Html email white box no image

Dear all,
I have a sight problem with my html email, I have checked all the links etc and checked the html code but I cannot seem to have a live view of the html. I know this work absolutly fine on my other pc but at work it does not appear after resetting the links at work to the ftp site and local directory. I have even loaded the images directly to the ftp site and these cannot be seen on the copied url from filezilla, if someone could point me in the direction of tutorial or help in sorting this it would be greatly appreicative.

  • How do I get rid of faint white boxes around images?

Some files that I have printed have faint white boxes around images.  The images were saved in photoshop with transparent backgrounds that seem to be showing up faintly in the final printed image.  Does anyone know how I can get rid of this problem?

    signspec,
What happens if you print from Illy?
Your printer (driver) may be overly helpful and performs a bit of colour management all by itself. You may have a look and disable any such management in the printer (driver) options.

  • White boxes around images

Hi, I know this is a basic question but it's causing me a lot
    of grief.
When I place images on coloured backgrounds, they have white
    boxes
around them. Is the only way to get around this to manipulate
    the
image itself in photoshop? I've tried this but it still
    doesn't look
right - there are jagged edges. Or I've tried giving the
    image the
same colour background in photoshop so it blends, but there
    is a white
edge. How do others handle this? Some expert advice would
    really be
    great to have.

If you are seeing white borders against colored backgrounds,
    then this means
that the white is part of the image. There would be no way to
    remove that
short of editing the image in your image editing program.

  • Getting white boxes around images.. help!

I dont know whats going on. I havent used Dreamweaver in a
while and am having an odd issue.
    Located here: www.gwoodsconst.com
I am getting white boxes around the images. Not sure what the
    issues. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Your image contains the white box, not your HTML. If you
created it in a graphics program like Illustrator or Corel, the
anti-aliasing setting at export put a thin blur around the edges to
    visually smooth the image
Crop the image by one or two pixels then reset your sizes so
    it’s not distorted.
    That will fix it.

  • Get rid of white box around image after image tracing to create vectors

    Hi there, please help!!!
I am trying to convert png and psd images (icons) into vectors but i would like to safe them as .eps file and keep them on a transperent background. How do i do that? After the image tracing a white box appears around my images and i dont know how to get rid of it.
I would be so greatful if someone could help me out here as i tried suggestion from the internet and nothing worked so far.

    Franziska,
Tick Ignore White in the Image Trace options.

  • White box around image in my transparent .swf file

I created a .swf file for a header of a website using a logo that tweens in.  I tested the .swf with the transparent properties and it works but the logo I imported from photoshop has a white box around it, how can I remove this?  Do I need to import a transparent .png file instead of a .jpg?
    Thanks!

.png's are lossless vector graphics, so it's probably best bet if your going to do other things with the logo. .jpg's are not fond of resizing. You can also break the image apart and use the lasso tool and magic wand the background away.

  • White box around images

    I'm using FCE 4.
I've setup a moving map sequence (such as world map, point A to point B, with moving line) the sequence has taken me four pics to get it done using my crop tool. Sometimes when I playback, the world map has a transparency of black around it, which is what I want and what it shown in Gimp. Other times in playback the world is surrounded by a white square.
Why does the playback keep changing?
How can I keep it on the black setting?

well, i finally resolved this on my own. I made all the images PNG files. I think it was jpeg that was messing me up.

