Href does not display when page is posted live

I am using CS3 on Mac OS 10.6. The page previews perfectly in Safari. When I email the page to our server, the href links are missing. For example, the banner doesn't use the correct font, and the background color the the whole page is missing. Please go to http://www.crhcarchives.org/links.html
All of the other pages on the website look correct. Thank you.

Look at the source on that page. There is virtually no styling on it....

Content does not display when page first opened

Hi All;
I have a contenta are/region which I have divided into multiple tabbed areas. I have two main tabs that divide the content into two major topics. Within each of these main areas I have added 4 to five tabs. One set for example holds a calendar, another tab a news release area and a third a content area for holding multiple folders of a department's documentation. The problem I am encountering is that when I first bring up the page all I see are the tabs and no matter what tab area is exposed the content within it is not displayed. For example, I start with the Calendar tab active (the calendar does not display). I then click on to say the document area, which displays all of its content's correctly. When I return to the calendar tab the calendar is displayed. My question... how can I ensure that the calendar (or any other tabbed area's content is displayed when the user first brings up the page?
PS. This is a hot topic since I will be demoing my pages to my managers next week in an effort to convince them that Oracle Portal is the way to go.

Screen briefly flashes white but does not display the page when the Safari icon or other icons are tapped.

A problem has just started with my IPAD Air after 3 months of use.
If I try to open Safari by tapping on the icon the screen briefly flashes white but does not display the page.
Similarly if I try to open Settings page, Mail page, Calendar or Clock the screen just briefly flashes but the Apps do not run.
Some of the Apps do work on tapping the icon e.g. Maps, iBooks, Appstore, iTunes, Newstand etc.
I do have some website links which display when the icon is tapped e.g. John Lewis but some links do not work.
I have ensured that the ipad is fully charged, powered it off an on again, and cleaned the screen with a lint free cloth but the
same problem keeps occurring.

I saume you used a second display at one time, otherwise the Display settings wouldn't be treating your primary display as a secondary.
IF you open your System Preferences>Displays (-System Preferences) and click "Gather Windows" it should pull everything to the display on which you clicked it.

After Mozilla upgraded (5 I think) my igoogle homepage does not display when I sign in.

I upgraded to Mozilla 5, (I think, as there does not seem to be any previous versions when I check), now my personalized igoogle homepage does not display when I sign in. I need to go to options then select igoogle. All was well before. How do I reset without having to completely redo my igoogle page. I do not believe I have the 6.0 version as that is what it says I can upgrade to. I am retired and am only learning.

Unless you have a version of iPhoto that was 9.0 or later you will not be able to download iPhoto 9.6.1 from the App Store. To get 9.6.1 you'll need to purchase a copy of the iLife 11 disk from an online retailer like Amazon.com and then go the App Store and download 9.6.1. Those who had an iPhoto 9.0 or later already installed have been able to get 9.6.1. But there's been no reports from anyone who bought iLife 11 and went that route so you're at your own risk.

SSLVPN in IE 8 or 9 does not display login page

I have a working setup with a customer using UC560 that uses SSLVPN and it works but only when using other browsers like Firefox and google chrome, when we try using IE version 8 or 9 we get prompted about the security certificate (the usual, as it's https) and after making the exception it does not display the login page, just this: Internet Explorer can't display this website, and that's about it, don't even get the chance to login nor download the anyconnect client, anyone know if there's a patch or something for this?

thanks for your response, unfortunately it's a UC560 not an SA500 so i don't have those options, so far I haven't found configuration options that deny IE or someting like that, it really is a weird problem and it's though to troubleshoot.
When I do debug webvpn http and try to enter the webpage with IE it shows this:

I wonder what difference do they have in the HTTP request line length, probably a browser problem, I'll keep looking into it like it's the browsers fault for now.

Video does not display when sending from Final Cut Pro to Motion

Suddenly, when sending an audio & video sequence to Motion, a new Motion file is created, and all my layers come in properly, but the video does not display.
The audio plays fine, and Motion clearly know that there are video tracks there, but it does not display them.
Additionally, when rendering the Motion file back in FCP, it turns in to black video.
I have previous sequences within the same project that were sent just fine, and are editable properly, but any new ones I try to create just come out black.
Help, please?

Do you have Motion mistakenly set to render out with an Alpha channel?
Double click your Motion clip in the Timeline. Go to Modify > Composite Mode in the menu bar and set the Alpha to "None/Ignore".

Firefox does not display MobileMe pages correctly. Is this something you are working on fixing?

Side bar in mail scroll bars are missing and bar will not expand fully. Clicking on an email does not display it on the same page, it requires double clicking and opens in a new page.
Side bar in Gallery also not expanding. Other problems with diplay in Contacts, Calender, etc.

