hello i'm using that componet. i have trouble. now i want in my home page
i have 2 title from my localhost/phpmyadin. and i want when click title 1 it will link to a detail.mxml and display content of title 1
and when click title 2 it will display content of title 2 in detail.xml
i don't know transmission parameters . Can u help me please. I'm need it

PHP and SQL Server with DW

Hi,
I have a problem with DW. I´d like to develop a site
using PHP and SQL Server. Anyone knows if is there a extension to
do this kind connection inside DW?
I´ve tried to use the string that DW generates to
connect with MySql and change it to connect with SQL Server,
however it doesn´t work.
I´ve already found a extension that do this, but it
doesn´t work with DW CS3.

There used to be the PHAkt servermodel supporting multiple
databases in PHP
with Dreamweaver,
unfortunately Adobe dropped the product after acquiring the
company that
produced it before the release of CS3, so
it's not compatible with Dreamweaver CS3.

Where are Application Builder and SQL/Data Workshops?

I have installed HTML DB (or Application Express) 10.1.0.2 (using the relevant DB server; but without companion tools - but - I hope that I am not loosing anything important from HTML DB, am I?) - installation and automatic configurationi was successfull and at the and I have been advised to use localhost:7779 to access web page - and it worked indeed - but the bad thing is - that I can't found where application developer and SQL, Data workshop can be accessed... seem that they are web browser based solutions - but - there aren't any documents inside Oracle apache web folder that could be perceived as these applications....
In first steps guide there was mentiond to use:
.../pls/application secutiry desciptior/dbhtml
to make first login... - but it does not work for me and seems that in reality address should be different...
Pleas - give some advice - what to do next to access HTML DB developmetn applacations?

Help with Flex - PHP - and SQL Server

Good afternoon,
I have been working on this problem for over a week and am at
my wit's end. I am trying to create an application that will allow
me and my fellow statisticians to share code easily. The
technologies at my disposal are Flex, PHP and SQL Server 2005. The
web server is IIS. I have downloaded and installed the PHP driver
for SQL Server 2005 and am able to query the database and generate
XML. The problem I'm having is that I can't return the XML from PHP
to Flex.
If I execute the php code in a web browser and view the
source, it looks like XML. I can then cut and paste the exact same
code into an xml file and read it in from the harddisk and the tree
will populate. Can anyone please help me? I don't have flex builder
so I it's hard for me to use trace and view what is going on.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried every permutation of
e4x path notation I can think of. You're right, you're not supposed
to need the root level as that's supposed to be returned in the
result. So you should only need to reference first level after the
root. When I do this and launch the .SWF I get a completely empty
tree.
I think the problem lies somewhere in my understanding of
what format Flex needs returned from a HTTPRequest. It's my
understanding that it just needs to be XML. As far as I can tell,
that's what I'm sending it. On the PHP side, does it have to be
cast a special way? Everything I've seen just shows people using
ECHO to output the XML data.

PHP and SQL trouble

Hi there,
Im currently creating a login system using php and sql. At the moment i have it that when the user registers their information (i.e username,password) it gets stored in the database. The part that i am having an issue with is that when the user logs in, I want to retrive the relavant data from the database and compare it to what they have entered into the login section. I persume i have to use an sql query something like (SELECT username, password FROM Users) but not sure how to compare it to what the user has entered.

Oracle service bus: Work manager and Throttling

Flow is PS_C--->BS_A (based on PS_A)
I created a http protocol based proxy service PS_A and a business service based on PS_A, i.e. BS_A.
Now this BS_A is deployed on four different managed servers. I have implemented failover so at a time copy of only one of the managed severs will be accessed by multiple external clients through PS_C. To say all will hit Managed server-1 copy of BS_A. If Managed server-1 is down then it will hit Managed server-2 copies of BS_A.
I have created a workmanager named "CustomWorkManager" which has MaxThreadConstraint=1. PS_A has not enabled CustomWorkManager. i.e. PS_A works under default policy.
My goal is to process only one request at one time through BS_A.
In business service, BS_A I can see work manager and throttling options.
My question is this:
Scenario I: I make throttling enabled and set maximum concurrency=1 for BS_A
Scenario II: I apply CustomWorkManager to BS_A
Scenario III: I do both Scenario I and Scenario II
What is the difference between I, II and III?
Fundamentally, what is the difference between throttling with maxConcurrency=1 and MaxThreadConstraint of workmanager=1 for a http business service?

