How to transfer the attributes of one page to other without using submit
hi friends,
I have faced a prob when i use submit to transfer the parameter from page1 to page 2 i can get the parmeter in page 2. But when u try to implement through action of onclick i cannt able to fetch the value of the parameter in the jsp page2. is there is any other option equivalent to request.getParmeterValues. in setting the attribute.
can any one give me the solution to overcome this prob it will be appreciated and thanked by me.
Hi Anand,
We can send request to server with submitting the page.
why dont you try using xml over http.
This is some thing like thru java script you can pass the values to some Servlet, construt the object there, while returning from the servlet just put your response thru printwriter pw object like pw.print(response);
In java script you can mensioned to retrieve the servlet result.
check the following code, it would help you
EXPLORER_xmlHttp = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.xmlHttp");
serverURL = "someUrl.com"+ "method=" + "callMethod.do";
EXPLORER_xmlHttp.open("POST",serverURL,true);
EXPLORER_xmlHttp.setRequestHeader("ClientType","HTML");
EXPLORER_xmlHttp.onreadystatechange = Return_Method_onready;
(control will come from servlet to the above method)
set the other headers what ever you want...
then set the input parameters
EXPLORER_xmlHttp.send(inputAttr);
from Servlet you get the response directly to the javaScript method which you specified.
this is how it works.

How to move the changes from one system to other without using CMS
Hi
In our project they are migrating NWDI 6.40 to NWDI 7.0.
During migration CMS won't be available.
Could you plesae tell what are the different options are there to move the WebDynpro changes from (NWDS) Development to Quality system and then production system without using CMS server?
If i will create a development package and import this packgae in Quality package will my new changes also be available in Quality server?
Thanks & Regards
SusmitaHi Susmita
I wasn't completely sure, but from your description of your problem, it seemed like you would have access to your DTR during your upgrade. The following solution assumes as much. If this is not the case, you'll need to do things slightly differently, but the solution will still be possible.
Depending on the scope and size of your changes, it may be practical for your developers to deploy directly from their NetWeaver Developer Studio (or for a designated administrator to install the NWDS and do the same). To do so, from the Development Configurations perspective, create a new NWDS project for each of the DCs you want to deploy. Then right-click the project and choose from one of the deployment options. (Deploy new archive and run will allow you to see if your deployment has taken effect.) When deploying, the target server is the one set up as your J2EE engine in the NWDS properties - you'll consequently have to modify this when the target server for your deployment changes (from QA to production, or vice versa).
Note that this is only applicable in certain situations, and only as a short term stopgap measure. This sort of practice - developers or administrators deploying haphazardly to servers other than those intended for development - is precisely what the NWDI is designed to prevent (and is one of very few things it's fairly good at doing). For instance, if your QA and production systems are attached as TEST and PROD runtimes systems respectively in your NWDI, a full assembly and subsequent full deployment would usually occur to these servers when deploying with the NWDI. This is a much stronger guarantee of consistency than the build that will be performed within your local NWDS to deploy your changes. (Conversely, the rigidity of the assembly is perhaps the NWDI's greatest design flaw.)
(Also, Snehal: thanks for the information on the sapmake_util blog. It's not something I've encountered before and looks very useful.)

How to transfer app data from one mac to another without using syncing of the iphone?
Right, recently I have tried to change which computer my Iphone syncs with so that my older mac can be sold or disposed of in some profitable form. I have successfully synced all of my music off of one mac onto another via home sharing at which point I connected my phone to my new computer which suggested that the phone needed a software update. Immediately after doing this I realised that my updated Iphone 3GS would no longer sync to my old computer and attempted to sync it just to confirm this- it failed and stated that the iphone could only sync with itunes 10.1 which is a higher spec than that mac can hold. I then feeling doubtful that things would work out tried to carry on as if this problem were absent but I later discovered that I could only transfer the apps that I had synced to my phone to my new mac and all unsynced apps appeared lost because as I stated previously I could not sync with my older mac which contains all of their data. I have consulted the online apple manual for the phone and all it states is the method of transferring purchases in itunes which I tried and is what lead to the copying of my synced apps on to my new mac. What I am asking is is their anyway that I can 'cheat' so to speak at app transfers. I know that somewhere on my old mac the files are stored with the information of the lost apps but I cannot locate them and would not know how to merge them into my newer itunes if I were to copy and paste them to a memory stick (assuming that this is the right method) Other than this is their any other way of downgrading the upgrades of an iphone or somehow tricking itunes into running a higher update than the computer spec? I've tried all I can and this is really annoying- please help!!!!!!
I'm not entirely sure what you're asking... I'll have to look on my Mac at home to see exactly where they are, but you should just be able to copy all the apps from your old machine to thumb drive or over the network and put them in iTunes on the new one, then sync. Right click on one of the apps in your iTunes library and choose Show in Finder. That will point you to where they are.
If you're asking how you can do this and maintain data contained 'within' the apps themselves (high scores, game progress, etc), I don't think there's any way you can do that. -

how to transfer the logins from one instance to another instance in sql2008r2
Hi Ganesh,
According to your description, you want to know how to transfer the logins from one instance to another instance for SQL Server 2008 R2. To do this, besides dave’s post, you could also use
'Copy Database Wizard' in SQL Server Management Studio, or the component
'transfer Login task' in SQL Server Integration Services.

