No. You can't. Filtering would have to be done at the server level.

    thanks a lot jerry.
Can I ask you another question?
it works well but it gives me a number like  14,567

I do know the seperate folmula to round up numbers but can I combine the two formula's ?

  • I use iPhoto and want to know how to get the 'key photo' i select on my MacBook Pro to be the one that gets used on my iPhone when i sync them. Any ideas? also, i want the events to appear in the order i choose on my MacBook too

I use iPhoto and want to know how to get the 'key photo' i select on my McBook Pro to be the same one that gets used on my iPhone 5s when i sync. i also want the events to appear on the iPhone in the same order i have them on my macbook. any ideas there too?

My new yahoo account nestles comfortably in iCloud on the mine iPad.
No, your Yahoo account is not in iCloud (which only handles iCloud mail), it is in Yahoo, and the Yahoo mail account is on your iPad.
But the MacBook Pro will have none of it! I write this question now as I fear that I will be totally demented very soon and unable to formulate my thoughts clearly!
Get the correct settings for your account from Yahoo and set it up manually.
By the way, I also find the "password" issue problematical. It seems Apple want my Apple password rather than my eMail password. All very confusing.
That would depend on what you are trying to do.

  • I'm hiring a Macbook Pro, using Aperture and want to know how to export too another Mac?

    Hi.
I'm hiring a macbook pro for the day, and will be using Aperture. I am going to be shooting  four to five projects in RAW format and would like to know the following sequences of how to save all the images and re install the images onto my own personal mac at the end of the day? So the hired laptop has none of my images on and the images processed and edited to go back on my imac at home!
How do i save the images? Whats the best using a mobile hard drive?
Do I open a new vault and save, then drag the vault over to the mobile Hard drive?
Or is there a simpler way? As i'm very new to all this backing up etc!
    Answers always appreicaited!

Hi Jettone.  As I see, you have three things (at least) to address.
How to bring your days work into your existing Aperture Library is the easiest of them.  Import your "day" Library into your current Library using "File→Import→Library/Project" and then select "Add" from the dialog box.  Full instructions -- and information you'll want to know for your project -- are on this page of the User Manual:
    Working with Library Files
The second-easiest thing you face is how to connect the two machines to make the transfer.  There are many good ways to do this (wired, wireless, ad hoc, etc.).
The only difficulty you face (other than making good captures ), is deciding how much data-security you need, and how to implement it.  If you have a spare external FW drive around, I'd take it and periodically copy the new Aperture Library (your "day" Library) to it.  Then make one final copy, and use it to transfer the day's work to your current Library before you turn in the rented laptop.
If you don't have a spare FW drive hanging around -- buy one.  Get a quad-interface with FW800 and/or eSATA.  Think of it as a thumb drive for photographers.
(Forget about Vaults.  They serve no purpose for you in this regard.)

  • I just want to know what specific smart phones that I can purchase that use Firefox. Thanks.

I am purchasing a mobile phone after not having one for five years. I like to use Firefox at home and need to know specifically what smart phones use this product. The android 2.2 etc. and the rest really does not mean anything to me. You could tell me how to find this information on your website. I found one page that listed devices but then it said something about going to Google Play Store and you lost me. FYI, I have a very sharp learning curve.

Will Firefox work on my mobile device? | How to
Will Firefox work on my mobile device?
Firefox is compatible with Android 2.2 and above devices. Installation requires about 24 MB internal storage, 384 MB of RAM and a display that is at least 320 pixels high and 240 pixels wide. You can download Firefox for Android or search for Firefox in the Google Play store.
Important: Some of the devices listed here only work with the latest version of Firefox. If you search for Firefox in the Google Play store and don't find it, your device may not be compatible.

  • I have a macbook pro and use BT homehub 3.  can't work out how to connect my time capsule. can anyone help, thanks.

I have a macbook pro and use BT homehub 3.  can't work out how to connect my time capsule. can anyone help?  thanks

Just need to plug the TC in to the hub in bridge mode.. do not try and bridge the homehub.. it is not possible with the setup BT uses.
To bridge the TC.. plug it directly into a computer by ethernet.. no other connection to the TC or the computer.
Press and hold in reset until the front LED flashes rapidly.. about 10sec.
    Release the reset.
Open the airport utility and setup the TC to bridge mode.
The actual method depends on version of the OS and airport utility you use.
    This is version 5.
Sorry I cannot post the v6 as I am on a snow leopard computer now. But you go to the network tab, and choose off bridge mode for method of connection. It will be NAT and dhcp by default.
Then setup wireless.. you have a number of choices here.
Either setup with the same SSID Security and password, as the homehub uses.. or a different name, and password..
Each method works fine.. but you sometimes have issues with wireless channels.. for now leave it on auto and see what happens.. if you have issues lock down the radio channels on both devices.. use one out of the following on each, 1, 6, 11 or 13 in UK.. so say 6 on the homehub then 13 onthe TC.
Update the TC.. unplug fromt the computer and plug it into the homehub.
If you have other issues with the setup tell us what OS you run so we can post suitable screenshots.

My content was obtained through another ID, which popped up earlier. Now this one doesn't pop up, and my current ID doesn't pop up either, but another one. How do you find an ID which is not in the store, and not in Mail, contacts etc. either?
Or is it possible to write the ID yourself when you want to buy something, not only to have it popped up being unable to be changed?

P.S: For the iphone 4S. is there any difference for the one from online shop or the actual store?

iPhones purchased from the online Apple Store in Australia will be unlocked. To the best of my knowledge, unlocked iPhone are not available from the physical Apple Stores at this time, though you can call the Apple Store in Melbourne and inquire.
Note that the warranty on iPhones is not international, so if you purchase an iPhone in Australia and it needs service, you would have to ship the iPhone to someone in Australia to take or send to Apple for service and then ship it back to you.
    Regards.

    Hi
Just to clarify a couple of points in your post.
RAM (memory) is different from hard drive space. You have 4GB of RAM, but that has no bearing on the amount of drive space you have, of which we know that 79GB are photos.
If those photos are in iPhoto, you should be able to move the entire iPhoto Library, from the Pictures folder, to your external hard drive. You can just drag and drop. Do not have iPhoto open while you're doing this. Once it's done, you can double-click on the moved iPhoto Library file to associate it with iPhoto, so that the app remembers where the library is for next time.
One more thing. When you move a file to a different location, and then delete the original, you don't have a backup. You still only have one copy. So if that external drive dies, you will lose all your photos. Time Machine is a very good way to prevent this from happening. You should dedicate a different drive for Time Machine backups.

Your's may look more like this...
...if you're running Mountain Lion. I'm in clamshell mode right now, so I don't have any mirroring options. AFAIK, there's no more "Show displays in menu bar" in Mountain Lion.
