How to use a .dll file wiht oc4j

i have developed a class in c# and i need to use it with oc4j. i dont know i should put that class .dll in a special folder.
i am trying to load this .html file but oc4j dont recognize anything:
<html>
<head>
<title>DLL Test 2</title>
</head>
<body>
<object id="Class1" name="Class1" classid="http:ClassLibrary3.dll#ClassLibrary3.Class1.Test"></object>
</body>
</html>
firstly the c# class only contains an attribute called test. later i will include some methods.
Cheers

Well if you want to use a native library, first off you need to generate the JNI artifacts for it so it can be loaded and used in a Java VM.
So assuming you've done that and packaged the JNI resources with the application, then you need to make sure that you've put the .dll somewhere within the PATH environment variable.
But actually what I think you are trying to do here is to embed a CLIENT side piece of code which IE will read and use. The browser will need to fetch the required object from somewhere.
So I'd recommend reading up on how IE fetches client side objects, and then configure your application so that the required client side package is available the required/configured destination.
As an alternative of using c#, try taking a look at JSP tags (especially the new form in JSP 2.0 which is dead easy to use as .tags) and the capabilities of AJAX. You may find your need to use c# is reduced and it makes your life easier.

    Hi sinaps,
    You mention that you want to create a DLL from a .C file. Just to clarify, are you using C (.c file) or C++ (.cpp) to write your code?
    Also, if you are using C++, are you using Visual Studio? (The reason I ask is because this forum is geared towards Measurement Studio, which is an add on to Microsoft Visual Studio).
    That being said,
    If you are using C: National Instruments provides an ANSI C Application Development Environment called LabWindows/CVI which makes building dlls a snap. It has templates for DLLs and you can build them either as stdcall or cdecl dlls.
    Developer Zone Tutorial: Building a DLL with LabWindows/CVI 8.5 for use with LabVIEW 8.5
    If you are using Visual C++: Look at the link that Al provided earlier.
    MSDN: Walkthrough: Creating and Using a Dynamic Link Library
    If you aren't using CVI or Visual Studio, then really the best bet is to do a google search for "Create C DLL" or post or a forum for the appropriate environment that you are using.
    Thanks!

  • How to use the DLLs which created from c++ in Java?

    And How to use the DLLs which created from JNI in C++?

    Huh?
    Are you asking how to do JNI - you should read the tutorial.
    Are you asking how to load it - then use System.loadLibrary()
    Are you asking what to do with the output from javah - put it in a C file and write some code, compile it into a dll.

  • How to use a key file in the FTP Task using and SSL connection

    In the past I have used this code to set the FTP pass word in an FTP component task in SSIS.
    Does anyone know how to use a Key file in an SSL connection to download a file from an FTP site?  If not can you tell me where I can get the C# code examples to learn how to create a script task or if there is another way in SSIS to download large files
    from an SSL FTP site?  Thank you for any help offered.

    You can use SFTP for this.

  • How to use my as3 file in flex

    hi, I am new in flex and want to divert into flex. How to  use my as3 file into flex. Is there any sample tutor . so, that I could learn fast.

    Please clarify. Is this .as file a class you previously used as a complonentcomponent you now wish to use as the main application?
    If the .as file just has variables and functions you wish to access from your Flex app, use:
    include "subfolder1/subfolder2/etc/MyASFile.as";
    If you want to use classes from the file, do this:
    import subfolder1.subfolder2.etc.MyClassName;
    If this post answers your question or helps, please mark it as such.

  • How to use the dll  created by c++ but not write a jni wrapper around

    how to use the dll created by c++ but not write a jni wrapper around through a java program. now I can't access that dll like this directly from java.

    Your question is unclear. (You haven't said what dll you are talking about.)
    But:
    If you are talking about an existing dll, then the only alternative to writing a wrapper is to use one of the wrapper generators floating around. Do a search on JACE.
    If you are talking about a dll you are writing, then run jah and get the interface to match java right away; then you won't have to write a wrapper.

  • How to call Fortran .dll file that using other library files?

    Hi,
    I am trying to do some arkward tasks using LabView, and I am desperately need help....
     A little bit background:
    1. My co-worker has some code written in Fortran, where he called other libraries (many from CERNLAB or PAW). Those stuffs are pretty powerful in mathmatical calculation and simulations.
    2. In some of my LabView code, I need to call his Fortran source code in order to do some complicated calculations. I have no capablility to translate his Fortran code to Labview (or is it even possible??), so we end up with trying to use "Call library function node" where I just provide input/outputs to communicate with his code. The idea sounds simple enough?
    3. We complie the Fortran code into .dll, and then specifiy the dll in "Call library function node". The first try with a very simple Fortran code, something like c = a+b*a, was sucessful. The dll file and Call lib function worked good. It's sort of proved the concept.
    4. Now I am trying more complicated Fortran code (say Test.dll), which calling other library (.lib files) that using typical "call xxx(a,b,c)" line, and my nightmare started....  It seems nothing was excuted when I call Test.dll in LabView.
    Questions:
    1. How do LabView know if the Test.dll code needs functions from other .lib files? Do I need to copy all the .lib files to a specific folder?
    2. When I create .dll file, for LabView to be able to use it, are there any special requirement on the way the .dll is compiled?
    3. Seems there is mismatch btw the data type in Fortran and LabView. For example, LabView's  Signed 8-bit Integer seems different with a integer in Fortran. How can i know the correlation btw data type in different langurage, i.e. LabView vs Fortran?
    4. Are there any good examples that I can take a look?
    I would highly appreicate any suggestions/helps!
    Rgds,
    Harry

