Why is it that everything is fine with my verizon account and apple is messing with my pre order of the iphone 5 telling me that verizon is "rejecting" my order.. My verizon account is fine, and I am eligible for an upgrade, there is no past due balance.. the order went from being prepared to ship back to processing 2 days before it's supposed to get here.. still says it's going to deliver 9/21, yet it still stuck in processing mode, called apple for the past couple of days since i ordered it ON TIME and basically spoke to 17 different people telling me all different things and seems as if it just becomes more and more of a problem..
this what most people say, track in on UPS website using your phone number. its TRUE and better tracking info

I recently had my network professionally upgraded to a domain server. The installer left me with Thunderbird 3.1.7 as he could not and did not install to the latest version (which I was using) as it just wouldn't work. My system is Windows 8.1 Pro and is 64 bit. When I upgrade to 31.3.0 and open Thunderbird my screen is essentially blank. I see none of my accounts on the left side and I can see no email. I see the tool bar at the top and can select those items. If I go to "Tools" and then "Account settings" I can see all my accounts and all seems to be set up correctly. Likewise I can see my address book. If a new email comes in I hear a "Ding" and see a notice in the lower left but cannot view any content. I can create an email. If I change back to 3.1.7 I can see everything, including emails that have come in while trying to wake up 31.3.0. I will return to the old version for now to read any help you may have to offer. Thank you.
I have given up on a solution and it is probably best. I have so many emails that it would be beneficial all around if I started fresh without copying any emails at all. I would start fresh and hope to copy my address book, message filters and possible by folder structure to my fresh start. To that end I have made a new post asking how to freeze my current version and add a 2nd separate version to use from this point forward. Probably a much better choice as I have over 10 years of emails!!

Why is Apple NOT allowing pre-orders of the iPhone 4 in some countries (AU)
I went on the Apple website for one of their Melbourne stores (Chadstone) and to my disgust I saw that the iPhone 4 would be available on a first come, first serve basis and you WILL NOT be able to pre-order them online. Why??? Come on Apple, answer this!

I just put Facetime on my MacBook and Ipad. I can connect and recieve video but no sound. The other person can hear me. If I use Skype everything works fine. I can't find any where in Facetime to change settings for the audio. Any suggestions
Options for when an iOS device gets locked because of forgotten passcode:
Restore (and reset passcode) on your device by connecting it to the last computer to which it was connected:

If you cannot connect it to the computer to which the device was last connected (or the device was never connected to a computer) you will have to use recovery mode to completely reset the device, losing all data:

Lion uses Recovery to reinstall OS X. Press Command and R keys when your Mac starts, open Disk Utility, erase the drive and reinstall Lion. The other Mac has probably got its hard disk damaged, so take the Mac to an Apple Store -
Did a clean install 10.9.4. on a Apple Stock 1TB Fusion Hard Drive. When I run "diskutil list" via Terminal, everything is wrong. I have "EFI" and "apple Boot Boot OSX" in every dev/disk** Everything is out of place, How can I repair? Im willing too reformat if need be, however thats what I did in the first place. It sounds as if your graphics chip (on the logic board) is failing. The other answer could be that your screen is not well, but I lean more towards the graphics chip. If you have Apple care or are still under warranty, call Apple.

To create a new apple ID, if I sign out of the current Apple ID account, and then sign in with a newly created account, will I lose any songs or apps on my Iphone and Macbook Pro computer that were downloaded from the old apple ID?
No, you will not loose anything. However, if you ever need to update any of that previously purchased content, or re-download it, you will have to use the older AppleID. Purchases are permanently tied to the AppleID you use when making the purchase.

Me and my daughter are using the same Apple id and we share the same iCloud account. I want to change her Apple id so that she will have her own icloud account and I will have mine.

AriTo migrate her device to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos she wants to keep to her amera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow, then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If she is syncing notes with iCloud, you'll need to open each of the notes and email them to her so she can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in her new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create her new account and choose Merge to upload the data.
Once you are on separate accounts you can each go to icloud.com from a computer and delete the other person's data from your account. -
i bought a new iphone and as i was setting my apple ID account and i signed in to my account and confirmed two useres with diffrent numbers that were signed to the same apple ID and it messed up my i messege and face time. how do i fix that or delete one user ?

Go to Settings > FaceTime, tap your Apple ID, and select Sign Out.

I have an iPhone sync'd to my iTunes. My boyfriend has his own iPhone with his iTunes account set up within it. We want to sync his iPhone to my iTunes account on the PC but we want to retain everything from both phones and the iTunes account. Is this possible? Help!

I just bought a Mac Book Pro and the Appstore show one upgrade of iPhoto (9.2.1). I started a section with my Apple ID (the account that I have I use to iTunes) but when I try to update it says that there are upgrades available for other accounts and that I have to upgrade using the account that I used to buy iPhoto. My iPad conveys that it is disabled, and that I need to connect to iTunes. When I connect to iTunes I get a message that I need to enter my pass code and open my Ipad, but I don't get the scree with the number board to open with a password. How do I fix this?
You will need to restore it. The sidebar of your iPad appears on itunes even if you dont enter the passcode. There's the option to restore it. More info:
