Howto - JDev 10.1.3 - Audit tools and Ant

Hi
I'm playing around with Audit tools. I want to be able to call this from Ant. One primitive method is as follows:
<target name="Audit" description="Running audit on source code">
<property name="audit" value="ojaudit"/>
<property name="profile" value="-profile MyRules"/>
<property name="project" value="test3.jpr"/>
<property name="output" value="-output d:\result.xml"/>
<exec executable="cmd.exe" os="Windows XP" >
<arg line="/c ${audit} ${profile} ${project} ${output}"/>
</exec>
</target>
With results like:
Audit:
[exec] Oracle JDeveloper 10g Early Access Audit 10.1.3.0.3.3412
[exec] Copyright (c) 2003-2005 Oracle. All Rights Reserved.
[exec]
[exec] Audit completed: 1 violation, no exceptions, 2 documents, 3 seconds
BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 3 seconds
But then I'm unable to handle the result - unless I parse the output file. I want the Ant build file to fail if ojaudit find errors. Is this possible?
I know the PMD extension exist but I really like the Jdev Audit stuff - but I need an interface to Ant to make it really useful: We have a build tool which build on every SCM check in. I would like the JDev Audit be part of that process so that source code problems (audit, metrics) are handles in the same process as well.
By the way JDev 10.1.3 is great...
johnny

No not really (thanks anyway). The link shows basically the same as my input except for the better formatting of the output.
Both my and the example given both uses the Ant <exec> tag which start ojaudit from the command line. The problems still exist because I would like Ant to know if something was reported and the stop the Ant build process. A kind of "failOnValidationError".
PMD has this (example below shows and Ant tag called pmd which is part of the PMD system.
<pmd printToConsole="yes" failOnRuleViolation="on">
Can ojaudit also do something like this? Or is there a way Ant can "scan" the result from the audit process and take the appropriate action?

  • Audition sessions and Pro Tools

    I was just wondering if there is any way that Pro Tools 8 can open up Audition files. Is there a 3rd party software that allows for that, or is there a particular format that works between Audition 3 and Pro tools 8?
    Thank-you

    AA Translator may have the answer but maybe not PT8 yet.

  • Cannot change tools and cannot use selection or crop tools

    I am using Photoshop Extended CS6.  A new problem has started to occur recently.  I can select a tool, but I can't change the tool type. For example, I can select the Lasso Tool and when I right-click the tool fly-out appears, but I cannot select a tool from the fly-out to change the tool type.  The editing tools, at least the ones I can select, still work except for the selection and crop tools.  For the crop tool, the crop lines appear at the edge of the image but they cannot be moved.  For the selection tools, nothing is selected.  I can still use menu commands such as Canvas Size.
    This happens when I open a file or start a new file.  I have Windows 7, 4G memory and nothing else running.  I have tried 32-bt and 64-bit versions.
    This has happened intermittently for a month or two.  In the past, freeing up space on a hard drive seemed to help.  But now I have 50G free on one drive and 30G free on another so I don't see how that could be the problem.  Rebooting allows me to use the crop tool once, but then the problem reoccurs.
    Ideas, anyone?

    No keyboard macro programs installed.  Microsoft Security Essentials is installed.  It says it is up to date and there are no problems.  A keyboard test program found no problems. I have tried two USB keyboards with the same results  I have 10% free on my system drive: and 15% free on my second drive.
    More clues:
    If I open Photoshop by opening a file, the problem immediately occurs. If I open Photoshop and then open a file, it works until I press a key as described above.
    The problem only occurs in Photoshop. I’ve tried lots of other programs, including Premiere, Audition and Illustrator; they all work correctly.
    The problem can occur without a keyboard attached.  As I described above, if I switch to another application (Windows Explorer in my test) and then switch back, the problem occurs.  This is true even if there is no internal keyboard and no USB keyboard.

  • WLS 8.1 - Entity Beans CMP - Oracle 10g Audit Tool

    Hi,
    We are defining the architecture of a new application on WebLogic Server 8.1 and Oracle 10g.
    We are thinking in using CMP Entity Beans and we need to integrate our system with Oracle Audit Tool.
    Can anybody give us some information about this issue ?
    Thanks,
    Javier Cano

    I really don't see the point of using CMP with an expensive, fully featured database like Oracle. MySQL or a flat file maybe. Otherwise it is just a waste of purchased resources.