Use case:
What is the target app/service? Is it DB, HTTP or anything else?
Back end: Amadeus web services
Role of DB:
1. It will store data to attach transaction context to a request. This is to call more than one services in the backend - it is necessary for backend to understand in which context services are being invoked.
For example, if I need to make PNR related changes, I need to invoke service X and fetch transaction context from back-end. The transaction specific identifier (read session) will be received in header part. After retrieve suppose I need retrieve PNR, I will invoke service Y. When I invoke, I need to put the transaction specific header part received in response of service X and then change body as per request format of service Y (read the response header of X will be the same as request and response header of Y) which will actually make changes and commit in the backend. (So back-end will understand that service X and Y are invoked as a part of single transaction, and transaction can be identified through logs)
3. Once my X+Y call is over and transaction is committed, the context for transaction specific part received in header to the transaction is removed from back-end. Then I can use session again for the next transaction.
4. To re-use session I am storing it in DB and retrieving as per need for each call to Amadeus.
Problem is, it is absolute necessary for all transactions which are being processed simultaneously, to have unique session in header.
For example,
I do the following:
Request 1: receives session from service X, uses for service Y. After use, inserts session in DB. Now context for that session is removed from back-end.
Request 2: looks for session DB, puts in header and invokes backend. Context for Request 2 is attached to session retrieved from DB.
Request 3: looks for session DB, puts in header and invokes backend. Context for Request 3 is attached to session retrieved from DB.
As you can see if Request 2 and Request 3, pick up the same session from DB and invoke back-end, back-end services won't be able to understand which request the session belongs to, and will fail both requests. Ideally Request 2 should retrieve it from DB use for itself and Request 3 should make a call to service X at back-end to receive context. With this new context Request 3 should proceed for transaction.
Why are you using a BS to call from one Proxy to another Proxy?:
1. To interact with DB, I use DBAdapter business services with QueryByExample/Update/Insert operation.
2. My PS_A is proxy which orchestrates these operations. (Read: SelectandUpdateDBForSessionRetrieve, UpdateDBWhenTransactionOver functionaries) Since there are two admin and four managed servers, all copies of PS_A will try to access DB simultaneously, and concurrency will fail.
3. Hence I made BS_A on the basis of PS_A. BS_A is deployed on all four managed servers, used Load Balancing Algorithm as "None" and gave hard-coded urls of four managed servers in sequence of MS1, MS2, MS3 and MS4.
4. Idea is if MS1 is ok, all requests will go to BS_A of MS1 only, and if somehow if I make it single threaded *(Read from DB+mark retrieved data as "in use" so other request can not use it)*, concurrency issue will not arise. In case MS1 is down, the requests will automatically forwarded to MS2 and since that is also single threaded, concurrency issue won't arise. In short both fail-over and concurrency can be achieved with BS_A making out of PS_A.
The problem as you have correctly pointed out, is that OSB is stateless and one request has no relation with another. Somehow, I need to make every retrieve/update/insert to database as single threaded, i.e. once one is done then another should not be done at the same time. Else entire point of this pooling will fail.
Please share any thoughts you might have. Even another approach to handle this single threaded need will do.

PHP and spatial data

Is there way to access spatial (MDSYS.GEOMETRY type) columns from PHP?
With older OCI8 interface I get ADT-error, with never PDO_OCI I don't get anything, neither error or data.
Or is there way to convert geometry columns to/from WKT in pure PL/SQL (I know that in 10g there is Java-based WKT functions but they don't work with XE or older releases of full Oracle)

You can return results from Oracle Spatial as long as they are not geometries. Here are two examples.
1. You can send a spatial query in PHP and return a non-spatial result, for example:

Home made PHP and SQL Calender

I'm making a PHP calender which will output the contents of a
database via SQL. At the moment ive got heading (just a quick over
view of whats happening), event (more detailed info not shown
during the standard calender view), importance (this will simply be
a cel colour which I can do very easily without help) and date
(day, month, year) as my fields. I'm trying to figure a way of
putting something in each field and getting it to come out on the
appropriate date on my finished calender.
It's VERY early stages so SQL development hasn't begun yet, I
wan't to do this completely by hand (I'm aware theres calender PHP
scripts already). I was thinking of making a database containing
each month, day and year and if theres something in the specific
fields then outputting whatever I've wrote in it, however this will
make the database HUGE! Whats the simplist and easiest way to do
this.
P.S I also want to be able to have multiple entries for one
date

Did a calendar extension for ASP once, for data storage it
used a simple sql
table containing a EventDate and EventTitle column, the
display logic was
something like below
retrieve Events WHERE Date >= first day of month AND Date
<= last day of
month
for each Week in the Month
begin table row
for each day in the Week
begin table cell
for each event in selected Events
If(EventDate == day) Print EventTitle
next event
end table cell
next day
end table row
next Week
I hope you get an idea about how to avoid creating a row for

