I tried to sync my iPad to my iMac and now some of my apps are no longer on my iPad. How do I get them back on my iPad?
You can either re-download them directly on the iPad from the Purchased tab in the App Store app, or re-download them on your computer's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page and then sync them to the iPad : re-downloading.

Aren't those the default games that come with the iPod Classic? If so, they won't be in your iTunes library, but only on your iPod Classic itself as they are built in the iPod's software.

Sorry, but movies cannot be downloaded more than once without charge, so if you don't have a viable backup, you may be out of luck. You can, however, contact the iTunes Store, explain the situation, and see if they can make an exception for you.

Hello, my name is Octavia Hall. I was on the computer and I was just trying to sync/backup all of my games so that way, if I accidentally delete on of my game(s), then i would go on the computer and get it back. Now, for some reason, my games are now gone, how do I get them back?
Did you set up your phone to sync Contacts with iCloud? If not sure, you can log in to https://www.icloud.com and see if your contacts are there.

When you say you were "trying to run your computer in admin mode," what exactly does that mean? What did you do? Details here are critical. It's possible you are just logged into the wrong account, or something simple like that, and your files are all still there. On the other hand, it's possible they're all gone... in which case, what kind of backups do you have?

I'm relieved the playlists (there are 11 in the folder) are still on my phone, but I can find them nowhere in itunes. Other playlists are still there- just that one folder has disappeared. I synched my new ipad to the library, and when I did, the playlist was not one of the options in itunes.
Background: I have enabled sharing on our home network, and I haven't moved the locations of itunes files or changed anything with my computer, the settings, or my itunes login (apple id).
My goal is to restore the playlists from my iphone to the itunes library on my laptop so I can then synch the playlists to my ipad.
Thank you for your help!Music is not included in the backup (and nor are films or tv shows), only the contents of third-party apps are included. Did you not do File > Transfer Purchases when connected to your computer's iTunes to copy your iTunes purchases over, and/or have you not got a backup copy of your music somewhere e.g. on an external drive ?

If these songs were only on your iPod Touch and not in your iTunes library or backed up anywhere else, them I'm afraid you are out of luck.
If they are iTunes purchases and you live in the US, see this Apple support document about redownloading them at no cost.

For music that was imported from outside of iTunes, you'll need to reimport those again.

call the APPLE store, even though it reconize you purchase them already, APPLE will charge you again. it happened to me. when u call them they can resend them to your phone FREE of charge. It makes no sense, i mean they know you already purchase them, then y dont they just allow us to redownload them free of charge.SMDH

I assume that you are familiar with your iPad's portrait orientation lock feature and you have verified your iPhone is not locked in this manner.
In case you're not familiar, please make sure this icon does not appear on your iPad's status bar:
If your iPad is not in portrait orientation lock, then the app developer should be prodded into updating their app to fix this defect. Generally speaking, the App Store indicates a way to contact the developer to inform them of such defects. -

You have the files on your computer? If so, then just get them back into iTunes and sync them back onto your iPad. You can use the books part of iTUnes, or if you reader app has a data transfer option, use that to sync them back onto your device.

You need to copy everything from your old computer to your new one.
