How to transfer my iPad from my iTunes account to my wife on her iTunes account.
Running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5, iTunes 11.0.1. Want to give my wife my iPad2. Don't want to share apps or songs; already reset the iPad2 and removed the apps. We have separate iTunes accounts. However, when i go into my iTunes account and go to the Manage Account screen, there is no option to list or remove devices, which i thought was supposed to be there. How do i remove the iPad2 from my iTunes account and then register/authorize it under her iTunes account?
Go to settings, App Store on ipad and click on the account listed then sign out. You should then be able to sign in with hers.

How do I delete iPad from an iTunes account
You don't have to delete the iPad from your iTunes account. What are you trying to do? Disassociate the device from your Apple ID?
If you want to remove the device form your Apple ID
iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID
Removing an associated device or computer from an Apple ID
To remove a device or computer from your Apple ID:
Open iTunes.
Sign in to your Apple ID by choosing Store > Sign In from the iTunes menu.
Choose Store > View My Account from the iTunes menu.
From the Account Information screen, click Manage Devices.
Click the Remove button next to the device name you would like to unassociate.
Note: Removing a device from your Apple ID does not override the 90 day timer. The timer must complete 90 days from the day the device was associated before it can be associated to another Apple ID. -
Two users, same pc, how 2 transfer music library from 1 itunes 2 another
both my wife and i have itunes on the same pc but i have an extensive library of music, how can i transfer all my music from my itunes into hers using ipod if needed
You don't say how your computer is set up, I'm presuming two separate Windows user accounts. You could do a couple of things, one is simply share your current library and you'll find a guide here:"How to share music between different accounts on a single computer" http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93195
Or if you prefer separate libraries, you could use your iPod to move a copy of your iTunes folder into the other account, the guide for that is here:http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300173-en -
How to transfer all songs from a user account to another
On the same Windows Vista computer, how to transfer / copy all music from one user account to another without using another computer or home sharing?
(Please also consider that the iPad will also sync with the new user account without losing any songs.)
Note: iTunes for Windows version 11.0.4.4Ivan H wrote:
I guess I can change 2. to:
Move or copy the iTunes folder from C:\Users\<User 1>\Music\iTunes to C:\Users\<User 2>\Music\iTunes, because I'll delete User 1 after done.
Yes, that would work too.
The iPad backups will not be transferred, am I right?
Hmm, I think you are right. If I recall the backup exists in the user profile, so that would be the case.
Is it sure that the iPad will be synced with User 2 without losing any songs?
Yes, but to be safe, backup and sync the device with user 2 before deleting user 1.
You should also maintain a separate backup.

I have been successfully using a single iTunes account to sync & back-up two different iPhones.
One of those iPhones belongs to a now ex-boyfriend (no longer living with me), and naturally he would like to transfer the back-up data for his device to a new iTunes account (Apple ID) on a different computer. While ongoing be able to sync, backup and update software for his iPhone on his computer.
Is this possible?
I understand that recovery of the current media on his phone (i.e. apps, music, photos, etc.) that are all stored on my computer through my iTunes account will likely not be possible, but he doesn't want to erase all the important data/content (i.e. contacts, calendar, etc.) on his iPhone without being assured that a previous back-up can be successfully restored using his new iTunes account/library.
I'm aware of the back-up location & files for his device and can provide those to him on an external USB drive, but can someone please advise exactly how the restoration/procedure should work? Or is there an alternative? That's kind of a strange way to things, even if it's what Apple told you to do.
Do this.
- Access your *local* library
- Go to iTunes->Preferences->Advanced
- Select "Copy Files...." and "Keep iTunes Media File Oroganized"
- Locate the files you want on the external disk
- Drag them into the "Library" area of your sidebar
This will put the files in your local library and copy them to your MB.
They will still be on your external hard drive. You will have to separately delete them from that library if you want to. -

How to transfer *some* media from one iTunes account to another?
I have two iTunes libraries - one on my MacBook Air, and one on my external drive. Why? Because I can't hold all of my TV shows and Movies on the MBA because of the small drive. What is the best way to move selected files between the two libraries - given that you can only have one Library open, at a time?
That's kind of a strange way to things, even if it's what Apple told you to do.
Do this.
- Access your *local* library
- Go to iTunes->Preferences->Advanced
- Select "Copy Files...." and "Keep iTunes Media File Oroganized"

2. How to transfer uTube tutorials from Mac to ipad mini
Be grateful if you advise stwp by step how to undertake both the above.
thank you
SueFurther to my last post re uTube for ipad i have just found information on Buzz Player HD as an app to play videos on my ipad. Apparently it plays all downloaded u Tube in any format?.
If you feel this is a good idea. Please explain what part vimeo u Tube app will be the scheme of things.
I apologise for silly questions - but I am not very technical and very confused about what some similar apps will do or not do and their overlap. What I need is an app that will do the necessary and delete the the unnecessary.
thank you

Re :- How to Transfer GL Balance from One A/c to Another Account
hii gurus
please tell me how to transfer GL balances from one GL Account to another GL Account. Could u tell me T- Code for the same.Hello
We transfer GL account balance from one GL a/c to another GL a/c in the following situations.
When the GL a/c need to be maintained in Open item Management, say GL a/c belongs to a Balance sheet item but you have forgot to check the Open Item Management check box and made entries to that particular GL a/c.
In this situation you cant activate the Open item Management when the A/C is having balance, so first u need to make the GL a/c zero balance and than check Open item Management check box, follow the following steps.
Create another dummy GL a/c, say ABC and the GL a/c which you want to make zero balance is having Dr Balance. Now make a posting using FB50 or F-02, you Dr the ABC GL a/c and Cr the other GL a/c so that the GL a/c balance becomes zero, now go to GL master and check the Open item Management check box. And again make posting through F-02 Crediting the ABC GL a/c and Debiting the other GL a/c.

how to transfer file from ipod touch to i tunes. i have files in my ipod , ut itunes is new so its telling if u sync the ipod all the files will be replaced but no files in the itunes.. so kindly help me how to transfer the files from i pod to itunes......
Some of the information below has subsequently appeared in a document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only media purchased from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):

How to transfer purchased item from itunes to an ipod
how to transfer purchased item from itunes to an ipod? Spent about an hour and cannot figure out how to do that The best result this far was smth. like this to Sync a book means that all your music, songs, TV show and movies will be erased. What a strange Apple logic!
That message indicate that you are trying to sync with other than the one syncing computer/iTunes library that yo can have. You have to two choices:
- Make this computer your syncing computer by:
Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive: Apple Support Communities
- The manual method of syncng specified here:
iTunes 11 for Windows: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad
or
iTunes 11 for Mac: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad
The manaul method on works for music and videos on other than your one syncing computer. -
