HT1918 I changed my iTunes home page to UK. How do I go back to a Canadian account/homepage?

While trying to purchase a song from UK iTunes that you can't get on the Canadian iTunes I have changed over to the UK version of iTunes and I think I have potentially ported my account over to a UK account but I'm not sure. Is anyone able to guide me back to the Canadian version?

Unless you changed the billing address on your account then your account should still be here in the UK. If you are still logged into your account then use the Store > Sign Out menu option to sign out of it, and then (or if you are not still logged in) try the Store > Sign In menu option and see if that puts your back on the UK pages.
There should also be a flag at the bottom right of the iTunes store home page which you can click on

My Mac Book Pro changes the saved home page each time I open Safari. I am also getting random tabs opening with various "cleaning up" my computer junk.

You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
Malware is also found on websites that traffic in pirated content such as video. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
or
Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
if it's not already checked.

If you can open Safari go to the top of your screen, click Safari / Preferences then select the General stab. You can type in the web address for your Home page there.

ITunes 10.5.0.142 prevents 'auto-hide' task bar reappearing on scroll-over at page bottom when ITunes home page is up. Task bar appears and hides fine on other windows. OS: Win 7.

In Windows 7 my latest ITunes version won't let the 'autohide' feature work for my task bar. I have mine set at the bottom of all pages, and they all work when the Itunes page is up. But not the ITunes home page itself. The task bar is gone, and won't appear on scroll-over.
Look, I'm not going to kill myself over it. I just have to minimize the IT page to get to another task bar.
But I like my auto-hide and won't disable it, and I like what's been done with the new version of IT and - of course - won't get rid of that. I just want them to live together happily ever after.

Itunes home page looks cut off in window 7 64 bit

My iTunes Home page look like it is squished on some of the text lines. Is there a fix for this. I am running windows 7 64 bit Ultimate @1920 x 1200.

Are you talking about many texts are missing from iTunes page. It probably has something to do with Segoe UI fonts in your system.

What is the best way to make a temporary change to my home page?

I plan to make a change to my home page that will last about a month. I will include information about a current exhibition I am having. Then I will revert back to my current page. My planned approach is to copy and save my current "domain" file, make changes to the copy, publish, then in a month revert backed to the saved original.
Does this sound like a good approach? Anyone see any problems in doing it this way or better ideas?

That's should be fine. Making a copy of your "Domain" files will backup your actual site that could be used to publish it again later on.

ITunes home page issue

I am using iTunes v. 11.0.1 and can't seem to get it to open anywhere but the Store. I finally added the sidebar which gives me access to music,etc. Now it will open to my music, or category I have chosen in sidebar, but never seems to open at the regular iTunes Home Page. What am I missing? Thanks!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
This is nothing to do with homne sharing. These issues arise when you share an Apple ID for services such as messages, iCloud, FaceTime etc.
You need to go into the settings for each of those apps and set them up with a unique Apple ID for each user.

By default Firefox opens a blank page for a new Tab, there is no setting to change that action without installing an add-on.

The error means that your antivirus or firewall is blocking the update process.