  • Image not displaying in HTML email upload

    Hi there,
I've uploaded a HTML email into E10 and linked all images as per the standard process however one is just not displaying. It appears when I look at it in Eloqua, and when I do a preview but when I send a test email it won't and just leaves a blank black box. I'm not sure how I need to remedy this, anyone else come across anything similar?
    Thanks
    Marika

    Hi Marika,
From experience, in the majority of cases this happens when the Outlook HTML rendering engine isn't playing nice with your design. If you are using this client, have you checked the email on other clients or webmail (Gmail, Yahoo!, etc) to confirm? Support can usually help for emails created through the WYSIWIG editor, but custom HTML uploads would need to be reviewed by the person who authored the code. If you can pinpoint it to a particular email client, there are usually quite a few resources online that can provide guidance. Check outHTML Email Design Resources
The first thing I typically check out is whether the image is vertically and horizontally aligned with the elements near it, because Outlook has a tendency to put things into its own tables and slight misalignments can dramatically change the final code. If you're having recurring issues like this, investing in analysis tools like Litmus can be worth it.
    Regards,
    Bojan

  • Html email - image won't load

You guys are wonderful - when I've worked and worked on a problem and get to the "pulling out my hair" stage, I remember how helpful the forum has been to me . . .
I have put Outlook 2007 on my computer now so I can easily test the quirks of email rendering in that email client.
I'm attempting to test using slices for the nav bar (hopefully a work around for "wonderful" Outlook 2007) but can't get past an image that won't load. I recently combined three images and some text into one image because Outlook was floating the images and spacing them wrong.  The image that I'm referring to which now won't load is http://www.theshimogaproject.com/email/images/shimoga_pics_text.jpg
The original design displays correctly in browsers:  http://www.theshimogaproject.com/email/riverrun-guests-email.html

  • White box behind transparent images with drop shadow in InDesign CC 2014 (v.10) but not in InDesign CC (v.9)

    Hi all,
Please can you help? No matter what settings I use in my print options in InDesign CC 2014 (v.10), ALL transparent images with a drop shadow are printing with a white box behind the image. If I remove the drop shadow, all prints fine. I know this is an old issue that happens with ID sometimes but I have been lucky enough to never have had it happen to me before! (All images are regular flattened TIFF images with clipping paths).
Also, feathered edges are not printing correctly and are sharp instead of feathered.
When I export the document to IDML and open it up in InDesign CC (v.9) all prints perfectly with no white boxes and feathered edges prints perfectly as well. I have compared all of the print settings (including color management, transparency flattener, etc.) between both versions and they are exactly the same. I am printing to a Xerox color laser printer. Can anyone offer any advice?
    Thank you so much,
    Christine

Okay...false alarm! It turns out that the issue was with my PRINTER settings (the settings you customize after hitting the “Printer” button at the bottom of the Print dialogue box in ID CC. I thought I had triple checked this but it seems there was one setting I missed earlier…adjusting the print brightness seemed to cause the issue. SO GLAD to know it was not InDesign…20 or so sheets/prints later….and thankful to know what was causing the issue! Thank you so much Steve for helping at any rate:) Much appreciated:)

  • HTML email - download image prompt

    Greetings,
Do you know how to code an html file so that
when you send it in the body of an email,
the user has to click on a missing image in order to
get the real image to download and replace it.
I imagine that it is related to the NOSEND feature,
but when I used NOSEND=1, the page sent completely intact
rather than all except for the images.

    Hi Alan,
That's actually how my test worked. I think it works well,
but my boss wants the email to look half disabled I guess.
An email that he received was an html email, but the images
didn't port with the email, so the place that should have an
    image
has a 'system-like' prompt over the image area that basically
    says
    click to download image.
I thought that this occured because of the nosend="1"
    attribute
I found attached to the images in it. So now I'm trying to
    recreate
this situation. I'm about to try a test by sending out an
    HTML
via stationary rather than copy paste.

  • UTL_SMTP send HTML email with embedded image?

Hi, I can use UTL_SMTP to send an HTML email ok, but does anyone have an example of how to include an inline embedded image in the email? Thanks!

If you want to send the html page and have it
reference the images and css files on your web
site, that's pretty easy. Just create a message
with text/html content that is your html page.
If you want to include all the images and css files
in your message along with the html page, you'll
need to create a multipart/related message and
you'll need to change all the html to reference the
images and css files using "cid:" references.
