HTML5 video inside iweb not playing online

Hi everyone.
This is the first time I post something on this forum. I´m having problems with posting a html 5 video online from my iwebsite. I´m new to html so I might very well have done some simple thing wrong in the code. It looks good inside iweb but in firefox I get a X on a grey background and in Safari It says loading..... forever/___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png Any help would be wildly appreciated
This is the code I copied from http://videojs.com/embed-builder/
<video class="video-js" width="870" height="489" controls preload autoplay poster="/___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png">
<source src="http://hrund.org/_/Media/reel.m4v" type='video/mp4; codecs="avc1.42E01E, mp4a.40.2"' />
<source src="http://hrund.org/_/Media/reel.webm" type='video/webm; codecs="vp8, vorbis"' />
<source src="http://hrund.org/_/Media/reel.Ogv" type='video/ogg; codecs="theora, vorbis"' />
<object id="flashfallback1" class="vjs-flash-fallback" width="870" height="489" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://releases.flowplayer.org/swf/flowplayer-3.2.1.swf">
<param name="movie" value="http://releases.flowplayer.org/swf/flowplayer-3.2.1.swf" />
<param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" />
<param name="flashvars" value='config={"playlist":["/___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not -avail.png", {"url": "http://hrund.org/_/Media/reel.m4v","autoPlay":true,"autoBuffering":true}]}' />
</object>
</video>

HTML5 Video Player by VideoJS
And my site is hrund.org
I also tried to mess with the MIME types at my host but I´m suspecting the problem something more simple.
Thanks,
Haru.

I did do a test page by copying the code from VideoJS.

It seems to work OK except that the poster image just flashes on and then disappears.
If you can tolerate this flaw, you can copy their code and replace the URLs with your own rather than using the online code builder.

  • Firefox 15, Flash 11.4, Windows 7 - html5 videos/swf do not play

    Help me please!  I see that many people have similar issues, but no 2 are exactly alike, but I have tried every suggested solution and nothing seems to work.  Everything was fine until about 2 weeks ago and then nothing worked - no youtube, no flash apps, no swf.  I only use Firefox, but I tried it on IE and Chrome - nothing.  I really just want a solution with Firefox, because it has worked.  In my Add-ons Manager, it shows Shockwave Flash 11.4...and Shockwave for Director.  HOWEVER, when they are enabled I cannot watch ANY youtube videos.  If I disable Shockwave Flash, youtube videos play, except for HTML5 videos.  Regardless if Flash is enabled or disabled, when I go to the Adobe flash test page, it is indicating that I do not have flash installed.  However the Shockwave Player test page, shows that shockwave is installed and working.  I am so frustrated....I have uninstalled and installed so many times, shockwave, adobe, etc. And no matter what I do .swf images/apps do not play at all.  This is the worse, since my work's website (which I maintain) uses .swf.  I did not create them, but would like to see them and it seems to necessary when I try to update the website, because the website maintenance hangs.  Flash never 'crashes'.....

    I opened my iPhoto library today which was stored on an external hard drive and several of my videos now will not play at all. The weird thing is that each file shows a duration of 1 second and when I open them it just shows one frame. What the !&%$#@ Where did my original video files go?

    Sounds like a good plan, you can never be to safe and having a second External HD is safer than one.
    The only thing that I would do different, is setup the 3T as my TimeMachine Backup and then erase and move my Photos, Videos and perhaps even iTunes Media to the 1T. That way you will have room to backup both the Internal Hard Drive and the 1T External Hard Drive to the 3T using TimeMachine.
    Take your time, study and use the > Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions if you get stuck or aren't sure how to make the move.

  • Certain Video files do not play in Photoshop Elements 13

    Hi Forum
    I have a problem whereby certain Video files do not play in Photoshop Elements 13 Organizer. The pattern seems to be they are .MOV files. But some files of the same type do play okay? So wondering why some are okay and others not?
    I have installed a trial version of Premiere Elements 13 and ALL files play fine there. I understand Premiere installs all relevant CODECS to support all video formats, so why does Elements Organizer not make use of those CODECS?
    Many thanks and Kind Regards
    David

  • Online video clips do not play correctly on all browsers

    I am unable to play video clips at the right speed without them stalling and stuttering. For example, a typical YouTube clip will not play correctly, so the video will stutter and the sound won't play in time with the video.
    This is especially frustrating when wanting to play music video clips as the song will stutter. This happens regardless of browser - Firefox, Safari or Netscape.
    I have a broadband Internet connection but wonder whether I need to adjust speed settings somewhere so sound and music play correctly.
    I have no problems playing songs via iTunes or watching video clips using Quicktime, it's just the embedded video clips on YouTube etc that won't play correctly.
    Any advice much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Rob

    Flash video is very CPU intensive, open activity monitor and look at your CPU usage while trying to watch a YouTube video, no doubt it is at 100%.
    Unfortunately there isn't much you can do about this - my 400 Mhz G3 can't handle flash video and by the look of some previous posts on the forum I'd be surprised if any can .

  • Purchased videos and music not playing on ipod

    i purchased some music and videos, while using my wifes powerbook g4, loaded them onto my ipod (which i had setup using my pc) now i see the music and videos and when i try playing them the music shows up then goes to the next song. the videos just go to a black screen.
    now i have loaded my cd's onto my wifes powerbook and have been able to play them on my ipod no problem. just the purchased music/videos from itunes, is not playing
    what did i do wrong.

    Did you update the firmware on the iPod? Supposibly if fixes a few bugs.
    http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/
    If you didn't then try that. Believe me your problem is not with not using that CD as I never even popped the disk in my CD drive untill after I had updated my iPod as the software was outdated before it arrived at my house.

  • With purchased music videos they will not play, an error comes up"The requested URP was not fopund on thsi server", and video doesn't play?

    I ahve purchased 5 music vidoes from iTunes and they will not play on my iPhone4. The error message that appears is:
    "The requested URL was not fopund on this server"
    I am not sure how to fix this so I can watch my videos?

    It all depends on exactly how you move the library from one machine to the other. The database holding information about your library is normally in a folder called iTunes, with the media in a subfolder called iTunes Media. In this layout you can usually copy the entire iTunes folder from one machine to the other and it will work. If the media folder is split to a new location however then often the links to tracks will fail on a new computer.
    You shoud find that the FindTracks script is able to repair the links in your library.
    I'm not sure I know what is going on with the purchased music, however if you enable Edit > Preferences > Store > Automatic Downloads > Music you should be able to recover your past store purchases.

  • Linked Video in InDesign not playing, is it possible to embed?

    I have CS5, I have a few videos in my document. I am exporting as .swf using the Page curl option for a FlipBook presentation. I even made a generic video folder, and all the videos are contained in there. Plays fine on the computer I designed it on, but when I bring the .swf and the video folder to another computer, the videos do not play? Please let me know what I could be doing wrong or what I am missing here? thanks so much!

    You can place the video in Keynote but it will be exported as a still.Adobe Acrobat Pro is needed to embed video in a PDF page.

  • Video Attachments will not play within the mail program.

    When trying to view a video attachment from within the mail program it will not play the video. It loads the sound but not the video. This started after a recent apple software update. It is happening on several computers also so it is not an isolated problem. Seems to be a "quicktime" issue. I can download them and play them through quicktime but not while in "mail" like I used to be able to do.
    I use "Flip-4-Mac" to view some windoze videos (wmv).

    It's a conflict between QuickTime 7.5.5 and Flip4Mac. Not much you can do but wait for the Flip4Mac people to issue an update. See here: http://www.flip4mac.com/knowledge/kb_0079.htm

  • Videos on Hulu and other video sites are not playing.

