How to use fscommand or equivilant in action script 3

Hello every one,
I am new to action script 3, I want to burn my flash
projector file on a CD so that when it plays it opens in full
screen mode with movie size set to 100% and no scaling allowed. I
use to do it with FScommand in previous versions but it doesn't
work in flashcs3. Can someone help this poor soul how to use it in
actionscript3.
Thanks in advance.

do a search for fscommand in the Flash CS3 help and look for
a file heading called AS2.0 Migration Once you find that file, do a
search for fscommand again inside the document.

• How to use a back button in action pages?

Hi all,
I have created a user login page,home page and user profile page.
If the user provide correct username and password in the login page he will be taken to home page.
In the home page he will be having his username and a link to view his profile.
When the user click on the link "My Profile(user profile)" he wil be taken to that page.
In my profile page the user can edit only his firstname,lastname and password .
On the user profile page i have placed a Back Button(using javascript: on onclick event i have used history.back()) to go back to home page after editing his profile.
If the user edit his profile for n-number of times then atlast if he wants to go back to home page-then he wil cilck the back button.
Now the problem occurs like the back button not going to home page and it simply going back with the edited history.
How to use a back button in action pages; without repeating the actions done on the page; how to redirect to the users home page?
I simply used the hyperlink in userprofile page to go to home page but when i click onit it is displaying blank home page.
I'm using hibernate orm mapping; cflogin and cflogout tags.
Any help appreciated,

I can see your problem. You may use javascript:history.go(-1), javascript:history.go(-2), ..., to go back one page, two pages, and so on. But how does one go back an arbitrary n pages? The link href="home.cfm" isn't a good solution for the browser. It makes a new call to the server which, as you may have discovered, can overwrite all the changes made at the browser.
You should use the Javascript variable history.length. If you open n links in succession, starting from page0.cfm, then the browser holds the value of history.length as n. So, experiment with something like
Go home
or
Go home

• How to use the cases in button action?

Hi Experts,
I want to get a prompt message if the field is empty.I got it but at the same time if the field is filled I want the other action to be performed that is to call a BAPI and give me output.How can I give two events for the same action.
How to use the cases in button action?
So, please guide me.Urgent need
Regards
Nutan

Hi Nutan,
if I understand you, then you have a simple validation. Therefore you can use the validation functionality of VC for your components. An alternative could be by writing a new ABAP RFC function module like:
BAPI Input parameters as input and BAPI output parameters as output and an additional return code or string for a message:
IF I_FIELD IS INITIAL.
E_RETURN_CODE = "THE FIELD IS EMPTY."
ELSE.
CALL FUNCTION <YOUR_BAPI>
<BAPI PARAMETERS>
ENDIF.
I hope that helps.
Best Regards,
Marcel

• Hwo to use "request" of HTTPServices in action script

hello
i have to use this code in action script
i am facing problem in "request"

Check the fault your request is generating. See the fault
string you must be getting back, look into it and get the error
number from there. Search for that error number in flex, it will
make your search more sensible and specific.

• How to use su in a Korn shell script???

I'm developing a script which needs to log in to a second user id to complete its processing. When I use su, it prompts for a password. I enter the password and then it hangs at the system prompt. If I enter 'exit', it returns to the original user id and continues the script from there. How can I make it continue executing the script in the second user id?
The system that I'm using doesn't have the 'expect' command, so I have to find another way.

This cannot be done by standard Unix commands. But
this is possible by
1. Expect
2. Sudo with NOPASSWD option.
3. SSH by private/public authentication.
Among this SSH is very safe, but sudo is easy to configure and use. Try sudo.

• How to use bind vars in SQL*Plus Script?

I am trying to use a bind var in my script ... does not seem to work ... something along these lines.
variable v_id number;
select max(user_id) into :v_id
from user_id_tbl;
exec trace_user(:v_id);
This is in a UNIX Script - I don't get any errors but the binding is not working - not passing a valid v_id ... Any ideas?

For the record a solution is:
variable v_id number;
begin
select max(user_id) into :v_id from user_id_tbl;
end;
exec trace_user(:v_id);

• How to use Javascript to invoke an action?

