I have a requirement which needs to show the employee joining count in a daywise.we need to display the data in 365 days
the format should be like this.

Metalink id 231369.1 lists seeded available HRMS reports.
How to see/run reports of Type Discoverer? Does discoverer needs to be installed on server and intergrated with eBS to view these reports?

Tanveeryou will need discoverer installed to use the HRMS reports. as far as my understanding goes, you may not need a separate license for discoverer so long as it is used for eBiz data only. However, you will need the HR intelligence license to use the HR Intelligence reports.
Standard HRMS also delivers a few standard discoverer reports. However, you may find that they need to customized to your specific needs.
As suggested. Please check with your Oracle Account manager to be certain. -

do we have any oracle report in oracle HRMS that talks about Service award list
i need to have them generated using oracle discovThe term "Service Award" appears to be a enterprise-specific term or business requirement. What is it or how is it currently tracked or stored on your system. During HRMS Implementation and Configuration, one could conceivably create/track 'Service Award" functionality via any of the following (to name a few methods):
1. Payroll element entries
2. PTO and Absence Management Plans
3. Descriptive Flexfield segments
4. OAB/OSB plans
5. Derivation of various date fields
6. Compensation Award managed through Compensation Workbench
My point is that your implementers made configuration choices when setting up the system to accommodate this business requirement. We don't know where they chose to store or manage this user-specific data so we have no way of instructing you how to derive it for Discoverer reporting.

Hi all,
I got a requirement of developing an report which shows no. of employees and no. of resignees in an organization in a particular period.
i have picked up the resignees info from per_period_services with column 'actual termination date' being NULL.
but doesn't how calculate the no of Full time employees in an particular period.
Help needed in this regard.

Need technical help--HRMS Custom Reports
This is the first time I have developed an HRMS Report. When I run my report in the designer mode it works. But when I run the report through the application [after registering the new report in AOL], the report does not create any output.
Does the HRMS module have standard before report trigger procedures that I need to have just like the ERP:
example: srw.user_exit('FND SRWINIT').

Space at end of each line in the RDF report.
Hi All,
I am developing one HRMS report for sending salaries to bank. Bank has given one format, there should be 24 spaces at the end of each line in the report. But I am not getting any spaces in the report at the end of line. I have tried soo many ways to get that, but I unable to get spaces. If I put any character it is coming, but if I put space that is not coming.
Anyone please tell me how to get spaces at end of each line in RDF report. Its urgent guys...... Anyone please help me out.

Vertical Elasticity should be expand.
Also you can try by setting the property *"Vert. Space between frames"* for the Repeating frame.

3- created Oracle Report file (i testes all sql statmets using toad , successfly)
5- Tested the report , passed parameters , it is running successfully .
6- Cpied the reports to the next path (E:\oracle\testappl\per\11.5.0\reports\US)
7- Created Executable file (has the same name of the rdf file)
8- Created Concurrent program contains the same Executable file and the output format is 'PDF', Style = 'Landscape' , printer = 'noprint' , the added the parameters (the same named in the rdf file)
9- Added the Concurrent program to the HRMS 'Reports & Process'
10- From the HRMS Manager Responsibility , i submitted the request , passed the parameters .
11- Refresh , Pending , Runing , phase 'Completed' , Status 'Error'
12-View Log .. :

Unable to generate proper LDTs using mks toolkit on windows server.

We have installed EBS12.0.3 on windows XP platforms and to access the unix commands we are using mks toolkit verison 9.2
But we are not able to generate the correct ldt files for data migration.
The fndload command used to download ldt for alert is as mentioned below:

The same command works fine on linux using putty.
Are We missing anything or the issue might be because of the windows platform.
Please help us.

We have compared the LDt with the one generated with UNIX.
We are completely missing the data definition of the object.
Also today we tried to download LDT's for concurent program and request group, and request group Ldt is successfully downloaded but for concurrent program again it downloaded only entity definition and then failed to download object's data definition.
the commands used were:
Request group:

No data found in the discoverer Viewer from Apps responsabiltiy
Hi
We have built a new responsibility for the discoverer reports, that is we directly access the discoverer viewer from the separate responsibility,all the report that shared with the users can be viewed from this responsibility,
but when the user tries to run the report it is saying no data found.but for example if the user is trying to run the hrms report from this discoverer reasonability he get no data found but if we attach the function to the HRMS manager menu and try to access the report from the HRMS manager responsabilty we are able to get the data.
We did the same setup in dev and test.in dev it is working very fine but in test we are not able to see the records in the report if we try to access.
Please advice

I'm not 100% familiar with HR security, but sounds like profile option setup related to security - perhaps Business Group or Initialization SQL Statement - Oracle / Custom? Check the profile options set for the HRMS Manager responsibility and setup the same for your new responsibility.

Error while assigning supervisor to employee
Hi
I was trying to assign supervisor to an employee when i got the below error.
This is a production environment. The multi org setups are done in India Localization. They had attached default Key FFs in the BG and the key FFs had no segments/no valuesets...
Responsibility: HRMS Super User
Menu used is :GLB HRMS Navigator
Request Group used is : Global HRMS Reports & Process
I thought , might be the segments are not existing, that is the reason why the error is occuring while attaching supervisor to employee.
*1st Error : Please choose an existing combination* ( People>Enter and Maintain>Assignment )
So I attached segments for Job and position FF. I created Job successfully , but while creating position it threw another error.
*2nd error: You can not use the datetracked window, because HR is not installed, instead use non datetracked position window.*
Normally when we do in vision instance, we dont assign any job/position but still we could attach the supervisor..then why this issue occuring in production environment. Please Help.

Now in the assignment screen there are two places where you can create new KFF value.
1. People Group field
2. Statutory Information tab
OPen the assignment details for the person and check for these two flex fields. If there is any problem with the data present in any of these fields, you may get the aforementioned error while updating any field value in the assignment screen.
So check the value in these two fields and try to fix them. -
Reg. Special Character at end of each line
Hello Experts,
I have an internal table of type string which has to be uploaded into the directories
Each line has to be ended with a comma and for which I concatenated the work area and ',' before appending to the internal table. This is fine till this point.
After downloading the file from the directory, when opened with a notepad, i could see a special character (LINE FEED rectangular box) at the end of each line.
I couldn't understand why this character got appended at the end of each record. Pl suggest me on how i can overcome this special character.

I am developing one HRMS report for sending salaries to bank. Bank has given one format, there should be 24 spaces at the end of each line in the report. But I am not getting any spaces in the report at the end of line. I have tried soo many ways to get that, but I unable to get spaces. If I put any character it is coming, but if I put space that is not coming. For the line that is set the height of the Repeating Frame long enough to have the blank space. Vertical Elasticity should be expand.
Also you can try by setting the property *"Vert. Space between frames"* for the Repeating frame.