    You are aware that Intel Visual Fortran is the successor to Compaq Visual Fortran (I think you made a mistype with the Virtual)? So an upgrade might be at its place.
    Anyhow I'm really not familiar with Fortran at all, but lib files are usually compiled into an EXE or DLL and not loaded dynamically. 1)
    So there should be no problem with locating those libs. What most likely is a problem are other DLL dependencies such as any Fortran Runtime library or possibly other third party DLLs the more advanced code in your DLL might be using.
    Typically most compilers can be configured to link the runtime library code statically into the DLL, as altenbach reports for the Intel compiler, otherwise you must make sure to install the  redistributable Fortran Runtime Library for your compiler. Besides that you must make sure to find out what other runtime dependencies your code might have and install them.
    1) One exception I know of is LabWindows CVI which allows to also load lib files dynamically. This is supposedly a legacy feature from LabWindows for DOS, which allowed that feature to simulate dynamic module loading in order to swap modules at runtime to work around the 640k memory limitation of DOS.

    When publishing, be sure not only the correct Xtra is installed, but be sure the "AWIML32.DLL" file is in the root of the published folder (same location as the .exe) for the GIF to play correctly.
    Also, I think I recall...to get a transparent background...it has to be...black? Not white...? Am I remembering that correctly....?

  • How to use CRAXDDRT.DLL in crystal report 2008?

    Hello All,
    We have purchased Crystal report 2008 Full software.
    We need to insert BLOB field into Crystal report 2008 at runtime using *CRAXDDRT.DLL*.
    How can I insert OLE object and bind it at Runtime using crystal report 2008?
    Is it possible to insert Ole Object runtime using crystal report 2008? If yes how and if not is there alternative to perform this job.
    Please let me know your feedback.
    Thanks

    CrxDDrt.dll is only provided in order for the Crystal Reports designer in the .NET IDE.
    1) You are not licensed to use this CraxDDrt.dll
    2) Even if you were, in previous versions of CR, there were licensing implications to using the craxDDrt.dll (read $$)
    3) Once your project would be done, using CR 2008, you would not be able to distribute the runtime as there is no CR MSM or MSI that contains the craxDDrt.dll and it's supporting runtime.
    In your original post you say:
    "I need to show Word and Pdf file in to Crystal report 2008 using CRAXDDRT.DLL";
    I do not understand why you'd need to do this using the craxddrt.dll? You should be able to insert a BLOB field using the RAS SDK for .NET and CR 2008. Now, one hting you will have to keep in mind. If you insert a multipage .doc or .pdf file into the report, you will only get the first page of that document. I suggest you try this in the CR designer first. Always remember that if you can not do a certain thing in the designer, you will not be able to do it at runtime either. Giving all the limitations above, if you are still interested in doing this using RAS, let me know and I'll set you up with some resources to get you going.

  • How to use COM DLL in LabWindows

    Hello
    I have a COM .dll which looks like that when opened with dll export viewer:
    I would like to use the Get4AxisPos function in LabWindows.
    I understood that, as I only have the .dll, the only way of calling these functions are with the LoadLibrary() and GetProcAddress() functions.
    My problem is that the Get4AxisPos function is not of type Exported Function but COM Method so I don't know how to use it in my LabWindows project!
    My questions are: Is it possibleto use this dll in Labwindows? If yes how?
    Thanks
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi ,
    I am new to C++ and COM  .
    i need to implement a client application in C(lab windows CVI) , server is a c++ COM object.
    steps followed by me
    ---> accessed the registered COM object with Labwindows CVI active x controller template,output was a c file which is implementation of the class names in COM (interfaces).
    I can use majority of the functions directly from the generated, but i need to implement some event functions like message box events and then use it.
    I have seen one method of accessing in C++ client sample ,
    which implements Queryinterface function...takes the IID_Unknown as input and returns interface pointer(inhereted static_castof the required class, uses static_cast for that) as output.
    when i try to follow up the same in c , i am lost  with the inheritance concept.
    In short i need to send IID Unknown to the Queryinterface function and should get the interface pointer of message box type or other class type ...
    Sorry for the long mail,Please guide me
    Thanks in advance ,

  • TrueTime Card and how to interface with dll file!?

    I am trying to interface with a PCI-SG 2U (IRIG) timing card (Used to made by TrueTime, now Symmetricom).  Does anyone have a solution for this card in LV 2009?
    If not, can anyone give advice on writing code to interface with .dll file?  I am not sure how to pass through the "GENERIC_READ | GENERIC_WRITE" into the function to open the device. The function says to open it is:
    TT_OpenDevice(boardID, GENERIC_READ | GENERIC_WRITE, &hDevice)
    No clue on how to pass this in.  Can anyone help?
    Thanks -
    Tom

    Thanks Mike.  I do have the .h file and the sdk information.  I went through and used the Import>Shared Library Tool and was able to find all the header information that way.  I guess that my problem/question is, the documentation says that it is a DWORD to pass as an input, but LabVIEW says it is a uint32.  I guess the real question is, what the heck do I pass in to the dll function?  Should it be the string "GENERIC_READ | GENERIC_WRITE" or something else?
    Thanks -
    Tom