Did you use the same [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] for the test with 3.6.x and 4.0 ?
Looks like a problem with JavaScript (Ajax).
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Firefox does not refresh the page after posting on IPS forums

I visit the forums at www.sailinganarchy.com. After replying to a post firefox does not refresh the page to show that the post is posted. But I open IE and I can see that the post is posted properly.
I am using FF 3.6.8 and this issue has only started in the last few days.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button

Video icon in buddy list does not display when iChat not running?

I have my father-in-law's computer setup to automatically log into iChat when he turns on the computer. However, it does not say he can video chat (the icon does not display) until he actually opens iChat. Is there any way around this? The only thing I thought of was to get iChat to open at login and just not display the buddy list.
Basically, I want him to be available to video chat with his grand daughter...but he doesn't need to see the buddy list or the app for that matter. She would initiate all chats.

I am trying to imagine what you have done here.
It is possible to have iChat as a Login Item.
It is possible for iChat to start Up with the Buddy Lists hidden.
From there Chats can be started from the File menu or Apple key and N together.
To do it this way you have to know the Screen Name of who you are calling.
You should be able to accept incoming A/V chats.

Notification on skpe in iphone 6 does not display when there is incoming messages

The user has a iphone6 and installed the latest Skype. However, when there is incoming messages, the badge(red counter) does not display in the icon.I have tried everything i could, background refresh, uninstall and reinstall,, check the settings and reboot the iphone a few times etc...but the notification badge simply will not show.Can anyone advise a remedy to this?Very much appreciated.

I used Iphone 5 till yesterday with IOS 7.2 and older version of Skype and no issues at all . I could see group chats and every single chat possible on my phone as on my laptop Now i have an Iphone 6 and the newest software and the skype application I CAN ONLY SEE PEOPLE but not group chats on my phone . I dont get notification about the group but i can easy see on my laptop that there are chats missedOnly if the person msg me away from that group I can get the msg on my phone WHy is this happening . Regarding "New Tab Page" - dragging a bookmark from the libary does not display when "+" is selected

It's maddening that I can't fix something so simple.
When I click on the "+" a new page opens with unpopulated entries for websites. I've tried the steps in "New Page Tab" and managed to drag and drop a bookmark from my "library".
The prompts look OK but the site does not appear in the vacant entry box. It looks like it should work. Is there a simple (stupid) step that I'm missing?

I want to choose what appears in the 9 boxes on the new tab screen. Why can't I click an empty box and enter the web address to be used for that box. Even if it did work, drag and drop a terrible way to do this. "Bookmarks-Add to new tabs" would be a 2 click operation. Instead some developer wanted to play with drag and drop and got it wrong. I suggest adding the simple functionality first and experiment with drag an drop later.
Also it is suggested that add-ons could stop the functionality from working. This is like saying your car won't start if you put a passenger in it. I'd guess someone just made that suggestion to try to be helpful rather than out of any actual experience of it fixing this problem.

XML Publisher report output in RTF format does not display full page

Hi,
We have one XML Publisher report, the output of report in RTF format is not getting displayed in Full Page in normal way (MS Word -->View menu --> Print layout) but we can see full page display when we do MS Word -->View menu --> Outline.
Appreciate your valuable inputs on this.
Is this a template issue or any profiles needs to be set.

DW8 does not display my page

Just installed DreamWeaver 8.0.2 and loaded first file
In CODE mode, I see the code... but no matter what I do in
DESIGN mode, all I see is a "bar" across the top of the page
(If I press F12 to view in browser, it works perfectly, I
just can NOT figure out how to have DW8 display the page!)
How do I get DW8 to show the results of the htm code so I
may make visual changes??

Jpeg image loaded with Loader- loadBytes() does not display when app is deployed on remote server

I am loading a JPEG image from the server, using the Loader->loadBytes() and that works when the app is deployed under my local Tomcat server. When I deploy it on other servers the image is not displayed, instead of the image I see II*

Thank you for the prompt reply, your question about the jpeg content was a helpful pointer.
I solved the problem, it had nothing to do with flex, it was all on the java side. The image was obtained from converting a TIFF to a JPEG, the conversion was failing and the flex loader was receiveing a tiff and it did not know how to display it.
The java problem was kind of interesting, I'll post it here as an FYI in case anybody cares :
On my server the first writer returned by ImageIO was an instance of JPEGImageWriter and on the other servers was CLibJPEGImageWriter. And it happens that only JPEGImageWrite can write the type of TIFF that we are having.
The fix was to iterate through all the writers and pick the instace of JPEGImageWrite, instead of the first one found.
