How to tell a song's apple ID owner

Hi,
I have an iPod with five users material on it; none of it from my own Apple ID.
As this is the maximum and I now want to get my own stuff on my iPod I need to delete some material from other users.
Basically, I have 12,000 odd songs to go through and I want to keep as much of the content as I can, so I've been looking for ways to see who each songs belongs to.
There are four users who's music I want to keep, but there's a fifth who I know I want to delete.
Therefore, is there any way I can see who "owns" each song so that I can delete this person's material and so add my stuff to my iPod?

Thanks, do you know if there's a way of telling the identity of the song if it was not purchased?
Alternatively, do you know if the number of apple ID's is counted by the number of purchased songs from apple ID or just if you took content from an apple ID.

Dont want to use 'Time and Pitch Machine' as I want to change tempo and see how they mix together...let's say starting mix from 130 and ending up to 138bpm.

I do not use a computer to purchase songs but rather purchase them straight from my iphone. I now would like to also use those songs on my ipod nano but I do not have a computer to sync the ipod with. How does a person put songs on their ipod without a computer? Thanks in advance for your help!

To use your Apple ID at the iTunes Store
Open the latest version of iTunes.
Choose Store > Sign In from the Store menu.
Enter your Apple ID and password, then click Sign In.
Click Review when asked to review your information.
Enter your billing information, a credit card will be required.
Click Continue when you're done entering your credit card and billing information.

I know ipad albums are more like tagging photos rather than putting them in folders. I just have a nagging feeling I missed some pics and I have too many to try to go figure out one by one. Nothing gets imported to iDevices.
Read the Users Guide for the device, specifically the section on syncing content to the device.

So, I've been going through some guilt and have been replacing copied songs with Apple Store purchases. However, some songs I am clueless about. Is there a way to tell what songs have NOT been purchases through the Apple Store (or, Amazon, for that matter)?

If you mean to check if one of your songs hasn't been purchesed by you yet, then one way to do it is going to iTunes and then to the iTunes Store. Once there, in iTunes 11.2.2, there is a column to the left labled QUICK LINKS. From there there are four imediate options: Account, Redeem, Purchased, and Support. If you click on purchesed, it will show you the songs you have bought from apple. Once you have clicked purched, there is also an option on the top right hand corner to show all of your purcheses or just the ones that are not on your mac.

iTunes 1.0.2 is +at least+ eight years old.
The current version is 9.2, and it's free.
If that was a typo, and you're using something more current:
In the iTunes preferences, change the import settings to mp3.
Then select the songs you wish to convert.
From the "Advanced" menu, choose "Create mp3 version".
When done, change the import settings back to Apple Lossless.
That's it.
BTW, this is the Logic Pro forum, which has absolutely nothing to do with iTunes.
