How to stop Radius/Tacacs service in ACS 5.2 ?

Hi, is there a way to stop the Radius/Tacacs service in ACS 5.2 from the GUI ?

There will be a more convoluted way to do it. Say for example want to do for RADIUS
- define an access service that should take all RADIUS request
- for identity policy authenticate against internal database and set the Advanced Option for "If user not found" to drop the request
This should silently drop all RADIUS requests
Can be done similarly for TACACS+

Software to test RADIUS/TACACS authentication to ACS server

Hi experts,
Is anyone aware of a software that will test RADIUS and/or TACACS authentication to an ACS server from a PC? Same as what you can do on the Cisco VPN concentrator from the page Configuration | System | Servers | Authentication | Test Screen.

If you look in the ACS utils folder you'll see radtest and tactest.exe
These can be used to generate test packets. If you install ACS on another PC you can fire requests from that other PC too.
I think Vasco (token card vendor) had a really nice GUI based RADIUS client too.

How to stop a web service inside a deployed EAR in Weblogic 10.3

Hi,
I want to stop a webservice from the weblogic UI console in Weblogic 10.3 but cannot find any link for the same kindly help me on the same.
Scenario is as follows
I can see my EAR deployed under Deployment tab, when I expand the same I can see the web service but there isn't any link available to explicitly stop only that particular web service.
Can I do this at all in weblogic if yes? Please suggest.

From Weblogic Admin Console, Deployments, on right side click on the link named with your EAR Application. It opens detailed page with more tabs. Click on the tab named Targets. Here select your WebService module and click on Change Targets button. Uncheck the server where it is targetted (Deployed), click on Yes. And activate the changes.

How to stop the remote service call

Hi
On loading a screen i place some service call, now i move to next screen , but still the service call is running, i have to stop or cancel the last placed service call.Is there any way to stop the service call with out disconnecting the channel.

Here are the solutions I can think of (if no one here responds with something better):
1. Open Settings and then Phone within the Settings screen and see if you can find a setting there for the call summary. The Phone submenu under Settings would be the most likely place.
2. Open Settings on your iPhone and go through each item including all of the items within each main item. Within about 10 minutes you should be able to get through all of the settings and find the setting if it exists on your phone. There is no such setting on my phone but it is possible that Airtel has a custom menu with that.
3. If you still haven't found it, you could check a) Airtel's support site and/or b) an Airtel specific forum.
4. If still no luck, I would call Airtel and ask again and if you get the same response ask for the location of the setting (or to speak to someone who can tell you).

How to configure ACS 5.2 for policy condition on TACACS+ Service

However, I found the behavior is different on our production environment. I found our ACS 5.2 was configured authorization rule with condition "TACACS+ Service" = "junos-exec". I don't know how to configure this on my ACS 5.2 Please guide me how to configure this.
I found there was NO TACACS+ "Authorization Request" when access via J-Web in our production SRX and ACS. However, there were TACACS+ "Authorzation Request" when access via J-Web in our production SRX and ACS. The difference between my lab ACS and production ACS is the authorization rule condition. In my condition, I configure with all "SRX" Device Type. but in our production ACS 5.2, it was configure to TACACS+ Service=junos-exec. so I like to test it in our lab to find out the difference. How to monitor Radius services on ACS 5.4

Hi All,
I want to monitor Radius services of ACS 5.4, In case of failure any radius service on ACS.
ACS should send alert to Syslogs or email notification
Is there any way to monitor Radius services ? Anyone have any idea how to monitor.

I dont think so there is any particular way you can do that, Because ACS 5.x doesnt have any particluar Radius service.
The services which are available and can be viewed through CLI and GUI are following:

Management (ACS management subsystem)
Ntpd
Runtime (ACS runtime subsystem)

View-jobmanager

Into the new "shell profiles" on ACS 5.2? How do I verify these attributes are passed onto ACS 5.2? I don't have access to a sniffer or tap nor do I have writes on this box. I have to instruct our systems folks to investigate. It has been a back and forth battle.
Also, I'd like to see where I'd map this on ACS 5.2. Keep in mind in both cases I have a JUNOS config mapping to a login user Engineer and operations respectively.

Can anyone guide me on how to start and stop the BI Services in Solaris 10. In windows there are options set in Start->Programs->Middleware_Home->Start/Stop BI Services.
Primarily after doing changes to the scheduler configuration, I need to restart the services to get it implemented? If yes how can I do it?

My start/stop scripts for Solaris looks like this.
Start:
rwserver.sh server=reportserver batch=yes
Note: batch=yes means that the extra control window doesn't start (at least on Unix)
Stop:
rwserver.sh server=reportserver shutdown=immediate authid=repadmin/reports
Just remove the .sh and it'll work on your PC.
PS. The complete Solaris start command I use is:
exec nohup rwserver.sh server=reportserver batch=yes &

How do I stop the Runtime Service (UNIX) for a period of time (24 hours)

Greetings
Environment:
OWB Client 10g on Windows XP Professional
Repository - 9.2.0.4 on UNIX (AIX 5.2)
Target schema - 9.2.0.4 on UNIX (AIX 5.2)
I need to stop the Runtime service for 24-48 hours while the database is being upgraded from 9i to 10g. It seems the running service is causing some problems as the database is being started and stopped by the upgrade process (dbma).
What starts the Runtime service at database startup?
How can I prevent it from starting for 24-48 hours?
Anyone else have issues upgrading from 9i to 10g using the migration assistant (dbma)?
I realize I can stop it with the stop_service.sh script but that won't prevent it from satrting by itself when the database is bounced.
I looked at the JOB queues but it doesn't seem to be there as a job that can be controlled with the DBMS_JOB package.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi and thanks for the responses.
In my case there have been no additions to the server startup script to start the Runtime service, it just starts when the database starts.
As I stated, I am aware of the start_service.sh and stop_service.sh but these don't prevent the service from starting after a reboot of the server or a bounce of the database.
Can anyone tell me how the Runtime service starts?
After a database shutdown and startup I see the Runtime service running as an 'ACTIVE' UNIX process and also one or more Runtime User processes that are 'INACTIVE' but become active when a map is run.
Any help is appreciated.
