Hyperlink for an Object need to be open in a different window

Hi Guyz,
I have a Crystal Report which has few sub reports. In one of the Sub Report I have created a Hyperlink for an object using the formula Editor. This report is viewed from a different Portal with the help of ASP Pages. For some reason when I run the report and click on the Hyperlink, it is opening in the same window.
I want the report to be opened in a different window. Following is the formula I am using as a Hyperlink in formula Editor.
imgAddress = "http://<server>:8080/index.jsp?action=filter&username=anonymous&password=1&"
imgAddress = imgAddress + "&drawer=Invoices&folder=" + "&tab=" + trim({stp_AC290;1.INVOICE})
In the ASP page i am using a DHTML Viewer. Sometimes when I am using ActiveXviewer it is opening as expected.

It appears you are using ASP, it's no longer supported in CR 2008 but can you clarify which SDK you are using?

Webi 4.0 Hyperlink for Hierachy Object

I'm using SSAS cube as a source for my webi report . When i apply a hyperlink to hierarchy object,the hierarchy object become flat. Is that any method to maintain the hierarchy while using hyperlink?

When people click my Hyperlinks they leave my website. Is there a way for the hyperlinks to open in a new window so that my website always stays open on the desktop?
I hope that is clear?

I don't recall the previous versions to 08, but in 08 in the inspector when you enable a hyperlink to an external page there is an option to have the link open in a new window.

Javascript window.open needs to always open in a new window

I am tring to create a menu system. When the user selects an item, then clicks Open Application, I want them to be able to open the application in a new browser window with specific window prefs.
I have added this javascript to my page html header

I then have a html region with the source as:

When I click on open app, the first time the app will open in a new window, but the second time it will just change the already open window to the new app. If I create new function then the new function call will open in the new window, but the next time it will just refresh.
It seems like this function only opens a new window the first time it is called. Does anyone have any ideas how to open a new window every time?

I was able to fix my problem. I had to change the java script to this:

Using MIME type to open file in different window

Hello, I am popping up a Save File Dialog Box for an Excel file being generated in my system using POI. I am using the MIME type to display this dialog. The problem is that if the user selects 'Open' instead of 'Save', it opens in the same window. Is there any way to set an attribute to tell it to open the file in a new, separate window?

Nope. The response is sent to wherever the request came from. If you want the response to open in a new window then the HTML that sends the request has to say that.

Safari opens in a different window position each time it starts.

I have multiple desktops and my web browsers, Safari and Firefox both open in the same desktop. If I position Firefox in a particular position, it opens in that position every time. Safari will open wherever it wants. At the top under the menu bar one time. On the bottom of the screen the next. Or anywhere in between. The window size stays the same, just screen position changes. and it's totally random. And it's the only app that does this. It's a very minor issue but it does become annoying after awhile. I'm running Mavericks on this computer but it does this on my Mountain Lion computers as well. So it's had this issue for a few versions. I'm pretty sure it's only started this in the most recent versions.
Has anyone else noticed this and if so, is there a way to get it to open in the same window position every time like it used to?

See if deleting the cache helps..
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that does't help, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

i have one requirement,on dashboard page I have dragged three reports on dashboard page next i am selected this option "Link-with in the Dashboard" for three reports .i saved the dashboard page,on dashboard page i am getting three reports as three links(report1,report2,report3). when i click on report1 link i need to open the report in the same page and same window and below that report1 i need to show remaining two links report2,report3 links.coluld you please provide me solution for this.it is an urgent requirement for me.

To the current dashboard create 3 different pages like with content as below
Page1:
Report1 with Display Results->Embedded in Section
Report2-> Link - Within the Dashboard
Report3-> Link - Within the Dashboard
Page2:
Report1-> Link - Within the Dashboard
Report2 with Display Results->Embedded in Section
Report3-> Link - Within the Dashboard

Report1-> Link - Within the Dashboard

Once you done with this hide these 3 pages using Dashboard page properties.
Come to your actual page where you want to show these 3 reports as links

How do i get firefox to open with the same window size every time, even if the last instance I had open had a different window size because I resized it??

My firefox opens new windows with a size that equals the current window I have open, or if I have no window open, the last window I closed. I would like to have it open windows the same size every time, regardless of what size the current window is, or what size the last window I closed was. I cannot find a setting or addin to do this anywhere. I have resizer which lets me change the size, but it is annoying that I can't have a default size for windows being opened. I open windows in new windows, not tabs.

Adding more than one hyperlink to an object? Help!

I am creating an interactive PDF in indesign. I have a photo and I want to link more than one website to it. So when a user clicks on the product, more than one website will open.
How can I do this? I only know how to create one hyperlink for one object at a time, but how can you add more than one website for one object??

In Firefox 5, New Windows open in the same window even though the options are set to open in a new window.

I have the options set to open new windows in a new tab. However, they do not.
For example, as I click on the various options for support on Firefox.com, each opens in the same window. Similarly for Yahoo. If I bring up the news page and click on various links, they all open in the same window. How do you get them to open in new windows?

Pure speculation, but maybe that Identity Finder program is deleting your browsing history which is how Firefox restores tabs and windows from the previous session. Check with technical support for that program or look at the manual.
