I am just about to order quite an expensive 92 page large size book in Aperture & have used the Preview button and on viewing the book in the PDF using the 2 up continuous viewing mode I find that the page arrangement is all wrong with double page spreads now on separate pages and all my carefully designed pages in the wrong places. Will the book actually get printed like this? Regards,Keith
How did you create the preview of the book? It will look exactly like shown, when you press "Buy Book", then "Preview Book". This will open the Preview of you book in the "Preview" application. Set this to "Two-page mode". Then you should be able to see your double page spreads correctly, like here:

How can get all the components used on the current page
how can I get list of all components being used on the current page using javascript. I have tried CQ.WCM.getComponentList(CQ.WCM.getPagePath()) but this seems to list all the components available.
Environment CQ 5.5 Update 1, Widnows 7You have to remember that once you are in JS, you are only really able to retrieve markup or representations of the DOM. The markup is the result of a combination of components, which is technically a "server only" concept. Components are just a way for CQ to organize executable code, so once a page is rendered a component isn't really a thing. The closest thing I can think of is to list all of the DIVs that represent a component wrapper that are on the page, but this is error prone and clunky. You could also make AJAX calls back to the server to retrieve a list of the components by node name, but that approach would not return synthetic resources (ones that render, but do not have a node representing them).
Why are you trying to do this? Maybe someone has a better idea, but this has a bad smell to me. -

I am changing laptops and have tried to download and install Acrobat 9 Standard from the Adobe website, but get message that my serial number is invalid. I log in and double check my account and it shows as a valid serial number. Now what?
If you had it on a laptop that crashed and you threw away, it is still considered as activated on that machine. YOu should contact Adobe by chat or by phone and have them deactivate for you.

I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

What is your iPod firmware number as shown in the iTunes summary page?

I tried to update my phone, but it died so i had to restore it. The only back up i had was from 2 months ago. How do i get all the settings back from that huge gap of me not syncing it?

If you really want your contact back and you did not do another iCloud backap since you deleted some of your contacts, you can do a hard reboot on both devices with iClouded contacts by holding down the home and lock buttons on each of them for 10 seconds ignoring the slide to turn off thing. Make sure you have iCloud contact services off before doing so. You can then go through the whole set up process until you get up to the backup part. You then press to restore from an iCloud backup (make sure you choose the right backup for the right phone). If you didn't make an iCloud backup before the contact incident, you will have to use your two-month-old iTunes backups. Each phone should have their contacts the way they were from your last backup. You then go into Settings>iCloud>and turn off contacts. You then can choose if you want to keep your current contacts or not. Turn this off on both phones just incase you add another iCloud device to the mix later on. Now your contact lists are no longer linked (Caution: side effect may include lack of edit button). You may now add and delete contacts as you please without it happening on your other phone.

I bought an album that also came with music videos. All the songs downloaded properly, but none of the videos. Next to them it said Stopped-Error 3150, I tried to restart the downloads and now most just say Stopped, some say Stopped-Error 8003, which means Network issues, but after checking, I found there are no issues with my network. Help?
I am having this same problem with my brand new Mac Pro. It seems to be tied to the computer awaking from sleep (no I am not leaving the iPod connected while sleep... I am referring to waking the computer from sleep and then connecting iPod as opposed to restarting the computer and then connecting the iPod). In other words, if you are getting this error message, try ejecting the iPod, restart your computer, then connect the iPod and see if the error message goes away. For me it does, but I only get one shot at it, if I eject the iPod and then reconnect it, the error message returns. This happens on both iPods I have. I have rebooted (hold menu-select) and gone to disc mode (hold select-play) and the error message remains. The only way it goes away is to reboot the computer, then I get one shot at hooking up an iPod.
I NEVER had nor get this error message when I connect to the Windows PC that I started with. Perhaps the iPod does not like moving from PC to Mac? -
I just downloaded the latest version of firefox (5.0). Can I delete all the older versions that are still on my drive?
When I call up some web sites sometimes the web site comes up 3 or 4 times...how do I stop this from happening? For example if I click on a link the exact same link comes up 3 or 4 times and I have to manually delete all of them but one.Do you organise your email into separate folders, or do you just let it accumulate in the Inbox?
I would strongly advise you not to let it sit in the Inbox.
When you see this happening, try right-click on the affected folder, select '''Properties''' then '''Repair Folder'''.
Large folders (actually, a folder in Thunderbird is stored as a file, so it is sensitive to file size limits set by the underlying file system) can be problematic. This is one reason not to let messages collect in one folder. I use Thunderbird's Archive folders so that accumulated mails over several years can happily coexist because they are effectively stored in many small folders. No single mail store folder then exceeds the 2GB or 4GB sizes that have been known to stress the OS. I appreciate that current builds of Thunderbird and a modern 64-bit OS should be able to cope, but practically I find it slows down when given huge files, so I err towards a pragmatic solution; a large number of not very big files.
Archives are searchable, and a Saved Search folder can give you a virtual composite folder allowing access to the entire Archive. -
How do I get all the songs from an album to show in the album view? Currently, if an album lists the artist plus a guest artist, those are shown separately and appear to be two different albums on my iPod. How do I get all the songs on that album together on my iPod? If the album is a collaboration wtih many artists, each sond may appear as a separate album.
I used to have this problem.
First, you need to go back on iTunes
you need to go to each of the songs that are having this problem
Click the album so all the songs drop down
Right click the songs that have this problem
Click ' Get info '
Click the tab that says " info '
The box that says ' album artist ' should probably be empty (correct me if I'm wrong)
Click it and type the artist of the entire album, NOT the songs guest artist

The iphone is not a storage/backup device.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
Have you failed to do this?
If so, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

iMovie 11 is not working. I try to open it and it says it is generating thumbnails for one of my previous projects. All the commands are gray. I have to force it to quit. I just want to capture clips to start a new project. I googled the problem and there were discussions about deleting files in various folders and renaming clip extensions. I don't like the solutions I saw there and I am not sure they will work.
Nobody replied so I called Apple. They seemed to think they could fix the problem but I had to agree to pay about $20 first. I told them to put it down as a complaint. I only want to use the software I bought. I can't see that it is my fault it is malfunctioning. I guess I will have to pay. It doesn't seem right.
