For example:
In T-code: VA01
Put your cusor on the screen field : Standard Order
Then press F1, get the technical info of this field as below shows:
Screen field     VBAK-VBELN
Program name     SAPMV45A
Screen no.       4001
So my question is, how to locate the source code which exactly to populate the SO number into VBAK-VBELN by the system automaticallly.
As assumed that the system is generate this kind of SO autuomatically, and its number range is defined in SPRO.
I just want to find out the coding part which gengerate the SO number.
Want to see the source code of that...

HOW YOU GET IMOVIE TO SELECT/TRIM ALL THE TRACKS IN THE TIMELINE?

trying to burn dvd of my vacation and imported the clips from the camera into imovie. worked great. i imported my audio into garageband to add some filters, compression and eq, and imported it back into imovie as a separate track. then, i muted the origional audio track from the camera. still great. now, i need to trim some clips because idvd says my movie too long to burn on a single-layer disc. not great, *****! so, then i went back to imovie and trimmed a clip and now the audio that is after the trimmed track is totally out of sync. really really *****!!!! it turns out that imovie only trimmed the video and left my second audio track alone. WHY??? ***!!! does anyone know how to trim clips so that imovie trims all the tracks? do you hold down 'shift' or 'option' or something??? there must be a way to do it. HELP!!! god, i hope i can burn this disc sometime in 2007.

yea, thanks matt but i thought of that. if i do that i have to do my whole idvd project over again. i dont think i have enuff sanity left for that. i have a really complicated idvd project thats totally done. i think im just gonna burn it to a DLdisc instead.

i made a disk image of my vacation in maui, which is 1 hour 43 mins & chose the 'best quality' option. it has lots of violent ocean footage w/lots of motion, crazy colors, rainbows etc. its taken from a canon alura dv cam & looked awesome in imovie. my imovie project is roughly 23gb. when i watched the 4gb disk image that idvd created in DVD Player, it looked really blocky especially in the water/ocean scenes. like a bad divx rip from 1997, haha. im not happy with it at all. i kinda thought about how idvd would get 23gb compressed down to 4gb and worried about how it would look. well, my worring paid off cause it looks like crap.
then, i looked at the project info window in idvd. if i select 'best performance' the capacity changed from 3.6gb to 6gb, whoa??? uh, that doesnt make sense. \ im gonna try to encode it using this 'best performance' that they speak of, and see if it helps. i just want my movie to look good and ill do anything, ill use a dvdisc if i have to! why spend hours making a perfect imovie/garageband/idvd project if your source footage looks like dog poop in the final stage. im assuming it will look better when i select this 'best performance' thingie because common sense and logic tell me 6gb is bigger than 3.6.
then i got really CRAZZIIEE and looked at the 4gb idvd image next to 1 of my source .dv files in vlc player. vlc player says my disk image is getting about 4-6,000kb/s fluctuating, BUT my .dv file is 30,000kb/s sustained!!! how do i get 30,000kb/s sustained on my dvd??? wow, that would be great!!! prob not possible with my luck? my dvd player will explode into flames when i try to play it, right? also, how can i get the quailty higher? idvd is only going to use 6gb of a dual-layer disc, why if it has the capacity to hold 9gb? any help would be greatly appreciated!!! i thought about dvd studio pro but i would only try that if it will import my idvd theme perfectly, cause im not doing all that crap again. if im stuck with a 9gb dldisc that only used 6 gb, at least thats better than 3.6gb. ill settle for that if i have to.

Does anyone know how to obtain such information from Oracle support? Is this from metalink

One possible snag in the process is that you will have some legal paperwork to sign. Depending on your company's policies, this could pose a problem.

How do get a CD to burn ALL the songs in a playlist?

Hello all,
my problem is this: How can you get a CD to burn all songs in a playlist, not just the checked songs?
We have one computer (Dell PC) with all our music on it, plus several iPods. The iPods are each set up a little differently because none of them have enough space to hold all our music. One iPod (2GB 1st Gen Nano) syncs all music (checked/unchecked) from one playlist. The second (2nd Gen Shuffle) syncs randomly from entire library. And the third (4GB 1st Gen Nano) only syncs checked music/podcasts from entire library.
When I burn a CD from a playlist it usually contains music that is checked and unchecked both, but only the checked songs actually end up on the CD. Is there a way around this? (besides setting up the third iPod to only sync from certain playlists and having all our music "checked")
I know I can easily select all songs in a playlist I want to burn, right click and check them all, but the hard part is unchecking the correct ones again, esp when burning a mP3 disc with 100+ songs on it.

