password
- or -
Do not allow user to log in without a password
If you choose Do not allow user to log in without a password, there are no complaints.
When I look at the properties of the newly-created user, however, I note that the "Require a password" checkbox is not filled in.
That would imply that the answer to the question posed during the user's creation is moot; either answer produces a user that can log in without a password.
I can then assign the Common Proxy password policy to the user, which does not dictate a minimum length for a password.
From that point forward, any attempts to leave the password field blank in iManager results in another pop-up message stating:
"Failure to enter a password will allow the user to login without a password."
That implies that no password exists for the user, as opposed to a null password.
Is that correct or are the public and private key for the user object still generated?

If you do not specify a password, which is what happens when you select
the 'Do not allow user to log in without a password' option initially, the
user cannot login. A user with no password (meaning no password exists at
all, similar to a 'null' in programming) cannot login with a password
because, of course, they do not have a password.
If you specify a zero-length string as the password you are effectively
(and usually) creating a proxy user, for example to be used for the LDAP
service in eDirectory, and this user can login typing in a password (since
typing would imply one or more characters) but nevertheless there IS a
password, but it happens that it is zero-length, so typing nothing for the
password IS submitting the correct password. This is the option carried
out by eDirectory when you choose, 'Allow user to log in without a
password' (the prompt is a little misleading with its "without a password"
phrase).
Once you assign a UP policy you are telling the system that there SHOULD
be a password on the user (and with common proxy there definitely should
be, probably a strong one at that) so the only option now is whether or
not the password is zero-length or longer. Obviously longer is the
correct option for security reasons.

How to deal with 0...n or 1...n mappings?

I'm relatively new to BPM. I've already made several processes that are working fine. However, I'm now stuck because, for the life of me, I'm not able to understand how to deal with data mappings of nodes of a cardinality greater than 1...1.
I'm used to dealing with 0...n inputs of Web Services in Webdynpro Java and CAF Application services, using java code... but I just don't get how to deal with these in a BPM data mapping scenario.
Let's say you have a Web Service whose input is a node called "Employee", where you can add n Employee objects, like this:
   Employee (0...n)
      FirstName: String
      LastName: String
How do you:
1- map a 0...n context node from a Web Dynpro or Web Service output, already containing several employees, into this Employee 0...n WS input node?
2- map a 0...n context node from a Web Dynpro or Web Service output, containing NO employees, into this Employee 0...n WS input node, without getting an error and the BPM crashing because it says the employee element is not found?
Hopefully someone can help me with this, because I'm about to go the way of calling the web service n times, one employee at a time, instead of one time with a Employee object with n registries in it.

i think i should have mentioned this earlier. My Employee node is inside another node. So, the actual input structure of the WS is this:
InputValues (1...1)
   Employees (0..n)
      FirstName: String
      LastName: String
This scenario works OK in BPM when mapping a 0..n node using deep copy as Jocelyn explained, but I still doesn't work if I want to pass an empty (not null) Employees array.
If I go to the WS Navigator and run this WS with the following parameters, it runs ok (I get an output message saying no employee was selected, which is how it should work):
InputValues - "Is null" checkbox not activated.
   Employees - "Skip" checkbox not activated
      FirstName - "Skip" checkbox activated
      LastName - "Skip" checkbox activated
However, if instead of activating the checkbox of, say, "FirstName", I enter a "" value, I get an error from the WS saying that's not a vaild first name, which is also how it should work.
In java code, I would just pass an empty InputValues object to the WS, but I'm not sure how to do this in a BPM without it being considered null, and without having to set on of its String-child values to "".
Do you know how to achieve this?

How to replace BLANK or NULL values in rule file

I have a source file which contains Blank or Null values which i need to replace them with a number "042" .How we can do this in the rule file using "Replace "(Field->Properties).I tried keeping spaces but its failing. I am actually new to essbase please let me know how we can do this.

Hi,
Unfortunately you can't replace blank/null/space values directly. What you need to do is add a text field in your rules file first, then merge the text field with the column containing blank/null/space. Then you can use some creative find and replace to solve this problem.
For example, I often add a column called "TextCleaner" to my rules files where I suspect b/n/s values. After merging there are 3 possible options for the value.
1) "TextCleaner" (The original value was null)
2) "TextCleaner " (The original value was space)
3) "TextCleanerUSA Region" (The original value was valid data, such as USA Region)
Now you can use the find and replace as follows
First, F&R to remove any instance of "TextCleaner" and replace with 042. Be sure to check the "Match Whole Word" button. This swaps null values with 42
Second, do the same thing but with "TextCleaner ". This swaps any space/blank values with 42.
Third, replace "TextCleaner" with nothing. Do not check the "Match Whole Word" button. This changes any original valid values back to the original value.

How to deal with the rule that do not use "object" class to declear a class

I run my flex project in sonar. And there is a rule "Do not use Object class ".
I just want to know how to deal with this problem.
I mean, when I try to write a base class, I don't know which kind of class will be transfered in by reference, which type I can declear instead of "object"?

