Police don't "track down" lost items, per se. They'll keep your information on file in the event that someone finds your iPod and turns it in. Otherwise, there's nothing the police can or will do in regards to finding lost property.

I used an account from my friend to download some apps. Because i forget my apple ID. Now I have my new apple ID but I don't know how to change it in my ipod touch 4G. Still the name of my friend is in the apps store. How to delate that name and change with my new apple account?

This is if you deleted not only the Mac App Store, but iTunes, Calendar, whatever came with the Mac (Apps that came already installed on the Mac), if you deleted one of those then you have to reinstall the Mac OS, Note: This one is for Mac OS X (Maverick) my version is 10.9.4, go to that link and follow the instructions if you have Mac OS X (Maverick). Other help: Common Mistake: If you delete the app from the dock then just go to finder and applications folder and drag the app back onto the dock(it was just deleted from the dock NOT your system/computer). Hope that helps others who had the same problem.

We have a valid serial number and the original 9.0 media set. When I tried migrating the App Store updated it free of charge. However I don't know how to get Logic on without migrating as it point blank refuses when I insert the install disk.

Something is not quite right here:
I have the original Studio 2 disks here, and the installer runs fine under OSX.8.3. It will install Logic Pro 9.0.0, which can then be updated by downloading the 9.1.7 or 9.1.8 updater from Apple Downloads.
On your system, the installer refuses to run, or does the install proceed, but you are unable to update Logic so that it will work on Mountain Lion?

i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......
and the same magic was supposed to happen in reverse.

I have restored my iPad because of password problem and after it's done restoring and when I connected the device in to itunes it's asking about the icloud information that is linked with the iPad but the fact is I don't remember any of it's informations i.e icloud id, password, recovery email address or security questions. My hard drive failed and so was replaced, luckily everything was backed up on time machine.
I tried to do a full restore, and it went through the process but I couldn't see my files anywhere on the HD. I tried again and same thing. Eventually I used Migration Assistant and this worked fine.
However my hard drive is now full - all my previous restores went somewhere but I can't get at them.
Can anyone please help, I need to delete them from my system.
ThanksIs the HDD in the 2009 15" MBP dead? (The original source of your data) If not, you might want ot take it out and put it in an enclosure.
You might try spotlight on know files to see if that gives you any clues where your data is located.
You might down load from the Internet OmniDiskSweeper (free) and open it. It should show you all of the files you have on your MBP and enable to locate them.

I have 5 devices authorized to my itunes account. 2 of them crashed long ago. Now that I have a new pc, I am unable to authorize it. I think from what I've read that I should "deauthorize all" and then go back and authorize my current 3 devices. Is this correct? I have tons of music and need to make sure I won't lose anything. I would sure appreciate the help! Thanks!!!
No that is not correct.
Devices do not count toward the 5. Authorization is only for computers, not iphone/ipod/ipad/Apple tv.
You do not authorize or deauthorize devices at all.
If you have reached the limit of 5 authorized COMPUTERS, then deauthorize all and the authorize the active COMPUTERS. -
Can't add events to my calener!
Where are you signed into iCloud? It has to be in System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud to be able to be the 'primary account' and use Photo Stream. The Mail, Contacts and Calendars preference pane is for additional iCloud accounts and if you are signed in there most things will work but Photo Stream will not.

When you create an iTunes account you should receive an email to the primary email address that you put on the account - that email should have a 'verify now' link in it which you need to click on and which will open a browser for you to log into your account from.
