How do I delete pictures in icloud to create more storage? I have 1,700 pictures and my phone will not let me backup , I have replaced my phone for power was going out every couple of days and did not know what to do , they send me a other phone with set up all my pictures from Ipad and phone must have filled icloud up.
    Thank you

    Welcome to the Apple community.
When you delete the account from your device, you will be given the opportunity to save Safari data, reminders, calendars and contacts to your device, which you can later merge with the other account once you login.
You won't be able to save your photo stream photos in the same way, so if you have any photo stream photos that are not already in your camera roll, you should move them there before you delete your account.
Your iWork documents can be saved to iTunes on your device, but if you have them on a Mac they would be much easier to save to your desktop there. You can move them back after you switch.
Notes can be shared to messages or mail and copy and pasted back after the switch. Although if you have a Mac, you may find it easier to do there. You could also use a temporary secondary account (see last item) to log into both accounts and copy and paste directly into your other account.
You can set up Mail forwarding at iCloud.com mail preferences (little gear icon-bottom left) to receive mail from your old address to your new one.
As an alternative to just switching, you might consider switching and adding your previous account back as a secondary account at settings > mail, contacts, calendars. You would still need to move your photos and iWork documents and save your safari data, but you'd have access to your old mail, contacts, calendars, reminders and notes.

Photos are downloaded to a computer from an iPhone similar to the way a digital camera works. Using iCloud to transfer photos to a PC requires the iCloud Control Panel. Read this article for more help on both methods:

  • How to view data in tables by selecting the synonym from the database objec

I could not figure out how to view data in tables by selecting the synonym from the database objects navigation tree. I had to first choose the synonym, view the details of the synonym to determine the table name, and then select the table from the database objects tree. Is this the only way available?

This functionality currently does not exist. I don't see it on the 1.1 statement of direction either, so perhaps someone from Oracle can give some insight as to when this could be expected.

  • When browsing a new library that I created, the browser shows dotted lines around grey rectangles, no images. When I double click on a rectangle the image appears. How do I get images to appear in the browser rectangles?

When browsing a new library that I created and exported onto an external hard drive, the browser shows dotted lines around grey rectangles, no images. When I double click on a rectangle, the image appears, but all the other rectangles remain empty - no image. How do I get images to appear in the browser rectangles? I am viewing this on a second computer (an older intel duo iMac), not the one I created the library on (a MacBook Pro). Both computers have Aperture 3.2.4 installed. When I return the external to the MacBook, all images appear in browser rectangles. What's happening on the iMac?

You may have a problem with the permissions on your external volume. Probably you are not the owner of your library on the second mac.
If you have not already done so, set the "Ignore Ownership on this Volume" flag on your external volume. To do this, select the volume in the Finder and use the Finder command "File > Get Info" (or ⌘I).
In the "Get Info" panel disclose the "Sharing & Permissions" brick, open the padlock, and enable the "Ignore Ownership on this Volume" flag. You will have to authentificate as administrator to do this.
Then run the "Aperture Library First Aid Tools" on this library and repair the permissions. To launch the "First Aid Tools" hold down the ⌥⌘-key combination while you double click your Aperture Library. Select "Repair Permissions" and run the repair; then repeat with "Repair Database". Do this on the omputer where you created the library and where you can see the thumbnails.
Then check, if you now are able to read the library properly on your iMac.

How do I view my pictures that are in my iCloud?

If you mean PhotoStream, this is purely a conduit for shunting photos taken on one device onto all the others: its contents are not viewable online.

  • How do I download pictures from icloud backup to a new device

I just bought a new iPad yesterday because my iPhone was stolen a few weeks ago.  That phone was backed up to iCloud.  How do I get the pictures from iCloud back up to my new iPad?  I heard there is a short time period to retrieve them and I may be out of luck but need to try.  Any help will be much appreciated.

Thank you for helping me.  Technology is not my strong suit.  I will explain how I got into this situation and then maybe there is another way to recover these photos:
I finally decided to upgrade my unlocked Canadian iPhone 3 to a 4S here in California.
The AT&T store personnel had a hard time getting the photos from the 3 to the 4S directly so they downloaded the photos from the 3 onto a computer and then to the 4S.  I apologize, I'm not sure how to see if the photos are in the Photo Stream but I know they were on the Camera Roll.
After getting home, I was having issues downloading from iTunes. I think it was because the 3 was originally from Canada so the 4S kept sending me to the Canadian iTunes store when trying to log on.  We decided to wait and take the phone to an Apple store to get help however the phone was stolen shorty thereafter.
A couple of days ago we bought an iPad and thought we should try and recover the photos from that phone.  We had some friends who live in Canada access the account and switch it over to recognize that it is a US account.
My wife did set up iCloud on the 4S.  So we assumed the phone was backing up everything, including the Camera Roll, when charging.  Possibly not so.
My wife is pretty sure the photo stream was on as we didn't change any of the settings after getting it.
I would appreciate an ideas you may have.
    Thank you & kind regards,
    Doug

  • How to view iPhoto pictures?!

OK guys... this will sound a newbie question... but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to view pictures from my iTunes lib on my Apple TV without have to 'Sync' (copy) them to the Apple TV.
Right now I cannot only copy the pictures to the Apple TV.... but I want to just be able to 'stream' them from my Macbook.... is that now possible?
    Cheers!

You can connect your tv with itunes on your computer in two different ways. I prefer to call one a primary and the other a secondary, others will call them paired and shared and others will call them syncing and streaming.
Basically a primary (paired or syncing) library allows you to sync content or stream it or a mixture of both. You can only connect one primary library to an tv.
A secondary library will only let you stream content, but you can have up to 5 of these.
The one exception to this is photos which have to be synced from a primary library, you don't have the option of streaming, so to stream photos you have to use a secondary library.
JGG isn't saying you need 2 computers just to watch different types of content. If you want to stream photos then you will need to stream everything (movies, tunes etc etc), what JGG is saying is that if you didn't want to stream everything and say sync a few movies but stream photos then you would need two computers, or since you are using a mac run two user accounts.
Can I ask why you only want to stream photos.
