HT1386 My notes aren't syncing from my iPad (iOS 6.1.3) to my Mac (OS 10.8.3, iTunes 11.0.2). HELP!

Took some notes on my iPad in a meeting this morning, and they're refusing to sync to my Mac. Help!
iPad iOS 6.1.3
Mac OS 10.8.3
iTunes 11.0.2
I have WiFi syncing on, and both devices are using the same

I just emailed the one note to myself and solved the issue.

  • My iMessages aren't syncing from my iPads to my IPhone

My iMessages aren't syncing from my iPhone to my iPads or from my iPads to each other. Why?

    Hey Ineedhelp2,
Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing issues with iMessage across your iOS devices. The following resource outlines troubleshooting information that you may find helpful:
    iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2755
If you aren't receiving iMessages across all iOS devices
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive on each iOS device and make sure that you signed in with your Apple ID. You must use the same Apple ID on each device.
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > You Can Be Reached By iMessage At and make sure that you selected each phone number and email address you want to use with iMessage.
If you linked a phone number to your Apple ID with iMessage and the phone number hasn't appeared, follow these steps.
Sign out of your Apple ID in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and Settings > FaceTime on all devices.
If you're linking a phone number to an Apple ID, sign in to iMessage on your iPhone first. Then sign in to the rest of your device one by one with iMessage and FaceTime.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • HT1386 stuck on waiting to sync from my iPad to my MacBook Pro

stuck on waiting to sync from my iPad to my MacBook Pro

Stop the sync and try again. Click on the X in the iTunes progress bar at the top to stop the sync. Eject the iPad. Quit iTunes, restart your Mac, reset your iPad and then try again.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • Notes won't sync from either iPad or iPhone to Macbook Air

So here is my problem. I have a yahoo account that allows my notes to go between my iPad and iPhone no problem, email works great too. BUT my notes won't sync up to my macbook, I've tried creating a new email account but every time I select the "notes" box I get the same error...
IF the stupid error is unknown then is there anyone out there that can tell me the mysteries of this magical unknown error so I can access my notes on my computer..please help. The account is a pop account, does that matter, should it be changed to imap? There are heaps of discussions about this and most of them are rabbit trails.

Which Mac OS and which iOS are you using? Are you having trouble with USB sync or wifi sync or both?

  • Notes aren't syncing through devices! Tried everything

I have tried everything. Spent a few hours reading back forums and nothing has worked. So here is the probelm: I am trying to get the notes from my 4s to appear in Icloud on my PC and on my IPad. They're both connected to ICloud and yet my IPad (under the Notes tab) doesn't show anything except font options. I wanted the notes from my 4s shared with Icloud on the PC and my Ipad. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

The same here... Several times did I switched on/off iCloud sync for notes in System Preferences, deleted and set up the account again and again. No success at all. Notes aren't syncing neither from icloud nor to icloud. This is really weird especially when I open internet browser at iCloud.com and see the notes appearing immediately after writting them either on iPad or iPhone (both IOS7)...
I'v got weird feeling folks. Too many errors and missconceptions in both Maverics and iOS7 to my taste... Particularly when most of these things worked perfectly in previous systems... This makes me really sad.

  • Video Podcasts Not Syncing From my iPad Mini to iTunes for Windows

Hello all.  I have the iPad Mini, and recently have been downloading my Podcasts there.
It occurred to me that in case something happens to my iPad, I should have my Podcasts backed up to my computer.  So, i downloaded iTunes for Windows on my computer.  I plugged my iPad Mini into my computer and synced it, so that my Podcasts would sync from my iPad Mini to my iTunes Library.
I noticed that all of my podcasts did sync, except for the 3 video podcasts I have.  None of the video podcasts synced.
Anyone know how I can get my video podcasts to sync from my iPad Mini to my iTunes Library?
    Thank you in advance!

Just wanted to kick my question back up. to see if anyone had any idea how to get my video podcasts to sync from my iPad Mini to iTunes on my computer.
Audio podcasts seem to be syncing fine.  Just the video podcasts are not.
    Thanks.

  • I recently asked a question regarding my ipad calendar not syncing.  Now I noticed I am unable to even add an event ( the   sign in the upper right hand corner) is greyed out, nothing happens when you touch it.  My notes aren't syncing either

Calendar not syncing, unable to add events as the + sign at the top right is greyed out and nothing happens when you touch it.  Then realized that my Notes aren't syncing either nor are my reminders.  What the heck is going on.  This ipad mini is just barely 6 months old.  Software is up to date.  Someone please help me.
I have always wanted an ipad now beginning to wonder why...

Turns out once I shut down the iPad and turned it back on my issues were resolved.
    Thank you

  • I have always synced my calendars on my ipad 2 ios 7 to those on my desktop mini running   OS 10.6.8. Now my calendars do not sync from the ipad to the mini. I need to have them coordinated

I have always synced my calendars on my ipad 2 ios 7 to those on my desktop mini running   OS 10.6.8. Now my calendars do not sync from the ipad to the mini. I need to have them coordinated

Because I have been a Mac user since 1989, I have many, many docs that are created in programs not campatible with 10. 7, so I still use a manual sync with snow leopard and my ipad, not the cloud as it is not available on snow leopard. I am signed on in both places with my one ID and password

  • My note has stopped syncing between my ipad and iphone

Note has stopped syncing between my ipad and my iphone. Can anybody help please?

Settings>icloud.  Assuming you have already set up the connection to icloud (ID, password), then turn on Calendars on that screen.
If they don't appear, then log into icloud.com using a computer's browser and look at the calendars page.  If empty, then you are not syncing calendars from your device to icloud.  If there, then be sure Calendars is turned on in Settings>iCloud or System Preferences>iCloud.

  • How can I export pictures NOT on camera roll from my ipad to my iMac?

How can I export pictures NOT on camera roll from my ipad to my iMac?

    Hello jcamengual,
I was having the same problem you're having - for those that don't understand... I synced photos on to my ipad which placed them inside "photos" not cameral roll. I then sold me laptop as I thought I had no need for it. When I bought my new iMac I tried to use my external hard drive which had my back up on, however my hard drive no longer works. Thus unable to retreive my photos on to my iMac!
Anyway... long of the short of it is theres no easy way. But there are a few ways. I'm currently using icloud's photo stream. As long as you have photo stream set up on your mac you can create a shared stream on the ipad with a friend. This shared stream will appear on your mac, you can then "import photos" straight from the shared stream.
Alternativley you could use something like drop box. Sync your pictures from iPad to drop box. Then download from drop box to Mac. As I said, no easy way that I have found but this does work. It just takes a long time.
    Key Facts:
You can have 5000 photos inside a sharred stream
You can have 100 sharred streams
Therefore you can stream 500,000 photos - I hope you don't have that many.
    All explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4858?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

    Hi,
There was a Messages beta for Lion but basically the app Messages comes with Mountain Lion.
You are asked for an Apple ID as the first step.
If you add this Apple ID to your iPhone the Apple ID and iPhone number become linked and iMessages sent to either will be "Received at " on both.
However this "Syncing" as Apple calls it only starts from the day/Time they are linked.
Open chats that exist on the iPhone are not transferred to other devices.
In fact the "sync" is Display on all devices and nothing more.
Any action on the iPhone to an iMessages does not happen to those showing on your Mac version (or an iPad)

  • I did not find any difference from my iPad 2 and iPad 3?

I did not find any difference from my iPad 2 and my iPad 3, I am wondering did they sell me the same iPad

Look at the model number on the back of the box and enter that number into a Google search. That will tell you wich model you have.
The new iPad comes in a box that simply says iPad on it so you can probably rest assured that you did receive the new iPad, but do the Google search if it makes you feel better.
    Try here as well.