How to transfer my iBooks from one ipad to other?
Purchased iBooks can be redownloaded on all devices. If they are not from the iBookstore, connect your iPad to computer and 'transfer purchases'. They should now be transferred to iTunes (or iBooks if you are using Mavericks). You can then sync using the other iPad.

How to Transfer the iPhone from one computer to another Win XP
All
I got my wife a new macbook pro, running Windows XP prof. She has an iphone 3G with 16 GB memory running 3.0.1. So..she wanted to transfer the sync function from her PC to her macbook. Of course, Apple was of NO help at all (but did want to charge us $69.95 since her iphone is out of warranty, and this was an iphone not a mac problem, hmmm..). Took me lots of digging, but here is how you transfer you iphone from one computer to another:
1. Move you itunes library from the old computer to the new one. To do this, you do NOT just copy it. This is as good a link to use as any to see how to do it, but search the internet and you can find instructions:
http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-12519_7-10242259-49.html
2. Transfer your applications you have purchased to the new computer. To do this, open itunes in the new computer, hook up your phone and click on File>transfer purchases (from itunes store) to computer. This will move your applications to the new computer.
3. Export your MS outlook calendar, contacts, notes, etc. to the new computer by saving each of these categories as a PST file (file>export>then choose the category and type of file)...and then copy these PST files to your new computer and import them into MS outlook.
4. Copy your playlists from itunes on your old computer to your new computer. This link may be helpful or search the internet again if you need to:
http://osx.tribe.net/thread/08fd0e5e-f1d0-450b-8de5-9f7cb5bd278d
5. Now...the important part...how to transfer all your settings from the iphone to the new computer....this is the part that was hard to find online, but finally got it: NOTE: THE BACKUP THAT ITUNES MAKES BACKS UP THE APPLICATION SETTINGS BUT NOT THE APPS SO THIS IS WHY YOU NEED TO TRANSFER THE APPS TO THE NEW COMPUTER. The settings have all the data you put into your apps, email settings, preferences, etc...so its a huge time save to transfer these to the new computer also.
-Sync your iphone with your old computer to have a backup in case you mess up...in that case you can restore from your old computer and start over
-Plug your iphone into the new ocmputer and start itunes. It will detect your phone (I assume you have already authorized your new computer to use the library and playlists and apps that you moved)
-Right click on the "iphone" on the left bar...you will see a popup menu...click on "BACKUP". Let it backup your iphone to the new computer. It will NOT sync the phone
-When the backup is done....copy the backup file to a temp directory to be safe. The backup is located in "documents and settings">user name>applications>apple computer>mobile sync. If you cannot see it, you need to open windows explorer (not internet explorer) and go to tools>folder options>view and click on "show hidden files and folders" Note YOU CANNOT JUST COPY THE BACKUP FROM THE OLD COMPUTER TO THE NEW COMPUTER AS SUGGESTED ON SOME WEB SITES...THIS DOES NOT WORK, ITUNES WILL NOT IDENTIFY THE BACKUP EVEN IF YOU PUT IT IN THE FOLDER IN THE NEW COMPUTER THAT MIRRORS THE FOLDER LOCATION IN THE OLD COMPUTER.
-OK now you are ready...click restore on the iphone and restore the phone to factory settings. This will happen in a few minutes (10-15 mins).
-The phone will reboot and itunes will recognize the phone again...as a restored phone. It will then ask you if you want to restore it from the backup..say YES. You then need to go through all the itunes tabs and click on everything you want to sync to the phone (playlists, movies, podcasts, ringtones, etc). Once you are done going thru the tabs click "apply" and the sync will start. Go out, to a movie, to bed, whatever because it will take hours to sync.
-Once the sync is done...voila...your iphone has been moved with ALL the settings to the new computer. Check it. Then you can delete the backup you put into the temp folder if it is OK
-Deauthorize your old computer
This worked for Win XP...should work for Vista. The whole process took many hours so don't rush through it (i'm guessing 12 hours total work).