Hi,
Normally if I want to invoke a controller's action with a submit button I can use the action="#{MyController.method}" part of my JSF h:commandButton. But if I'm submitting a form through Javascript,
document.getElementById("myForm").submit();
how do I cause the same action to be run on the server side?
Hope this question makes sense. Thanks, - Dave

This is the way I do it it works for aj4:commandLink
Here is my commandLink
<a4j:commandLink>
style="display:none"
accesskey="C" action="#{manageCenter.cancel}" id="cancel_cmd" reRender="manageCenter" value="#{msg.button_CANCEL}"
oncomplete="submitOurForm()"
>
</a4j:commandLink>And Here is the Javascript function to fire the event
* Crossbrowser function to simulate click event on a component
fireEventClick:function(elem){
if(typeof(elem) == "string"){
elem = document.getElementById ( elem );
if(null == elem){
console.info("fireEventClick:Passed element is null");
return;
if(document.createEvent){
var e = document.createEvent('MouseEvents');
e.initMouseEvent('click', /* Event type */
true, /* Can bubble */
true, /* Cancelable */
document.defaultView, /* View */
1, /* Mouse clicks */
0, /* Screen x */
0, /* Screen y */
0, /* Client x */
0, /* Client y */
false, /* Ctrl */
false, /* Alt */
false, /* Shift */
false, /* Meta */
0, /* Button */
null); /* Related target */
elem.dispatchEvent(e);
}else{//IE Specific
elem.click();
}So now from javascript we can simply fire the action like so and when it return we can fire our submit
fireEventClick("cancel_cmd");Hope this helps

• How can I send Scroling commands from action script?

I just set both horizontalScrollPolicy and verticalScrollPolicy off, and I wont that the picture will scroll down when the user move his mouse to the bottom of the screen, I created mouse event that shows me mouse coordination in a text bar all what I have left to do is to give the scrolling command, just can't find it, so I am asking your help, hope you will.

See the Capabilities class to examine the screen resolution:
The Capabilities class provides properties that describe the system and
player that are hosting a SWF file. For example, a mobile phone's screen might
be 100 square pixels, black and white, whereas a PC screen might be 1000 square
pixels, color. By using the Capabilities object to determine what type of device
a user has, you can provide appropriate content to as many users as possible.
When you know the device's capabilities, you can tell the server to send the
appropriate SWF files or tell the SWF file to alter its presentation.
For example, here is how you can check the user's screen resolution:

<mx:Application xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml"
creationComplete="init();">
<mx:Script>

private function init():void{
trace("screenResolutionX: " + Capabilities.screenResolutionX);
trace("screenResolutionY: " + Capabilities.screenResolutionY);

</mx:Script>
</mx:Application>

• How to "use" a xml file with a script?

Hey Guys!
I use the normal Button with the send-option to send the xml file to an url.
My question is how it's possible to work in a php-script with the xml data out of the formular?
Thanks for help.

Adrian

Hi,
I need to read a XML document with StringReade class.
My aplication receives an absolute path but this
doesn't work:
StringReader oStringReader =
new StringReader(c:\java\libros.xml);
However it works with:
StringReader oStringReader =
new StringReader("<?xml version="1.0" e......");
ie, with the whole document as a String, but I need
to do it as the frist way.

• How to use Symbols or icons in SAP script

Hai ,
I am facing one problem in sap script , I want to display one of my field as icon (or )symbol ( tick mark ) in sap script . how to do . Particular transfer order ( check LTAP table ) having 10 line items . In 8 line items are confirmed ( pquit = 'X') others not confirmed . if LTAP-pquit = 'X' then instead of 'X' i need tick mark symbol .

Icons and symbols in SAPscript texts
To print these, use output devices whose device type uses one of the following printer drivers:
·        HPL2 (PCL-5 printers, such as HPLJ4, HPLJ5, HPLJ5SI, or HPLJ4000)
· POST (PostScript printers, such as POSTSCPT, or POST2)
· PRES (PRESCRIBE printers, such as KYOFS150, or KYOFS170)
· SWIN (device types SAPWIN/SWIN and country-specific versions)
Icons and symbols in ABAP lists
If you also want to print these characters in lists, you must define an output device with one of the following device types:
·        HPLJ4000/HPLJ5000/HPLJ1100: Device types for PCL-5-printers
· KYOFS170: Device type for Prescribe II printers
· POST2: Device type for PostScript Level 2 printers
· SAPWIN/SWIN and the country-specific versions: generic, that is, device-independent device type for printing using Microsoft Windows
