How to use org.jdom.NameSpace in setAttribute() method of org.jdom.Element?

Hi to all,
Iam building xml file.In that iam trying to create org.jdom.NameSpace in setAttribute() method of org.jdom.Element object. Iam getting runtime errors like illegal name.
What exactly i want is i want to set "xmlns" as attribute name and "http://www.loc.gov/MARC21/slim" as attribute value. When iam directly creating that it is throwing exception that no attribute name should be xmlns in org.jdom.Element. That is why i approched to org.jdom.NameSpace. But iam not getting the way, how to set org.jdom.NameSpace in setAttribute method of org.jdom.Element object. I tried several ways but it is not comming.
can any budy help me please.
thanks to one and all.

Hi Marc
I solved the problem
Actually the oRootElement.toString was returning me only the string and not the
XML formatted String eg:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<response id="2"><apartment id="1"/><clips><clip><id>1</id><timeStamp>2000000</timeStamp><size>100</size></clip><clip><id>2</id><timeStamp>4000000</timeStamp><size>200</size></clip></clips></response>
So the very first tag was missing <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> when i used element.toString();
But now i used StreamResult and Transformer
which gives me the same XMl format as i want and it works fine with both
JRE1.4 and JRE1.5
Thank you

    Krishna,
    It is not possible to deactivate the CHANGE option in themenu bar using the method disable_functions of cass CL_CTMENU. This method allows you to deactivate only the function codes of the CONTEXT MENU, which is available only when u press the left mouse button.
    U can use the SET PF-STATUS 'XXX' EXCLUDING fcodes option to disable the CHANGE.

  • Explanation how to use rainflow module with rainflow counting method

    Hello, I want to know how to use the Rainflow Classification Module in dasylab 13.0, in particular with the rainflow counting method. I save the result matrix, but I don't understand how to read it. The help is quite useless, because it doesn't explain what there is in the matrix for this method. My target is to obtain a matrix with number of cycles catalogued by mean value and alternative value.
    Someone can help me?
    thanks

    Hi Davide,
    I'm not familiar with DasyLab software, but I found some helpful documentation on NI website.

  • How to use XPath with Namespaces in the xml ?

    Hi all,
    I need to reference a certain Node in a Document using XPath notation.
    The problem is the the XML Document contains Namespaces inside it

      DOMXPath xPath = new DOMXPath("xn:SubNetwork/*");
      Set nodeset = xPath.evaluateAsNodeset(this.xmlRootElement);When I Iterate through the Set I can see it's empty.
    (On the other hand without namespaces everything is fine.)
    So how can I reference a Node that contains a namespace in it ?

  • How to use property Upgrade Code in detection method "Windows Installer"?

    Hi
    I am a packaging specialists helping our deployment guys to add our software (100rds of installers) as application entries in SCCM 2012. The methods supplied by SCCM seem however quite generic and limited.
    The detection method "Windows Installer" is hardcoded to use the Product Code, why?
    Normal detection of Windows Installer packages are done using the Upgrade Code and the Product Version. Is it possible for us our self to add/reconfigure to use that method or are we forced to use the custom detection method?(both those methods should be provided
    by SCCM to better match Windows Installer architecture)
    Ps. It says in http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb632336.aspx for Version that "This
    must be in the standard Windows Installer four-part version number format.", but the version number is 255.255.65535 (which is real stupid) as described by http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa370859(v=vs.85).aspx. Ds.
    Regards
    Pär

    Under LV 7.1 with DSC installed I get the same error code (-2147418113) but "explain error" gives me this.
    "LabVIEW DSC:  (Hex 0x8000FFFF) Catastrophic failure."
    This prompts the question is it possible to set an activeX object running in a container for Full Screen.
    This is probably a Q for MS.
    If it look like it is possible, try to get a VB example and that will tell us what we have to do to make this work.

  • How to use short[] someDescriptorTags

    I have a problem concerning implementation of SI, and I need your help desperately.
    lots of method in interface from SI have a parameter used to filter descriptor tag. Taking the SIDatabase class for example, the class has a method: retrieveSINetworks(....,short[] someDescriptorTags), I don't know how to use the parameter when implementing
    the method. In my opinion if the someDescriptorTags==null, I won't put any descriptors into cache. if the someDescriptorTags has " -1" as its only element, i put all descriptors into cache. otherwise, i only put the application interested descriptors specified by someDescriptorTags into cache. is that correct?

    Basically, yes. The methods that you are thinking about use the someDescriptorTags parameter to provide hints about the descriptors that the application is interested in (which it will retrieve later using SIInformation.retrieveDescriptors().
    You can choose to ignore these hints and not cache any descriptors, or you can choose to cache all of them, but it's best to cache at least the ones that the app is interested in. Not doing this is OK, but it will means that application performance will suffer in this area and that your implementation may not be as good as some other implementations on the market.
    Steve.

    hi all,
    I am doing programs in sturts. My program
    My program purpose is to retrieve data from the
    database.My database is MySql. I know that we can
    write connection code in Action Class, it is ok for
    some less prog's if i want to use the sane connection
    code in more Action Classes it is vasting time and
    so.I don't think it's a good idea to put database code in Action classes. (That's one of the biggest drawbacks of Struts - it's completely tied to Actions, HTTP, and the Web.) Better to move that code into plain old Java objects and let the Actions call them.
    You'll be able to test them without the container or Struts, and you'll be able to reuse those objects in other, non-Web contexts.
    So i want to use <data-sources> tag that is available
    in struts-config.xml. I know that thre is tag withThis is the wrong place to configure a connection pool, too. Struts should have nothing to do with it. What if you change Web frameworks to WebWork or Spring? The connection pool should be configured in the container that hosts your app, not Struts.
    this name, but the problem is i don't know how to use
    this tag. If any budy know how to use this please
    tell me the syntax or any example.
    plese... reply soon..Don't do it. Think about doing it in your container, not Struts.

