- OSX: Maverick to Yosemite = not recommended (check it out > http://roaringapps.com/apps)
- iPad: older versions as iPad2 should not upgrade to iOS7/8 (it's not supporting its hardware accordingly, it's designed for the latest hardware)
- iTunes (it's possible to rollback to 10.7 - 11.4, but you need to breech OSX system security framework)
- Pages (was a real alternative for many of us, each update reduced features and created incompatibility to older work files)

I have used itunes forever, Sunday night when I tried to get into the itunes store an error popped up and said could not open; error code (-3212), How do I get back into the itunes store?

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

Ditto.
You need to look for your itunes library under Computers and select it, then music.
Music column is for web based content not local content, just to confuse everyone.

thanks ..I wish the iPad had an easier way of deselecting a switch to another store. I was searching for a newspaper app and it advised me to switch stores, so I tapped into a switch. I wasn't able to download the app. as this store was restricting Australian access as it turned out. However, there was no request to switch back to where I came from and I got stuck in this store and couldn't take any updates to my apps until I found this way of getting back...grrrrrrrr...but thankyou for the info on how to reset your home country store.

I want to make a purchase, the system prompted me that the item is only available in the US store, and that do i want to shift to US store now? so i said YES! so I went to the US store but later I was told that my account cannot purchase from the US store that's should return toNigerian store. But the system did not prompted me back asking whether I want to return to Nigeria store, each time I want to download, I will be ask to return back to Nigerian store but I did not know HOW to? Therefore I need an assistant to return back to my Nigerian store both for my purchase and my download. Thanks.