    Videos on sites like Hulu and NBC do not play. The sites load fine, and in fact the ads load fine. But when it gets to the video, nothing comes up at all, just black. Eventually some error comes up like "could not get video at this time."
    Youtube DOES play fine. No problems with Youtube.
    All of these videos play perfectly fine on Safari.
    I have tried uninstalling and re-installing flash, and opening in 32-bit mode.
    I have a newer iMac running OSX 10.6.8. My Firefox is up-to-date.

    I realized my problem. I have the program Little Snitch and it was denying a plugin container. I suppose I accidentally said deny once. Went in and changed the settings and videos play fine now.

  • MY VIDEOS STILL DO NOT PLAY

    I BOUGHT 2 videos for my ipod. They are on my ipod, but they do not play when I select them to watch. What's wrong? Help ASAP!

    First make sure that your Video/output cables are compatible with the IPOD.
    Then make sure you IPOD have the correct Video setting output.
    TV= ON; Signal = NTSC and if your using HDTV set use Widescreen is ON.; Off will should work as well.
    When you connect to TV make sure the Color Cable connection are correct.
    Yellow is Video has to connect to Yellow; it’s not optional!
    Then Match your Audio (left) White and (Right) Red cables
    Check your IPOD Video setting!
    Make sure the Video setting equals TV output ON.
    The output should work like any other standard Video
    and Audio circuit.
    Then configure TV set for IPOD Input.
    It should work!

    Thanks, Old Toad,
    I know what you are referencing. I just never go to that folder but that is where I do publish the site prior to uploading it onto the internet using the FTP.
    And, it is when I have published the updated pags to the the Local Folder, the video plays perfectly well.
    Soooo, it must be all about restricted bandwith that I am currently using with my domain web host ISP, which is a shared bandwidth. Economics affect me as a volunteer therefore cannot afford the higher speed which is not a shared bandwith.
    To add to my demise, I have issues with signing on to YouTube through my Google account. Try to sort that one out is impossible. Tried for hours but all to no avail to get signed in. So I can't upload my videos which is too bad for my website.
    Will chat further with my domain host and see what other options are available to me.

  • Video and Music not playing anymore ZiiO 10"

    Music and Video are not playing anymore on my ZiiO 0".
    I I click on Zii video, and then click on a .avi file, the screen stays black. If I click on the back button (the physical button) the following message appears:
    Sorry!
    Activity ZiiVideo (in Application Ziivideo) is not responding. I can Force close or wait (but when I click wait the screen still stays black). Force close closes the application of course.
    This problem also applies for ZiiMusic.
    I bought the tablet yesterday. Everything was working fine, also with android 2.. After the upgrade to 2.2 Froyo, ZiiVideo/ZiiMusic was working fine as well.
    After placing a few new video/mp3 files and trying to play, the problem appeared.
    The only files?I deleted during the placing of the new video/music files, were the SAMPLE video/music files of Ziio.
    I tried the following:
    - Factory reset (Settings --> Privacy)
    - Re-installing the firmware (I have the correct firmware), by going through the steps of the firmware process again (firmware succeeds)
    ZiiPhoto is working as well as the Webbrowser. However, when I go to Youtube and then click on a video, ZiiVideo is again not able to play the video (Ziivideo hangs, screen stays black).
    Update: Just noticed camera is not working anymore. Same error as when trying to play a Video/Music file.
    Help!

    Problem solved.
    I copied an Album with MP3 tracks which were most likely faulty?
    I deleted the MP3 Album, and now everything works.
    I have copied multiple video/MP3 tracks and all play well.
    By the way, do you know of which type the HDMI connector on the Ziio 0" is? Is it type D?
    And which audio formats does it play? I have a few .avi files which play video ok, but no sound?

    Hi, I have seen that in some cases when you click a link, an entire page (including the SDN header) is embeded inside the content area. I think it would be a good idea to navigate to that page instead of emeding it. Regards, Eitan