How to transfer the tables from one file group to another file group in SQL 2008.?
Hello all,
I have few issues regarding the transfer of the tables from one file group to another file group in SQL 2008 and also How can we backup
and restore the particular database based on file group level.
Let’s say I have a tables stored within the different FG. such as
Tables
File group
Dimension tables
Primary
Fact tables
FG1
FG2…
zzz_tables
DEFAULT_FG
dim.table1 DEFAULT_FG
dim.table2 DEFAULT_FG
Here all I want to transfer the dim.table1 ,dim.table2 from DEFAULT_FG to the Primary File
group .So is there simple methods for transfer the dim.table1,2 from one FG to another .I have tried somewhat but I couldn’t get the exact way .So if someone have better idea please share your knowledge that would be really appreciated.
Secondly after moving those dim.table1 ,dim.table2 from DEFAULT_FG to Primary ,All I want to backup and restore the database only containing the Primary and FG1,FG2… not
a DEFAULT_FG.Is it possible or not.?
Hope to hear from the one who knows better approach for this kind of task .Your simple help will be much appreciated.
Regards,
Anil MaharjanWell after all my full day research on this topic had paid off, I finally got the solution and am so happy to research on these things. It makes
us feel really happy after all our research and hard work doesn't goes as waste.
Finally I got what I am looking for and want to make sure that I am able to transfer the tables from DEFAULT_FG to another FG without tables
having clustered index on that tables .
With the help of the link below I finally got my solution where Roberto’s coded store procedure simply works for this.
Really thanks to him for his great post and thanks to all for your response and your valuable time.

I redeemed a giftcard in one account and realized I wanted to use it in another. Is there a way I can transfer the money from one account to the other without billing my credit card?
You can't transfer money between accounts. You can, however, gift items by clicking the arrow to the right of the price, which will achieve the same ends. It should work for everything except rentals.

How to get the total numbers of pages have been printed using pl/sql
Dear All ,
I want to store the total number of physical pages printed into a database table,, how could I retrieve the value of the total number of pages .
I am using Oracle Report 6i
thnxxx in advance :)At the end of your report (i.e. after all the frames from your data model) place a dummy field. You can get the page number with srw.get_page_num in the format trigger of this field. Since this is the last field of your report, this is also the last page number.

How to transfer the requirement from one plant to many plants(STO)
hai gurus,
My scenario is as follows:
1) Plant "A" is Receiving plant.
2) Plant "B" ,Plant "C", Plant "D" is three production plant.
3) All the above 4 plant under same company code 1000.
4) Now plant "A" gets the requirements and pass on to all the three production plants, which
is based on forecast.
5) How the requirement to be passed on from plant "A" to all the three production plants namely B/C/D
under sap
6) After production of fert under 3 production plants the final products is transferred to the plant "A"
ware houses which is situated near by plants of B/C/D.
7) Only one fert material( Fert 1) is common for all three plants produced based on the capacity at all three plants.
8) Remaining fert material is plant specific, that is for Example Fert 2,3,4 produced only in plant" B"
Fert 5,6,7 produced in plant "C" and Fert 8,9,10 produced only in plant "D".
How to map into sap
waiting for the positive reply
Regards,
sekar chandHi again,
For more details on stock transfer from alternative plant in MRP, see also the attached link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/f4/7d2d5a44af11d182b40000e829fbfe/content.htm
Regarding FERT1, you can place sales order, but it will not trigger requirements in the manufacturing plant. Also, because all plants are in the same CC it is not a good idea.
If you are willing to do some manual/external work in determining how much of FERT1 will each manufacturing plant produce, then you can just manually create STOs accordingly. These STOs will generate MRP requirements in the manufacturing plants.

How to transfer the indexes from one DB To another DB
Hi All,
I have one question.I have to transfer all the database object from one database to another. and I have transfer it.Now I have to create an index on that tables then how can i know on which columns that indexes were created.and How I will create it in new database. Or Is there another way to transfer that indexes from old database to new database.
Thanx in advance.user13310428 wrote:

You cannot "+transfer+" the index data like you can table data. The reason is that indexes contains the physical address of the rows indexed. These addresses are different on the new database - and thus make the index data on the old database useless. Instead, you need to re-create the indexes so that the new row addresses can be determined and used by the index. -
How to pass the value from one page to another page
Dear Gaurav
I have three pages
1-creation page
2-search page
3-creation page
in first creation page I have column name user write a% and submit to that search for that name.
it is going to second page (search page)name a% is passed and search that corresponding value,the corresponding values are not there user will call third creation page and enter the details and save and click back to first page the value is not calling passing from third page to first page I submit the button in 3rd page the error is coming like this.
The requested page contains stale data. This error could have been caused through the use of the browser's navigation buttons (the browser Back button, for example). If the browser's navigation buttons were not used, this error could have been caused by coding mistakes in application code. Please check Supporting the Browser Back Button developer guide - View Object Primary Key Comparison section to review the primary causes of this error and correct the coding mistakes.
Cause:
The view object xxcrmleadmgmtAM.xxcrmleadmgmtVO contained no record. The displayed records may have been deleted, or the current record for the view object may not have been properly initialized.
in first page column name I removed view instance and view attribute the value is passing from third page to first page
my requirement is the value call from 3 to 1 and user will enter remaining fields in 1st page and save the records.
