Husband and I would like to trade iPods, is this possible?

My husband bought me an 80G iPod in Feb. I bought him a 30G one last week, thinking we didn't need 2 80's in the house, and I'm cheap. But, he's on the road all the time, and has more music than I do, and probably HE should be the one with the 80, and I should have the 30. Is there any way for us to trade? We each have our own laptop with our own libraries (and iTunes accounts), and we'd want to change the whole bit. Most of our stuff is off our own CD's, but we do both have some purchased material. Any help is appreciated!

If the iPods are set to update automatically then just connect each of them to the "new" computer. You'll get a message that the iPod is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Erase and Sync". This will link the iPod to it's new home and load up the iTunes from that computer. If the iPods are currently set to manual update, change this to "Sync Music - all songs and playlists" before swopping over otherwise the iPod won't sync with the new library.
You might also want to change the names on them. Select your iPod in the iTunes Source list.
Click on it's its name again.
The text box will open for editing.
Type a new name.