  • Audit Procedure and Function Execution

    Hello,
    Does anyone know if Data Vault is capable of auditing procedure and function execution?
    Regards,
    Hugo

    Data Vault is a vault ... it does not perform auditing.
    Audit Vault, the title of this forum, is a vault that stores audit trail information ... it is not an auditing creation tool.
    If you want to audit procedure and function execution tell of your version and specifically what metrics you want for your audit trail.
    Also look at the following:

    scroll down to OWA_UTIL

  • Audit Tool for tracking

    Hi, Is there any audit tool which can provide us with the details fo the transaction code being used by a particular user along with the data being accessed / activity being performed by using the said t-code.
    Kindly let me know as soon as possible.

    > 1. Use sm20 and sm21 for audit logs. Check settings via sm19.
    > 2. Run st03n for txn details and users.
    > 3. Run STAD but you will get limited historical data.
    > 4. Run table SGOSHIST.
    > 5. Run SCU3 to check table data for logged tables.
    > 6. Table CDHDR for Header entry change.
    In addition to that you can use various server (specific) logs and extended tracing capabilities, some of which will have performance impacts.
    Lets wait for more information about the use-case before answering further.
    Cheers,
    Julius

    In MS Excel, this features are of great help!

    Only the automatic syntax checking and error messages on execution, so far as I know. Perhaps a fuller description of what you expect from these tools/functions would assist responders in finding suggestions on how to accomplish similar results.

  • Audition CS6 and onboard Audio

    I notice that the requirements for Audition CS6 contain a:
    Sound card compatible with ASIO protocol or Microsoft WDM/MM
    I did a search on here, and I saw that some people are using onboard audio for CS5.5, but I wasn't sure how cs6 would handle this? I'm not going to be doing intense audio editing - simply some of the ADR syncing tools and maybe filtering out background noise.
    I attempted to check different motherboards to see if it said anything about the sound on the board being compatible with ASIO protocol or Microsoft WDM/MM, but no luck. It really doesn't appear too often, except when I look at sound cards in the $100+ range.
    Any help would be appreciated. Thank You!

    Yeah, Audition CS6 works fine with the driver type set to MME, then using an onboard sound interface (in my case, on my laptop, a Realtek).  I'd never use it for any recording purposes but just for manipulating existing stuff I've yet to find a drawback--I do theatre work and sometimes do this for a quick edit or whatever without hooking up one of my external ASIO interfaces.
    Actually, I just thought of one minor drawback--if you want to use the same session on two different sound interfaces, you have to reset the hardware set up screen each time you change--but this isn't a biggy and can be minimised by using "Save As" and a different name if it you don't need all the changes available in both places.

    If you need to monitor only the users activity and check files (and binaries) integrity, you can use what we call File Integrity Checker, like Tripwire, AIDE, Samhain .

  • Package Audit Tool

    Does Arch Linux have a package auditing tool?
    I know Arch is usually on top of most packages. I recently completed a scan of an Arch system that suggested installing a package audit tool to determine vulnerable packages. I know some OS', like FreeBSD, have an option to scan for vulnerable packages and ports, but I didn't find anything in the wiki that was comparable.

    As far as I know, no such tool currently exists. But the Arch CVE Monitoring Team has expressed ideas for eventually making a tool. For now one can follow the security mailing list for advisories.

  • Inventory Audit Report and Inventory G/L Account discrepancy

    Good Day!
    Hi Everybody. I had experienced a discrepancy between the Inventory Audit Report and Inventory G/L Account.
    Before everything else, our client does not have any PO, GRPO. Only A/P Invoice and A/P Credit Memos so there are no difference being posted.
    There were also no transactions posted directly in Inventory G/L Account but from observation, there is a minor difference. This only happened with two transactions in AP Invoice with Negative Quantity.
    The AP Invoice is composed of a single item, the unit price is 180.00 x -58 pcs quantity. Total amount is -10,440.00.
    G/L Account posting is
    Inventory 10,440.00
    A/P                       10,440.00
    In the FIFO layering, the item cost is 200.00 (based on the current stock value) and the current stock quantity before posting is 80 pcs . Since this is a negative quantity A/P Invoice, it seems that the cost of the item when the transaction will be posted is  200 (based on the current stock value) so when I view the Inventory Audit Report amount, it says the inventory cost/posting is -11,600 (200 x -58).
    But on actual G/L Account, the posting is -10,440.00 from A/P Invoice, that's why the inventory discrepancy occurs. It seems that SAP B1's Inventory Audit Report confuses the FIFO cost posted versus G/L Account's posted based on the document. Since the document is A/P Invoice, SAP B1 assumes that the transaction will post the amount as the additional inventory cost and posting the inventory cost into Inventory G/L Account. However, since this is a negative document, the system is releasing the items, thus, FIFO kicks in. The Inventory Audit Report catches the amount based on FIFO costing. The problem is that the Inventory Audit Report is more accurate than the Inventory G/L Balance.
    Any suggestion to fix this guys?
