How we change a word to Super Script in ADOBE Form

Hi,
I have scenario where I need to change a word to super script. I am getting the super script value in a variable, now When displaying on a abode form in a particular cell I have to concatenate this word and make sure that it appears as Super Script to the word preceding it.
Really appreciate if someone can post suggestions and ideas to do it.

Hi Srikanth,
In case of text field you can do this . Its simple.
You just need to check the rich text property from text field properties
Now you can select any word and change it to superscript by using the corresponding properties button.
Moreover I guess If you create a table and save some data by copying from excel or word as superscriipt it gets saved in table. so you can use this way also.

You can't easily unless you have the latest version (2.1.1).
If you do have this version then changing the font in the Tools/Preferences menu under the code editor/fonts section will also change the font of the data grid.

I'm new to this application and coding as well so its kind of foreign to me.
Working on a Report Page,
I would like to have item, :P1_JOB_NO blink when the difference between sysdate and :P1_DATE_DUE < 7 days.
I can identify the job_no which should blink by using the sql statement:
SQL> select job_no from oax_projects07 where
2 (sysdate - date_due < 7) and
3 emp_name = 'GARY PILKENTON';
JOB_NO
20060627 050
But I dont know the proper syntax to make it blink,
or when to plug the syntax into.
ie, is it a process, a validation, etc.
Do you have any advice for me?

How to handle tables data in XML schema based adobe form

Hi all,
I am working on the CRM business partner creation by using Interactive adobe form with following steps:
1) Uploaded the offline Interactive adobe form to online interactive adobe form via WebDynpro ABAP;
2) Capture XML data into corresponding BAPI structures;
3) Save all the changes to database via BAPI.
The adobe form contains customer information as well as several table views which are bind with the context created in WebDynpro: Node NEW_BP_NODE cardinality 1:1 with single attributes and table type attributes (1:n): COLOUR_COMP, MEN_COMP etc.
While converting the xml format data to SAP context format, It is fine to use following routine to find the single attribute and map to the BAPI structure to do the database update.
NODE = DOCUMENT->FIND_FROM_NAME( NAME = 'XYZu2019).
XYZ = NODE->GET_VALUE( ).
Question: how to convert the xml table data to SAP context format in WebDynpro ABAP?

Hi,
Just follow these steps:
1. Create interactive form UI element in your view.
2. Now provide Datasource and PDFSOURCE to it in form properties.
3. Now give a template name prefix with 'Z' or 'Y'.
4. Double click on it. It will prompt for interface name.
5. Provide interface name prefixed with 'Z' or 'Y'.
6. Click on Context button in the Pop up window and provide the node you have selected as DATASOURCE.
7. Click ok and it will open the form designer.
8. In this way you can create a XML Schema based Form.
9. Activate the interface and design the form providing layout type and other details.

Condition verification in java script on Adobe form.

I am using a interactive forma text element on my view. (java web dynpro)
It's a simple application. I am trying to figure out how it works with java script.
I have a text field. which displays employ is sales or production dept
the values in the data view and its the output element of a BAPI which returns XF,TF,HF and XK,JK,HK
(record.dept)
if its XF, TF, HF on the text field in the adobe form should print sales else production.
I have never used java script on adobe form.
I figured the strip above the form in adobe designer is used for java script.
can any one, let me know how I can manipulate. the record value

xfa.host.messageBox should show you an alert dialog box to check data you are getting.
And yes you are right. You can set the value of textfield using code you mentioned.

You can even set the texfields to be readOnly, hide some of them etc. But for that I would suggest you going thru the LiveDesigner help. It would solve most of your doubts :-).

for more information about layout options in forms, go to your form in transaction SFP, layout view and choose Help -> Adobe LifeCycle Designer Help. There you find information on page layout, e.g. " Objects can be placed anywhere on a master page, inside or outside the content area. As a general rule, do not place objects inside the content area unless your intention is to have other objects laid down on top of the master page objects when the form is rendered. If you are setting up a watermark, place it inside the content area. "
Besides, there's an Adobe forum where you might get more information for such Adobe questions.

Migrating SAP Scripts to Adobe Forms

Hi All,
   We are going for a new Rollout in US based on our European implementation in 2001 which was on
   4.6b. Eventually this system was upgrated to ECC 6.0 recently however all the outputs are still using
   SAP Scripts.
   For the new Rollout in the US, we are planning to migrate all these outputs to Adobe Forms. Does
   anyone know if there is an easy way to migrate Scripts to Adobe Forms or else the migration is more
   or less like fresh development.
   Please share your experiences/knowledge if anyone has worked similarly. Thank you all.

dont go for that.
many problems will come after migration, the time to take rectification is more than the development directly.

How to change label color in LabelGraphics script?

I am using ID CS4 and running the LabelGraphics script to label several images in a large document. When I run thre script, the box with the file name is transparent with black type. I would like the box to be white with black type. Is there any way to edit the script that will enable this? It would be great if there was an "object style" in addition to the "paragraph style" in the run script pop-up window. Anyone?

Here's how to change the LabelGraphics.jsx script itself to add an object style option:
1. Look for the line:
var myStyleNames = myGetParagraphStyleNames();
And add this line before or after it:
var myObjectStyleNames = app.documents.item(0).objectStyles.everyItem().name;
2. Look for the lines:
//Style to apply

     with(dialogColumns.add()){
          staticTexts.add({staticLabel:"Label Style", minWidth:myLabelWidth});
     with(dialogColumns.add()){
          var myLabelStyleDropdown = dropdowns.add({stringList:myStyleNames, selectedIndex:0});

And delete it or put "//" in front of it--this will let the object style take care of setting the first baseline offset method.
After you make these changes, the script adds the object style dropdown to the dialog:

You acnnot do that but what you can do is to have two layouts, having two windows with different sizes and calling one of them conditionally.

Use The Program SAPCTS_TOOLS.
Then Click On Change Object Directory Entries Under Object Directory-->Enter FORM Under DTEL(DATA Element)
Select The Check Box And Give The Object Name-->Execute.
Click On the Form and Then Click On Object directory Button.
