Nokia Asha 200 phone is so good but i face some problem as streaming videos . Is there any sollution to stream videos ?

unfortunately some of the Asha series does not support online video streaming, and i believe that the 200 is one of them.

I have a Asha 201, which, I believe has the same spec as the 200 but can use only one sim card at a time. Thank you for providing the link for the device details for the Asha 200 but I can't see on that page were it says that the Asha can't stream or download video content. I've been have a row with Nokia over this issue for my 201. As late as yesterday I was told that the Asha can stream, but can't download by customer services. Finally got an email today telling me that the Asha's OS does not support video streaming. So you were perfect correct in your reply to the original message here. I think Nokia have got a cheek, as on the website for the Asha there is a youtube app on display which, surely implies that the phone can use the site. Anyway, if you could point me to the part of the page you provided that actually tells the customer no streaming, I be very grateful. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.
What is your current firmware version? You can check this by dialing *#0000#
Also try updating your software by connecting your device to Nokia suite and then going into tools and then software update. Update the software and this should resolve your echo issue.

hi, i repaired my nokia asha 200 and the software version was reduced to:
V 10.56
RM - 761
MA3 nokia.
and ever since then whenever i try the O.T.A. update it says "no new software found". please help me on this

You dont get it fam. The software version was on 11.something before. I mean i could ruduce and increase the brighness of the phone's screen. But ever since i repaired it, the version was reduced and i've been limited to a lot of stuffs, like most applications that require sending a text dont work anymore. This is sad . Is there a possible way out?

How to stream video AND sync Music + iPhoto from the same iTunes library ?

Hi everybody, my iTunes library is full of Music and with movies "linked" outside itself (to a external hard disk connected to my iMac), I'd like to sync this iTunes library to my AppleTV as follows:
1) the video should be set in streaming mode hence itself not being copied to ATV hard disk;
2) the music and my iPhoto library should be sync'ed (hence copied!) to ATV hard disk.
How could I achieve that ?

Hello I have a Mac Mini and want to use it as a media centre.
Here is my set-up. I have a 120GB SATA drive in a USB enclosure connected to my Airport Extreme base station. My Mac Mini (Power PC version) has 802.11g wireless built in and is connected to my TV. I control my Mac Mini via a bluetooth keyboard and bluetooth mouse.
On my 120GB drive I have a lot of movies in MPEG4, AVI and VOB format (DVD). To watch my movies I would start-up the typical application and then and navigate to the file on my 120GB harddrive. For most video files I use VLC but for my DVD's I like to use the Apple DVD player Application to get the full DVD experience (i.e. menu navigation, etc).
When I connected the USB drive directly to my Mac Mini I get smooth playback but over the wireless network playback is choppy. To me the simple solution is to have a buffer for playing the streaming content but I am not sure how to do this. I know that 802.11n may be good enough to stream DVD content and 802.11g is not quite fast enough.
I want to keep my drive connected to my Apple Extreme base station since I access the drive from both wired and wireless computers. Any help is much appreciated.

Hello thanks for your comments. I will try switching the channel and see what that does but in reality I was hoping to find a way (perhaps with software) to buffer the video I am watching the same way youtube does so that the playback is flawless.

I have a large (1-1/2 TB) library of movies stored on an external hard disc. How do I play these videos on my Apple TV. There is not enough memory on my iMac to move all the movies into iTunes. How can I move my iTunes library (music & video) to the external hard disc?

Hi @Elkayj. In order to play your videos and/or music on your Apple TV, you will need to turn On Home Sharing in iTunes. This will allow you to access your iTunes library on Apple TV, turn on Home Sharing in iTunes on your computer using your iTumes Apple ID.
As for moving your iTunes library to an external drive, you will no to go to iTunes Preferences and select Advanced. There you will see ITunes Media folder location. Click the Change button and select the external drive and directory where you wish to keep your media files. I would suggest you also check "Keep iTunes Media folder organized" and "Copy files to iTunes folder when adding to library".

How to stream video+audio cross platform on Windows and Mac OS? QTJ?

JMF doesnt seem to support video crossplatform so i searched around and found Quicktime java. But from an article I read that apparently for crossplatform only Macs can send streams to PCs and PCs can only listen as client but cant send. Is this true? Is there a way around it that PC and Mac can send to eacother ? any sample codes? thanks.

My special thanks to randers4 who saw the issue through my lens and advised about 'Organizing Library' and 'step by step guidance to the dummy.
Next part took me some time to figure out. I mention them here becauce it may be helpful to someone lime me in the future: bottom half of my left pane of iTunes was blank because of the use of the upward arrow at the bottom 'show or hide artwork...'. Because of that I was not able to see my phone listed there.
Secondly I had changed my email id and the phone and iTunes were not syncing. A dialogue box that appeared on the phone pointed it out Then I logged on using the updated logging password. Thereafter I follwed the step by step directions of randers4 and I could achieve my objective.
Thanks to Apple Support too for the message I saw when I connected the phone with the laptop that offered an option of changing the phone settings to its default.