Help converting between Java Dates and SQL Dates

I'm working on a JSP to allow a user to enter information about news articles into a mySQL database. I'm using text fields for most of the data, and most of it is transferred correctly when the user hits "Submit." However, I am having a problem with the date field of the mySQL database. Basically I'm trying to retrieve the current date from the JSP page, and then insert this into the date field of the appropriate table when the user hits submit. The problem is that I can't typecast a java.util.Date or even a java.util.Calendar to a java.sql.Date object. I've tried lots of approaches, including creating a new instance of java.util.Calendar, getting all its fields and concatenating them onto the date variable, but this doesn't work.
Anyone know how I could easily convert between java.util.Date or java.util.Calendar and java.sql.Date?

I can correctly display the current date on the page in java.sql.Date format now, but it's still not being inserted into the database correctly. The specific code is as follows:

Reporting Services 2012 for SharePoint and SQL Server Agent "Subscriptions and Alerts"

After installing Reporting Services for SharePoint (Denali) in my test farm, I'm trying to configure the "SQL Server Agent" access for Reporting Services. From Central Admin I'm going to the Reporting Service applicaiton configuration screen and selecting
"Provision Subscriptions and Alerts". I've tried both options on this screen. I've manually executed the "download sql script" in SQL Server, as well as entering a user with SQL sys admin rights on the SQL server into the login fields on the screen.
The role and permissions have been created for the application pool service account, but Reporting Services is still trying to connect with the annonymous login because I'm getting the following alert each time I open the "Provision Subscriptions and Alerts"
screen:
Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'
The "status" on the screen still shows "SQL Server Agent State cannot be determined". Has anyone else seen this?

1) Looks like the new Reporting Services does not run as a Windows Service so it's not listed in the "Configure Service Accounts" pulldown. As a result, I don't see how to set the service account. It's only assigned to an application pool.
I installed it into an existing application pool and that application pool "is" in the list and has a domain service account already assigned.
2) Which users need to be in here in order to configure the "Provision Subscriptions and Alerts" screen? I already have the farm admin account which is the account I use when running Central Admin.
3) As mentioned in #1, I've installed Reporting Services into an existing application pool with other service apps.
4) This link is for Reporting Services 2008 R2 which is very different install process. But I did follow the SQL Server Reporting Services 2012 RC0 installation instructions and the Reporting Services is functioning correctly with no errors.
I'm just not able to configure the sceduling the alerting with interfaces with the SQL Server Agent.

Error 17058 Unable to start a service account on MSSQLServer and SQL Agent

I am intalling SQL 2008 standard with SP1 on a Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2.
I installed as "local service account" for MSSQLServer (SQL database engine) and SQL agent.
But I want to change to "service account" as [domain\svc_XXX] for MSSQLserver and SQL agent.
I add the [domain\svc_XXX] in local security policy - "Log as a service"
and also add in SSMS - Security - New Login (windows authentication.
When I started the MSSQLserver and SQL agent using the [domain\svc_XXX], I got an error 17058. Initerrlog: could not open error log file." Operating system error=3 (The system cannot find the path specified).
I don't know where else to look at..
Also, how do I find the cumulative service pack for SQL server 2008 standard?

No.No.No. I am not loading image from folder.
step1 : I m sending some image information to php (src , width , height)
step2 : PHP code will take that information
step3 : PHP code will crop that particular image (some calcution for quality)
step4 : PHP code will generate some image data that is /* imagejpeg( $imgData ) */ and return back to flash
step5 : Now the problem occur, how can i take that image data in flash or what form
Possibilities :
? should i get image data as text format and it needs to be encoded (like jpeg encoder)
? i don't know i already try jpegencoder but i did not get anything

GZIP-Encoded HTTP Response in adobe air and flex data service

Hello,
I am using data centric service in flash builder 4 (beta 2) to call betfair web service. The application is working well.
But betfair told me to set the encoding to gzip when requesting the web service. I had used httpHeaders to add new header.

         bfHeader["Accept-Encoding"]= "gzip";
         _serviceControl.httpHeaders = bfHeader;
Now when I run the application, network monitor shows both the request and response is encoded in gzip format, network monitor itself uncompressed the content and showed it. But I don't know how to uncompress the content. As the content is compressed, I could not call any data service.
I have tried to use the convertResultHandler. But actually don't know how to use it correctly.
Please help me. Its important

Its been a long while since you posted your topic but I've just found it after being getting stuck with this exact problem. There is a gzip decompressor my Danny Patterson that might help. I've added the header in as well but the responces don't seem to be coming down in a compressed format.
It would be cool to chat with you about this.