  • How to use the html:link with a arraylist

    Hi everyone:
    I want to display the data using struts html:link.
    I query the database and place all the data to javabean,later place all the javabean to ArrayList.In Action,I use the "request.setAttribute("lovetable",articlelist) to set request to jsp page.
    I want to pass a parameter "id" use the hyperlink so I can get the parameter when I click the hyperlink.
    But how to use html:link to display it?
    I use <html:link action="viewtopic.do" paramId="id" paramName="lovetable" paramProperty="id"/>,it can't work and Tomcat report error :
    org.apache.jasper.JasperException: No getter method for property id of bean lovetable
         at org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServletWrapper.service(JspServletWrapper.java:248)
         at org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.serviceJspFile(JspServlet.java:295)
         at org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.service(JspServlet.java:241)
    The lovetable is a ArrayList and it don't have a getter or setter method.
    How to use it pass parameter? :( Thks

    Thank you.
    I use the bean:define successful.And display all the data to jsp.My jsp code is:
    <logic:iterate id="love" name="lovetable">
    <bean:define id="idbean" name="love"/>
    <tr bgcolor="<%=color%>">
    <td><bean:write name="love" property="id"/></td>
    <td><html:link forward="viewtopic" paramId="id" paramName="idbean" paramProperty="id"><bean:write name="love" property="title"/></html:link></td>
    <td><bean:write name="love" property="name"/></td>
    <td><bean:write name="love" property="time"/></td>
    </tr>
    </logic:iterate>
    In Action : request.setAttribute("lovetable",articlelist)
    ResutlSet rs=.............
    List articlelist=new ArrayList();
    while(rs.next()){
    articlebean bean=new articlebean();
    bean.setName(rs.getString("name"));
    bean.setTitle(rs.getString("title"));
    articlelist.add(bean);
    The above code will work property.
    The Tag "html:link" need bean to work other than arraylist so I iterate all the bean out.
    The Tag "logic:iterate" need collection to work so I make Action return a List.
    right?
    Any idea? :)

  • How to use xPath to extract a element from a xml stringin BPEL workflow?

    I have a xml string passed into the BPEL workflow, and I need to extract the value of "serviceOrderGuid" (see the xml string below), how I can use BPEL mapper to do this? I am using NetBeans 6.0/M10.
    Thanks

    Thank you for your help so far, but I still have issues to be resolved.
    I developed couple of workflows, in assign activity, I used query to retrieve some value from xml string, e.g.
    <copy>
    <from variable="OriginalEventMessage">
    <query>/node()/*[ ( local-name() = 'Request' ) ]/*[ ( local-name() = 'Parameters' ) ]/*[ (  ( local-name() = 'Parameter' )  and  ( @name = 'serviceOrderGuid' )  ) ]/*[ ( local-name() = 'Value' ) ]</query>
    </from>
    <to variable="CallMefIn" part="EventMessage">
    <query>//*[local-name()='Request']/*[local-name()='Parameters']/*[local-name()='Parameter' and @name='serviceOrderGuid']/*[local-name()='Value']</query>
    </to>
    </copy>
    at deployment, I got messages like "Starting BPELSE deploy process
    FromXmlParser.endElement(): Found unrecognized end element </query>, namespace=http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsbpel/2.0/process/executable
    ToXmlParser.endElement(): Found unrecognized end element </query>, namespace=http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsbpel/2.0/process/executable

    What is the problem?
    I attach the whole deployment log for your review.
    Thanks

  • Java mapping how to use com.sap.tc.logging

    Hi I would like to know how to use logging within a java mapping.
    I know i have to use theese classes : Location, Category, ConsoleLog but i dont know how.
    1) How to load the P1, P2, P3 and P4 tags in the Error tag of the SOAP header watched in SXMB_MONI
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="">
      <SAP:Category>Application</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="MAPPING">STREAM_TRANSFORMATION_EX</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1>SwissMedical/Interfaces/IFI002/LiquidacionMapping~</SAP:P1>
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <SAP:Stack>Java mapping of application triggered an exception</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    2) How to load and activate log in the DIAGNOSTIC tag of the SOAP Header.
    - <SAP:Diagnostic xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
      <SAP:TraceLevel>Information</SAP:TraceLevel>
      <SAP:Logging>Off</SAP:Logging>
      </SAP:Diagnostic>
    Thanks!!

    As already suggested, you can display custom messages using AbstractTrace.
    trace = (AbstractTrace)param.get( StreamTransformationConstants.MAPPING_TRACE );
                        trace.addInfo("G1-CYCLE is missing");
    For more on coding front refer:
    http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04/current/pi/com/sap/aii/mapping/api/StreamTransformation.html
    To get this trace seen in MONI, set parameter TRACE_LEVEL in SXMB_ADM to 2.
