I live in the San Fernando Valley and I get weather info for the Los Angeles area. Is there a way to change the pull down notification center to provide correct weather info?

I understand what you have explained. Everything is set properly. However, does not solve the issue. I know how to add cities, but you cannot select these cities for pull down notification weather info. I guess this is something that happens in our area. I live in 91343 and it shows info for 90012. Available Space in 'Get Info' for HDD does not match with the files

I have a 75G HDD on this Macbook. The 'Get Info' for the HDD says I only have 1G of space available. However, when I go item by item in the HDD, and total the sizes myself, it only totals to 30G of space being used.
Anyone heard of this problem before? Are there files hiding somewhere? How can I get more useful space on this HDD?

use something like Disk Inventory; JDisk Report or OmniDisk Sweeper to really find out what is consuming your disk space.

OSX hides quite a lot of system files from the user for the sake of safety.

BIOS SETTINGS so usb floppy and external cd/dvd player work
Boot the laptop while holding down the ESC key. It'll beep at you and display 'Check system. Then press [F1] key'. Press the F1 key. This gets you into bios settings. The keys to navigate through this are shown at the bottom of the screen.
There's four things you want to change from their default settings.
In the 'Peripheral' section:
Set 'USB-FDD Legacy Emulation' to 'Enabled'
In the 'Boot Priority' section:
Set 'Boot Priority' to any option where 'FDD' comes before 'HDD'
Use the PgDn key to move to the next screen.
In the 'Configuration' section:
Set 'Device Config.' to 'All Devices'
In the 'PC Card' section:
Set 'Controller Mode' to 'CardBus/16-bit'
The boot priority option is only needed for the install (and you may be able to boot from CD if you set the PC card controller correctly .

Well, as far as I know the USB-FDD emulation is needed if you use the WinNT on your notebook. This option has no influence on WinXP or on other Windows OS.
You need a Toshiba Mobile PCMCIA - CD-ROM/DVD compatible drive to boot or to install the OS from CD.
If you want to buy one so I recommend to order this part from the ASP because you will be 100% sure that you can boot from this drive.

If you have updated to iTunes 11, click on View > Show Sidebar
Then, select your playlist and choose File > Print
You will have the option to print a jewel case like you did before

To scan a 2-sided document, you will need to change the scanner settings in the software.
If you are using Capture On Touch:
You will need to turn off the "Scan in Full Auto" option.
Next, you will open [Scanner Settings] and change the "Scanning Side" to Duplex.
Verify that the [Color Mode] shows "24-bit Color" and when you get the option to save the file, verify the [File Type] shows as "PDF".
If you are using CapturePerfect:
Click [Scan].
Click [Scanner Settings].
Change the [Scan Side] to "Duplex".
Verify that [Color Mode] is set for "Color" and then save the file as "PDF".

Weather and Stocks widgets are not appearing in my notification center

I just updated my iPad 2 to iOS 5 and the weather and stock widgets are not appearing in my notification center. I tried to look for them under the notificatns tab in the settings app to activate them (which I read in an unofficial article) but they're not there. Can anyone please help?

There are couple of reason behind it.
main reason is
take one scenario we have DSO as source and cube as target.
Now DSO contains only 1 request, which i have loaded to cube by using delta.
after that i have deleted DSO content by using right click on it and delete data.
(hope u know that it will not delete request from target automatically)
now once again i have loaded same request from datasource to DSO
and then loaded delta again from DSO to cube.
In this case for 1 single request in DSO you can see 2 request in cube with same data.

Are you aware it only syncs iMessages. Also once enabled only new messages will sync, try messaging the user from the Mac and see if that gets things going for you.

Using the System.out.format, how do I print out the value of a double such that it looks exactly like it does if it were print from a System.out.println.
For example, take the following code:
double d = 12.48564734342343;
System.out.format("d as format: %f\n", d);
System.out.println("d as sout: " + d);Running the code, I get:

d as format: 12.485647
d as sout: 12.48564734342343

The precision of d has been lost.
I could bump up the precision as follows:
double d = 12.48564734342343;
System.out.format("d as format: %.14f\n", d);
System.out.println("d as sout: " + d);That appears to work, I get:

d as format: 12.48564734342343
d as sout: 12.48564734342343

However, that solution fails if d has a different precision, say 12.48. In that case I get:

d as format: 12.48000000000000
d as sout: 12.48

So how do I get System.out.format to print out doubles with the same precision as System.out.println?

I am simply looking for a way to quickly print out multiple variables on a sysout while debugging. I want it as syntactically sweet as possible. System.out.println can be a pain when outputting multiple variables like the following:
"System.out.println("a: " + a + "; b:" + b + "; c: " + c);"
For some reason, my fingers always typo the plus key.
I was hoping that System.out.format would be easier,along the lines of:
"System.out.format("a: %f, b: %f, c: %f\n", a, b, c);"
From a syntactical sweetness point of view, it is easier. However, the %f on doubles truncates the precision. I figured there must be a way to get the full precision.
DecimalFormat is syntactically sour for this purpose, as you need to instantiate the DecimalFormat.