We have deployed the SRM-MDM Catalog Search UI in Portal.
We tried accessing the http://<Portal Host>:<Portal Port>/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM
Then we got a screen (Search UI App screen), where in we have provided the MDM Server name, then the MDM Server Password, then presses the Connect button, then below this, it displayed the Repository name created in the MDM. We have selected the Repository, then provided the Credentials of a User (Name: T_CORP) in MDM which has "Catalog Manager", and the "UI Configuration Manager" Roles. Please note that these Role names were created by us in MDM. Is it the right procedure or do we have any standard Roles delivered by SAP in MDM to map? If any standard Roles are available, where we need to check these.
Once the Credentials of MDM User is provided, and then selected the "Login" button.
Then we are getting the below error.
"java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Table with Code 'null' does not exist in the repository 'Repository' or is one of the system table (e.g. Workflows) that is not exposed in repository schema"
Please clarify; we are not configuring any values in iViews. Where we need to do this, I mean name of the iView, and what values do we need provide generally? We are just running the Search UI App application; I don't think it is an iView, because the URL shows the Application name details, etc...
Please guide us, how to fix this Error.

How does APEX check for null values in Text Fields on the forms? This might sound trivial but I have a problem with a PL/SQL Validation that I have written.
I have one select list (P108_CLUSTER_ID) and one Text field (P108_PRIVATE_IP). I made P108_CLUSTER_ID to return null value when nothing is selected and assumed P108_PRIVATE_IP to return null value too when nothign is entered in the text field.
All that I need is to validate if P108_PRIVATE_IP is entered when a P108_CLUSTER_ID is selected. i.e it is mandatory to enter Private IP when a cluster is seelcted and following is my Pl/SQL code

Now I tried modifying my PL/SQL to check Private_IP against an empty string. But doesn't help. Can someone please tell me how I need to proceed.

How to deal with deadlock on wwv_flow_data table when http server times out

There are some threads about a deadlock on the wwv_flow_data table. None of them contain a real explanation for this behaviour. In my case I will try to explain what I think is happening. Maybe it helps somebody who is hitting the same matter.
In my case with APEX 3.2.1 I am navigating from one page to another. Doing this APEX will lock the table wwv_flow_data. As soon as the other page is shown the lock will be released. But now this other page contains a bad performing query (standaard report region). After 5 minutes the http server (modplsql) will time out and present the message "No response from the application server" on the screen. In the meanwhile the query is still running on the database server and the lock stays on the wwv_flow_data table.
Normal user behaviour will be that the user will use the back button to return to the previous page and tries it again to navigate to the other page or
the user will try to refresh the page with the bad performing query.
And voila now you will have a deadlock on the wwv_flow_data table since a second session is trying to do the same thing while the first hasn't finished yet.
How to deal with it?
First of all. Have a good look at the bad performing query. Maybe you can improve it that it will succeed before the http server will timeout.
In my case the 11gr1 optimizer couldn't handle a subquery factoring clause in the best way. After changing it back to a classical inline query the problem was solved.
Secondly you could increase the timeout parameter of the http server. Although this not the best way.
Maybe it would better if APEX in a next version would release the lock on the table wwv_flow_date earlier or do a rollback just before the moment that the http server is timing out.

I am trying to send image that was taken by getSnapshot. The problem is that the server respond with this HTTP 100 message.
I suspect that the reason that my server doesn't recognize the file that I'm sending from J2me is that the "server to client" response to the 100 message comes after the second message of (see what the TCPIP viewer shows down here):

I'm using CR 2008 and VS 2005.
I am using a stored procedure as the datasource for one of my report, which we run using the C# API.   The stored procedure is expecting a NULL in certain cases and I find I cannot pass a NULL with my current code:

How to find out the textframe contains "stroke color" (or) "fillcolor" via javascript. Kindly advise me with sample.

I know, this post is quite a while ago, but: This simply does not work for me. Neither for simple PathItems, nor for the characters of a TextFrame.
Working on: Illustrator CS5.5, Mac OS, Javascript
Simple example:

For PathItems there is the attribute ".filled" or ".stroked", which returns "true" or "false" and is reliable.

Is there anything similar for Characters? I tried this one, but it does not work (because I think it does not exist):

you could try using a Java Mapping to change the encoding manually. For that, set the encoding of the OutputFormat of the XML you'll serialize. Try the following code piece for the mapping (inside a try/catch declaration):

How do you use the "Item Containing Start/End Date" in a Calendar?

I want to do a calendar where the days shown will be conditional to a certain interval. Now I though I could achieve that using the Item Containing Start Date of a calendar. But it doesn't seem to work. In the help it says :
Enter an item in the application which holds the start date of the calendar. The format of the date in this item must be YYYYMMDD.
This is what I did here

I have 3 fields. 2 for the Start Date and End Date and 1 for the "Date Item" parameter. Only the latter has an effect on the calendar display, the calendar only displays the month of the "Date Item" (in monthly mode).
Wether or not I check "Begin at Start of Interval", it doesn't affect the way those fields are affecting the Calendar.
So, how do we use that "Item Containing Start/End Date" parameter?