Both suggestions would work, it just seems like there should be a better way. The way she picks what goes on her iPod currently is very easy, just uncheck a couple, click a few more, easy.
So I created a smart playlist with all the checked songs in it (the easiest way I could think of), copied all those to a regular playlist and made it her "Master" playlist. Then I went back and checked ALL the songs. Now she has to go through her other created playlists and delete out the songs she doesn't want anymore.
This solved my original question, I guess, but not in a satisfactory way. It's also harder now for her to manage her podcast syncing, she can't just check the ones she wants; she has to use the unplayed etc...options.

How to retrieve the source code navigation sidebar

I'm trying to build a site following the tutorials on the dreamweaver software. I get in the part where i have to do the columns but i lost the navigation sidebar where the source code tab and the check_cs5.css are under the index.html tab, and have to use this one to be able to continue with the setup. I would like to know if it possible to retrieve this side bar and how? Or what to do to fix it, especially i'm far away for this step, do I have to start over? Please, I need an ASAP answer.

How can you scan the Source Code of a bunch of function modules

We are in a 46C system. I need to be able to scan the soruce code of a bunch of function modules. I was unable to use the RPR_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN and return the lines with the string I was searching for.

Read the main program that is the funtion pool into an internal table with statement.
READ REPORT
Use the key-word
SCAN ABAP-SOURCE
You can use the addition with includes as the function pool contains only include programs the with includes addition will read the source code present in the include.
Like this you can achieve it

How to edit Java source code of a generated Web Service?

I generated a Jax RPC (1.4) Web Service using the JDev Wizard . Everything works fine. But now I need to make some changes in the business logic contained in the source code. The problem is there is no easy way to get to the source code - JDeveloper shows the web service but right clicking on it only lets me go to the WSDL or Mapping file - not the Java source.
So - how do I get to the source.
I could do a file -> open and open up the java file and edit it - but this seems like a round about way . Why doesn't JDev let me go back to the Source code easily?
It does provide a Regeneate from Source option but there is no way (as far as I could tell) to actually jump back into the source code after I've generated the Web Service.

just to confirm that Jan is ight. If you seect the generated WSDL icon, which is shown in the Application Navigator, open the Structure Window and you'll see all teh generated interfaces and sourcefiles, as well as your WebService file.
Alternatively you can use teh System navigator which will show all files in one view (ctrl+shift+N)

This is with respect to the modification / developments made for my company by the SAP Partners i.e. the source codes. After the implementation and stabilization, whom do the SOURCE CODES belong? Aren't the SAP partners who hv developed the codes for us obliged to pass it on to us?

This is a legal question, not relative to the SDK... And it dépends mainly on local legislation and contract between the company you are working for and the SAP Partner which ordered the work: basically, no common "rule" can exist on this one.
By the way, different kinds of ownership have to be considered:
Intellectual property,
Right to use, and or modify, and or resell.
For me, in France, doing some development I am always the Intellectual Property owner. Working for any company, this company has a pertual right to use, resell and modify my work. Then is a contract between the company for which I am working and the Customer who asked for the job (SAP Partner in your question) and has to be specifically specified while contracting, to avoid such situations.
Not an easy question at the end... And, again, no generic answer.

How to get the source code in PAR file

Hi All,
I used the PAR migration tool to migrate from PAR to EAR file. When I imported the EAR into NWDS 7.3, I was just able to see the structure and jsp files and could not find the java source code files. I would requires the java source code to make modifications so that deprecated APIs can be replaced and to also make the code compatible with JDK 1.6.
I think the original 7.0 PAR file itself does not contain the source code. I decided to use the "Include source code" option when exporting the 7.0 PAR.
I have the portal application DC project in my NWDS 7.0. However, when I try to export the PAR file using Export --> PAR File -- > Next... I am unable to select any project from the list. The list appears blank with disabled Next & Finish buttons.
I also noticed that in the portal DC application structure, there is a .sda file under /gen/default/deploy. Also there is no PAR folder under /gen/default/public.
How do I include the source in the PAR file so that I can edit the same after migrating to EAR format ?

DC and PAR/EAR stuff are different formats, SC/DC is an archive type used by NWDI, if I got it right.
How do I go about generating the PAR file (with source) ?
In fact through including the seources while creating the PAR/EAR in NWDS, but: no need to do that, you can also depack SDA (rename it to zip). If you wanna just see the Java sources you will find them there, otherwise decompile as Vijay already sad.
