I need to figure out how to load the app store from one of my applications by clicking a button. The code is relatively easy to load say a website. But when I use this code:
-(IBAction)goToAppStore;
[[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://itunes.com/apps/appname"]];
it does not work, because it says too many redirects occurred.
Is there a way to load the app store (and load into a specific app info view) directly from the app, instead of loading a website to load the app store?

But I using the one line code I had too many redirects. So, I needed the latter code, which didn't load the app store until all the redirects have happened. Unfortunately I don't understand this code:

To delete an App, hold your finger on the app until all Apps start jiggle. An X will appear in the upper left corner of the App. Touch the X and the App will be deleted from your iPad. You can redownload the App anytime in the future as once you've bought an App, it's yours as long as you are using the same Apple ID.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

Be aware that photos should always be synced to a computer for archiving and that relying on a restore from an icloud backup may not return all (or any) of your photos. Once on the computer, you can sync the photos to the new device...

Although there is not a way to remove past purchases from your iTunes account completely, you can hide them so that you don't have to see them if you don't want to. This article will help you do that:
iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases - Apple Support
Hide your purchases
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
From the Store menu, choose Store > Sign In, and then enter your Apple ID and password.
Go to the iTunes Store.
Click Purchased from the Quick Links section on the right side of the iTunes Store.
Choose a content type by clicking Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, or Books from the top of the window.
A list of your purchased items for the content type you are viewing will appear. Mouse over the item you want to hide until an X appears its top-left corner.
A confirmation dialog will appear once you click the X.

They show in the camera roll, just not your computer?
Have you checked every folder that is in the DCIM folder?

Those aren't apps; they're bookmarks to websites. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? If all else fails, you can just re-do the shortcuts.

If you activated the Find My iPhone service (in Settings>icloud), and if the device's batteries still have a charge, the device is not turned off and has not been reset and is connected to the net, then you can try to track it. Using a computer's browser, log into icloud.com and look at the Find My iPhone page. Or - on a device, invoke the Find My iPhone app and log into the icloud account. Note: The Find My iPhone **app** does not turn on the service, you can only do that through Settings>icloud.
If the device is listed as "offline", then one of the requirements listed above is not met (like being connected to wifi, or if the device was stolen and the thief reset it).
